Myrtle Beach Misconduct Revisited

As most of you are aware, the appeals committee, headed by the league owner, exists to provide vital oversight over Head Office and its decisions. They have reviewed the evidence in the Myrtle Beach Misconduct case and have found that our original course of action (one charge of tampering and three warnings) is not wholly sufficient. Their reasonings are provided below.

In my almost 3 years in sim leagues I have not seen an environment like Myrtle Beach. Between wishing ill towards numerous DSFL teams, gaming the leagues waiver system, suggesting people retire, having prospects create with awful useless builds and then position switch and much more Cory and RD specifically (though Frost and Jeff are certainly not blameless) have fostered a terrible room and environment for the DSFL. Were it up to me - they would both be fired from their posts. Additionally - look at Speculadora's posts and the comments. Cory and RD acting like they did nothing wrong, saying they agree with his post as if they are not the fundamental part of this problem. We as a league need to make a stand that this kind of behavior is not to be taken lightly.

The committee agreed to uphold the tampering punishment for jeff, found here.

Upon further discussion, the Head Office has agreed to add the suspension of GM pay as part of this punishment.

- @RainDelay will lose his S22 NSFL GM pay.
- @Frostbite will lose his S22 NSFL GM pay.
- @scorycory will lose his S22 DSFL GM pay.


As an additional note, any harassment/threats/attacks toward anyone suspected of being a whistleblower is unacceptable and will be punished. If you are experiencing this, please reach out to a member of HO.

So just to some up, Norfolk/NOLA has had MULTIPLE players say they refuse to play for any other team not named NOLA over the last two seasons. A commissioner get exposed for tampering and deleting evidence, then have that entire scenario get swept under the rug.

Myrtle beach has: had almost all of our top earners drafted to different teams last in the NSFL last season, created the most active locker room in the league after previously being a bot team. Had a GM ousted who developed a recruiting relationship with a 1000+ user league, and who's only crime was bringing an inactive player back to the league. Norfolk had every opportunity to draft Gabe before the 12TH GOD DAMN ROUND. 12 rounds!! You guys didn't even sign him during the trade deadline! He was a 57 TPE OL, do you expect him to come back and peak at 600 TPE before regression? What the hell.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I don't want to hear about SLM saying he's never seen such awful behavior while sporting a PENN STATE profile picture. You guys are ridiculous. You're ruining the league for me, a completely innocent user, for absolutely no reason. All of the people who've made this league fun for me are now going to leave, and I'll be left in the dust.

Did you read my post? Are you aware of the fact that tampering was not mentioned in my message? This has nothing to do with Gabe. This has nothing to do with that tampering. If you are in the war room and believe Scory and his group have behaved perfectly then you are also part of the problem.

This isn't an uncommon thing in the league at all. Colorado has a player like that this season as well. Most alumni usually demand to play on their original DSFL teams again when they retire and recreate. A player asking to play for a specific team is not against the rules. A member of a team telling a member of another team to join their team is against the rules.

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of that scenario. The commissioner was never under investigation for tampering. The investigation was over the accusation that someone tampered the commissioner.

Did you read my post? Are you aware of the fact that tampering was not mentioned in my message? This has nothing to do with Gabe. This has nothing to do with that tampering. If you are in the war room and believe Scory and his group have behaved perfectly then you are also part of the problem.

Really though as someone who has been in the locker in Myrtle Beach since the start in my opinion they have created one of the best locker rooms in the NSFL that is 2nd only to NOLA. It's full of active and passionate people. To say that they've made a bad environment ain't it.

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of that scenario. The commissioner was never under investigation for tampering. The investigation was over the accusation that someone tampered the commissioner.

My assumption is that he's referring to when messages were deleted before I was given access to a certain discord server. But, that was punished, so he's still wrong.
