It is 100% true. The environment was great for Myrtle Beach. And it was awful for the rest of the league.

I mean I can't really remember the last time I rooted for another team to beat my own. It's their locker room who are you to say that they need to be nice to every other team in the league?

Furthermore the point of the DSFL is to develop players for the NSFL. Is it really an issue if the member is going to be more active on that team? GMs are going to try to win Ultiminis but they don't matter for the Hall of Fame, or at least they shouldn't, and they aren't really the point of that league in the first place.

It's not a good look obviously, but if I were a DSFL GM and I had a friend that I wanted to create while I had waiver priority I'd do the same thing cause I know they'll be active on my team and that'll give them a better chance at getting to the NSFL.

This is all silly. very poor judgement in my opinion.

Then why have a DSFL draft or waivers? Hell why even have DSFL related contracts if you would rather have people be able to play in the DSFL where they want when they want? Everyone can be on teams with their friends.

Damn, didn't realize HO could just "revisit" a punishment whenever they wanted, even after the punishment was given and upheld by the appeals committee. I don't recall that being in the rules anywhere. This is literally like taking someone back to court for the same crime, with no new evidence, just because you changed your mind about the decision; it isn't allowed and for good reason. Even if the punishment didn't fit the allegation, ammending an already given punishment at this point is ludicrous and should be a punishable action itself.

I've never had a player on Myrtle Beach, and I don't care if I ever do. But, this is a definite way to completely destroy an entire locker room's motivation in the league. Good job, I guess? I mean, that's what you wanted, based on your statement about the team, right? Btw, I can't wait for the Bex punishment results to finally be announced. Obviously, if the votes were even counted, we know how it went. But, I'm not sure why the results were never officially announced, except for the fact that she's Commissioner, which should have no bearing on the punishment itself.

That's a real flawed way of thinking. They'd have to get waiver priority which means they were the worst team last season or they missed the chance on other players/passed on other players while they waited for someone they wanted. And then once they pick that person up they'll be in the final waiver slot so anyone else they want to join the team won't get a chance to cause another team will pick them up.

Being competitive is great. You know how hyper competitive I am. in the minor leagues doing the things they did is not becoming of a DSFL GM or war room member.

this punishment was the recommendation from appeals btw. this isn't double jeopardy or anything

I have to second that. It's been 2.5 months since the Bex thing, and no final results were announced. But when it comes to other cases, punishments come out in a span of a few days and get even revisited.

They were counted, she passed both votes. It was counted, and confirmed, by two parties operating independently of each other. To say otherwise is just incorrect.
