Hi, I'm LimJahey, and when I first came into the league, I was selected by the Pythons in the S21 DSFL draft. During this week of bonus money, I was curious to see how the rest of my Python teammates were doing, and the success they were having, so I decided to make a list and give a rundown on all of the S22 NSFL players drafted from the Pythons.

The first Python selected in the S22 draft, Tyler Oles Jr. was selected with the fourth pick of the second round by the Outlaws. With a first round draft grade, Oles Jr. could have easily been selected in the first round as well, but the S22 draft class being one of the most stacked classes made him drop to early second round. He was immediately called up to the Outlaws active roster, where he finished the year with 52 Tackles, 2 Forced Fumbles, an interception, and 23 pass deflections, second most in the league. Oles Jr. lived up to his draft spot and was a big piece in the Outlaws secondary, and will surely evolve into one of the leagues best corners. Being drafted with 215 tpe, as of writing he has gotten up to 387 tpe, an increase of 172.
Grade: A+

The second Python drafted, Byron Dolls was also the first Offensive Lineman drafted in the S22 draft. Picked in the third round by the Baltimore Hawks, he was immediately called up to become their starting Tackle. For linemen there are not a lot of stats to go off of to show dominance and talent, he had 45 pancakes, second most for rookies, and did not allow a single sack across the whole season. Being drafted with 212 tpe, as of writing he has gotten up to 368 tpe, an increase of 156.
Grade: A

The first safety taken from the Pythons, Shawn Dawkins was selected with the first pick in the fourth round by the Honalulu Lmaofish. He was not called up to the Honalulu roster, so he played a second year for the Pythons down in the DSFL. As of writing, he has a statline of 76 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, a recovery, 3 sacks, one interception, and two pass deflections, six different stats on defense. Starting the year with 199 tpe, he hit the DSFL cap of 250, and as of the time of writing, has made it up to 321 total tpe, an increase of 122.
Grade: A-

The second Offensive lineman taken from the Pythons, Tommy Sacamano was drafted by the Austin Copperheads, playing his first year under them with the Pythons in the DSFL. Statisticly, he had an alright season with 45 pancakes while only allowing a single Sack. Drafted with 185 tpe, he has yet to hit the DSFL cap, and has only made it up to 234, an increase of just 49. As of 05/21, he has not had a single update since 05/09, and may potentially be inactive.
Grade: C-

The first runningback from the Pythons, Tatsu Nakamura was drafted in the fourth round by the Orange County Otters. He was called up to the main roster, and was a big piece of their offense, with 822 yards on 211 attempts and 5 touchdowns. He proved himself as a potential franchise player, coming in second among rookies for yards, and second among rookies in terms of touchdowns. He started the year at 212 tpe, and as of writing has gotten up to 371, an increase of 159.
Grade: A+

The second cornerback from the Pythons to be drafted, if we were ranking all players in terms of controversey, he would be #1 overall by a landslide. A very controversal player, he was taken in the fifth round with late first early second round talent. The Outlaws were the ones to make such a bold selection, because everyone knows him and the unwanted attention that he can bring. That does not however mean he cannot play the game of football. With 85 tackles, 4 interceptions, 12 pass deflections, and two defensive touchdowns, he had an incredible year on defense. Leading rookies in interceptions, and tied for 4th in the league for interceptions, he had more interceptions than the SaberCats had as a team, and is a prime candidate for DROTY. Starting with a total of 213 tpe, as of the time of writing, he is at 356 tpe, an increase of 143.
Grade: A+

The first of the five Pythons tight ends to get drafted, Daniel George was picked by the Orange City Otters in the fifth round. He was not called up by the Otters, who had selected Jeffrey Phillips in the first round, so he would play a second season with the Portland Pythons. As of the time of writing, he has gotten 32 catches for 252 yards and a single touchdown. The second tight end taken by the Otters, it is unlikely he will be called up soon due to their first rounder Jeffrey Phillips being called up and being a massive piece of the Otters offense. Starting off with a total of 182 tpe, as of the time of writing, he is at 256 tpe, capped out for the DSFL, and an increase of 74. He has not had any tpe updates since 05/02 however, so the future is uncertain.
Grade: C+

Another Python player drafetd by the Outlaws, Slinky Claxton was drafted in the sixth round with the fourth pick. He would play another year for the Pythons, but is primed to be called up to the Outlaws roster very soon. As of writing, he has had 25 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and two sacks. He would start off with a total of 195 tpe, and as of me writing, has made it up to 332 TPE, breaking the DSFL cap, for an increase of 137.
Grade: A-

Four picks after Slinky, Joey McCabe became the third offensive lineman drafted from the Pythons, getting drafted in the sixth round by the Sailfish with the eigth pick that round. Being sent back to play a second year for the Pythons, he would finish the year with 42 pancakes and would allow two sacks. Starting off with a total of 143 tpe, as of writing he only has 198 tpe, but has a big update coming very soon. As of right now he has an increase of 55 tpe.
Grade: C+

With the final pick of the sixth round, the Ultimus champion Second Line would end up selecting Hank Steel. Getting drafted by a championship team usually means a line of talent ahead of you, so Hank Steel was sent back down to the DSFL to play another year for the Pythons, getting 21 tackles and 4 sacks as of the time of writing. Starting off at 146 tpe, he has broken the DSFL cap of 250, and made it up to 275 tpe, an increase of 129.
Grade: A

It would be over two rounds until another Python was taken in the draft, and it would be the second Python tight end to get drafted, Nick Marksman. Getting taken in the ninth round by the Sabercats, he was sent down the the DSFL to play more with the Pythons. As of the time of writing, his stats are 17 catches for 75 yards. Starting out at 90 tpe, he has gotten up to 131 tpe since being drafted, an increase of 41. Now that we are getting into the late mid draft, the talent pool will start to thin out.
Grade: D+

The first Reciever from the Pythons to get drafted, Sean Snyder would get drafted by the Second Line, the champions of S21. It was no suprise that he was sent back to the Pythons to spend some more time developing. He would end up with 29 catches for 333 yards and two touchdowns as the time of me writing this. He was drafted with 75 tpe, and as of me writing this, he has gotten up to 191 tpe, for an increase of 116. For a later round choice, he has shown improvement and could make the roster in another year or two.
Grade: B+

Something in the water out in Arizona must have given them a serious hard on for Python players, using their tenth round pick on Zed Keppler, a running back. With Baby Yoda being a young and rising talent, Zed Keppler would be sent back down to the Pythons. He would not play for the Pythons all year though, after week 6, he was traded to the Grey Ducks, and is the second option to Jamar Lackson F. He would have a good year as a second option, getting 424 yards on 96 attempts and 3 rushing touchdowns. He was drafted with 98 tpe, and has gotten up to 215 as of the time of writing, for an increase of 107. For a later round he was a great pickup, but due to Baby Yoda being only a season older and already their starting runningback, he will either become a second option, or could be traded to a team looking for a runningback.
Grade: B-

The third of five tight ends to be drafted, Von Hayes would be selected by the Chicago Butchers with the sixth pick in the tenth round, pick 114. Going to a Butchers team in a state of rebuilding, Von Hayes would be immediately called up by the Butchers and onto their starting roster, where he would play with the retiring and regressing Rose Jenkins for 8 weeks, before the Butchers would commit to a complete rebuild, and trade Jenkins for a draft pick, and have to send out 50 tpe legend "Flinging Franky LaFleur". With those being the two quarterbacks Hayes would play with, he would finish the year with 41 catches for 305 yards, second in both categories among TRUE rookie tight ends (No TE's playing FB), and would get 26 pancakes (also second among rookies) while allowing a single sack. Statistically, only Heath Evans had a better rookie season for TRUE tight ends. Starting off with 111 tpe, Hayes would end up with 241 tpe as of writing, an increase of 130.
Grade: A+ (Might be biased)
When I first joined, I looked at the NSFL tight ends, and saw how much tpe they had and thought that there would be no way that I would be abe to be a starter, let alone get called up to the NSFL. But with the Butchers organization putting their faith into me, and having my back, it has been an incredible year, and even though we did not have any team success, I am looking forward to a bright future with the Butchers organization.

With the eight pick of the tenth round, the Liberty would select Alexander Hamilton II, who would immediately go back to the Pythons. Gathering no stats and not increasing the tpe amount at all, it is fair to say that he is an inactive, and may never be coming back.
Grade: D-

Le Kick would end up retiring before the season would even start, making this pick useless for the Honolulu lmaofish.
Grade: F

The last active player form the Pythons that got drafted in S22, Pseudo QB would be drafted by the Otters with tenth pick in the twelvth round. Being sent to the Pythons to improve, he would be very effecient and accurate, making 22 of his 24 extra point attempts, and 15 of his 17 field goal attempts, with a long of 52 yards. He was also their punter for the year, averaging 42.3 yards per punt, with 58 yards as the longest and chipping 14 of his punts inside the opposing 20 yard line as of me writing.. Starting with 59 tpe, as of the time of writing, he has 141 tpe, an increase of 82. He is still active and stil working on becoming talented enough to make it to the NSFL, and he is looking like a very good late round choice.
Grade: A

The last Python still on any roster, Fernando Cruz was selected with the second pick in the fifteenth round by the Sailfish. Staying on the Pythons to keep playing, he would be released and picked up by the Birddogs, and would finish the year with 28 pancakes and 2 sacks allowed. He started with 57 tpe, he is inactive and has not gained any tpe. It would not surprise me to see him released by the Birddogs anytime soon.
Grade: D
And now, is a list of the rest of the S22 Pythons Draft class, everyone on this list is inactive and either a Free Agent or retired, they all recieve F's.

And that concludes the S22 Pythons draft class, I look forward to updating this list at the end of next season as well. I wish nothing but the best for all my former Python teammates.
