What are your plans regarding duplicates? Will we be able to trade them/sell them in order to get more cards?

We are trying to imitate a real life trading cards experience, which duplicates are certainly a part of. Selling cards will almost certainly not be allowed but we are hoping to eventually implement trading.

Super excited for this project!  I think it's going to bring a whole new element of fun to the league.

I'm curious if / how users will be able to trade card(s) between themselves.  Or is purchasing card packs the only way to acquire new cards?

We're still working on the trading aspect. We hope eventually allow trades

Buy? No. Sell? No. Those go against league policy for player to player transactions. We do hope to implement trading in the future though.

Has selling the cards back to Dotts/the league been discussed at all? Trading cards with each other is obviously much more fun and more social but as a stopgap or an alternative (e.g. if you can’t find a trade partner for your duplicate common cards) selling cards back to the house (at a reduced rate so it’s not viable to buy packs and sell them back to the house en masse to make money) seems worth considering.

The idea of a quick-sell has been discussed a few times but has not gained much traction with our team. There are two primary reasons for this: trading is more fun and social as you mentioned, and honestly, we're trying to take money out of the economy, not put any back in!

I get that. Personally, knowing that if you do get duplicates you can sell them back to the house and use that money to buy more packs so that you can get new cards would make me more likely to buy them.
