Honestly, from what I’ve heard about Chicago, and seen how they played last season, there is really only one way I could honestly hope we can go, and that is up. The Butchers were easily without a doubt the worst team in the league last season, and they needed to bring a lot of us up to be somewhat decent this season. I, Griff Oberwald, have made it my point to be the best run blocking Wide Receiver there is, and I think it has shown so far, that the Butchers have improved immensely. Hell, we won our first game already this season, in Week 2. We have 14 more games to go, and we are trending upwards. I believe in all of my teammates here, as they can see, and they believe in me as well. We are really looking to just make some sort of noise this season and going into Philadelphia and winning there shocked the world. The Chicago Butchers are here to make some noise and put the rest of the league on notice. The team is so young there is only one way to improve, and we do it day in and day out, In the weight room, the locker room, and on the field.

21-3. The greatest Ultimus ever. The greatest comeback in the history of the NSFL.

Ever since the clock hit zero on the S22 Ultimus, this is all that Tatsu Nakamura has been hearing. After failing to come up when he was needed for the second season in a row, Nakamura got straight to work on coming back with a vengeance in S23 and many of his younger teammates have joined him. Despite having Franklin Armstrong go through a second season of regression, the Orange County offense is ready to take it up a notch this season. Both Nakamura and teammate Jeffrey Phillips have been improving steadily since joining the team last season and have already been showing the fruits of that improvement after just two weeks. Alongside a still elite Franklin Armstrong, and returning pass-catching options Hugh Mongo and Future Trucks, the Otters are more potent and versatile than ever on offense.

On defense, the identity of the Otters continues to lie in what can and should only be described as the greatest position group of all time, the OCO secondary. Veteran DBs Korrin Abernathy, Tyrone Biggums, and Kacey Dream just keep getting better and better, while youngster Prince Vegeta stands alongside AJ Lattimer, who's on their final season, to lock down opposing offenses, whether they try to test them in the air or play it safe and rely on the ground game. Taking one look at the OCO roster and how both the Otter's offense and defense have performed in the first two weeks should lead everyone to recognize them as the Ultimus favorite once again.

Agent Tesla here to fulfill this point task on behalf of my client Magnus Rikiya of the New Orleans Second Line. Magnus would love to be able to contribute here, but I am in the mood to write this as my metafictional agent self. It will make things much easier for me to just write this up as myself and so that is what I am going to do here.

The New Orleans Second Line is in a superb situation overall I would say thanks to how well the general managers have managed some recent changes. After last season where we had to start too many rookies arguably; we are in a much better position this season as we only have a few rookies that have to start. Overall the team is fifth in terms of total training points earned, third in their conference, second in terms of average training points earned, and first in their conference. Only one position can be argued to be a true weakness of the team I would say and given the surrounding cast of that position I do not think it will hamper the team too much.

The backbone of this team is still the run game with Givussafare Rubbe the second highest TPE offensive line player, Marcella T?riki the second highest TPE running back, and Forrest Gump the fifth highest TPE running back. Those three will guarantee that the team will be able to run reliably throughout the season sim allowing of course. Combine those three with the highest training points earned tight end Austin McCormick and even with some hits to the offensive side I trust them to be able to keep it going into the playoffs.

Defensively the team can rely on David Rector the fourth highest TPE cornerback, Mason Blaylock the second highest TPE safety, and Quenton Bode the fifth highest TPE linebacker. Rector and Blaylock have already made their presences known this season based on what I have seen of the box scores. Bode meanwhile may not make an impact in the sense of their own statistical glory, but they are a centerpiece of the dynamic defense of the New Orleans Second Line.

Those are the elites of the team, but they still have solid contributors in the aging Stan Francisco, Ben Tu’inukuafe, and Brave Ulysses. They also have the superstar on the rise Xavien Adams who should prove to be superb as the second outside corner opposite Rector. Along with some incredible young talent in the forms of their number one receiver Ed Barker, defensive tackle Magnus Rikiya, cornerback Andrew Witten, offensive line Dorfus Jimbo Jr, safety LiterallyJust A. Hexagon, linebacker Ugarth the Dissector, and defensive tackle Hank Steel. Along with a few more young contributors like Herbert Prohaska, Rainier Wolfcastle, and Blake Alexander. Overall the team is well situated and has a number of people who should be able to contribute this season whether by virtue of their talent coming out of the gate, or by virtue of their projected growth.

This team is coming off a first round exit from the playoffs last season and so I would say playoffs are the expectation for the season once again. Orange County and Austin are two of the top five teams in the league and are going to be a tough challenge to overcome to make it. Those two are the big threats to New Orleans making it to the Ultimus I would say, however that is not to undersell Arizona, San Jose, or Honolulu. There is no team in the ASFC that will be a pushover or an easy out I would say, however I have trust in the management of the New Orleans Second Line to make a potent playoff push.

Marcella is in a good position as she takes over the number one back position and running behind the great offensive lineman Givussafare Rubbe who is also an awards candidate means she should have a shot at awards. Austin McCormick has moved to play next to the line as the rules now require of a tight end and as such could repeat as tight end of the year. Mason Blaylock is also coming off a phenomenal year and I would not be surprised to see him repeat as safety of the year. David Rector could easily get an award coming off their breakout performance last year, and their new partner on the outside Xavien Adams will have a good shot at getting some more recognition thanks to that move outside. Then of course the defensive rookie of the year last season and the most valuable player in my extremely biased opinion Ugarth The Dissector cannot repeat as rookie of the year, but would not surprise me at all to see them win defensive player of the year.

Top to bottom the team looks to compete for the playoffs, and quite possibly could make another Ultimus appearance. Though at the end of the day I am just happy that my client gets to play with all of them and I look forward to seeing what they can do regardless of where they end up. Thank you for your time!

As always the Otters are well situated to be competitive Ultimus contenders. We are graced by having Franklin Armstrong enter another season with more than 1000 TPE. It takes a lot of work to stay above 1000 TPE after hitting two regression off seasons. Having a 1000+ TPE quarterback makes things a lot simpler to be Ultimus contenders, but we have a lot of other talent that will help us make it back to the Ultimus and come home with a title. The Otters are well rounded and have active players at most positions. The greatest weak point for us are our edge rushers who had limited to no activity in the past couple of seasons. Thankfully we picked up Thorian Skarsgard last season. This puts us with three defensive ends and allows us to put one of them at the edge. Both Rapid Eagle and Big Edd have chosen archetypes with 80 speed which would allow either one of them to move to the edge and be competitive. We also were able to pick up Inspectah Deck in free agency in the offseason. I am not entirely sure how we can utilize 3 linebackers, but this allows us to run a 4-3 set and perhaps provide us an edge against rush heavy teams.

After finishing the season with a league worst record of 1-12 last season, there's really no where for the Butchers to go but you this season. The team has gone through a major overhaul during the off-season with multiple players being called up including a key piece to our future in quarterback George O'Donnell. Additionally we added free agents Tree Gelbman and Tyler Oles Jr, as well as stud defensive lineman Mario VonPebbles in a trade with Philadelphia. We've even bolstered our offensive line with linebackers Perry Tucker Jr and Benson Bayley Jr switching positions.

We've already matched our win total from last season through two weeks so certainly we'll end up better than last year but expectations are still low. Despite so many additions, the team aside from a couple players is still very young. I don't think we're a lock to finish in last place as so many have predicted but I definitely don't see us vying for a playoff spot. I think one more season of development will see the team in really good shape, especially on defense. In the meantime, the locker room has been an active place of great discussion. We've been having fun and at the end of the day that's what's important; the wins will start coming.

The Philadelphia Liberty have many key contributors coming into the season. Some players in their primes, some on the back half of their careers, and some who are just starting out. The biggest contributors who will make or break the season is on the offensive side. Brock Phoenix is finally entering his prime and should be poised to lead the offense with a breakout season. The young quarterback has had years to grow in the league with a steady cast of weapons around him that have only improved as he has. Nacho Varga is entering the twilight years of his career but still holds the mantle for the best wide receiver on the roster and looks to go back to having a 1000 yard season especially with the new 16 game schedule. Vuxta is entering his prime and will look to follow up his breakout season with his first career 1000 yard season and hopefully a pro bowl as well. The young Panda may be the 3rd receiver but as a starter in the slot and steady improvements could have a huge year in the offense as the team looks to make a splash this season. The new dual threat Tight Ends of veteran Blocksdale and rookie Arrabiata round out the impressive pass catching group and look to dominate for years to come. In the running game we have the future Hall of Famer Torenson fully prepared to show the league why hes one of the greatest rushers around as well as the change of pace back Fuzzy Dotson who's only improved every season. To help with the run game Philly has called up their first active offensive lineman in years in the Canadian Pancake Machine Simon Tremblay who will take over as a rookie and be the leader on the line.
