Hello again, I know I only managed to finish round one of the upcoming draft yesterday, but I under estimated how long it would actually take to go through each person.
So today, I'll try to get through rounds two and three of the upcoming draft. Again in this I will not be listing the teams, as I do not know the draft order of the teams yet. So this is more of a big board of my rankings of prospects, while taking in to account some historical evidence of what positions go where. As always, if you do not like my rankings, take them up with mith.
Round Two Pick One : Tayshawn Crunk (London Royals) Safety
Starting off the second round just like the first round with of course the defense. Every body loves the defensive players. I guess we do need both sides in order to actually play a game. He is a solid TPE earner, on par with the end of the first round guys with 201, but some body had to be bumped out of the first round and it just happened to be him because I think corner back get's a slightly higher priority. His stats after yesterdays games are thirty six tackles, one for a loss, one sack, three picks and five pass disruptions. Good stats for a rookie who mostly plays the free safety position. Active and a high earner on defense means if he stays with it, will be a good pick for whoever grabs him here.
Round Two Pick Two : Djibutee McJimmerson (Myrtle Beach Buccaneers) Tight End
Seems high earning tight ends go pretty early. I guess there are never enough good ones for the pros, so grab all you can and hope a couple work out well for you. He is right below the 200 mark of TPE with 198, so he will easily reach 200 by next update. This puts him as the second over all tight end off the board and the next one below him is around 159 TPE, so there is a big drop off from the second best to the third best. Pretty easy to see why I have him as high as I do. His stats are eighteen catches for 108 yards and three touchdowns with nineteen pancakes. So definitely not afraid to get in there and throw some blocks and seems to have gotten some chemistry with his quarter back in the end zone, with three of his eighteen catches being touchdowns. Solid pick, some body grab him.
Round Two Pick Three : Peter Patterson (Kansas City Coyotes) Corner Back
Finally a Coyote gets taken! At the time of the last update of the tracker he is their highest earning player with 199, just one off of 200. Good earner and I am assuming very active over all. It seems there is a decent number of quality choices at corner back in this draft, which you could argue makes them less valuable, but I actually think with the two expansion teams it will mean more teams take them early to make sure they end up with one. His stats are forty five tackles with three picks and nine pass disruptions, really good stats for a rookie corner. Another good pick by whichever team still needs a corner in the early second round.
Round Two Pick Four : Jameson Vermillion (Minnesota Grey Ducks) Running Back
And our second running back gets drafted at pick number 18 overall. This is a very good pick. Some body out there needs a quality running back who is willing to put the time and effort in to getting those skills up. He had 198 TPE as of the last update, so he should easily be over 200 by next weeks games. Currently the number four rusher in yards with 157 attempts and 854 yards. With a long of 89 yards, he can break them for super long gains with ease, also adding four touchdowns to his ground stats. He is not much of a passing back with only five catches on the season. Some pro team will be happy with this pick once he gets called up and can show what he is capable of.
Round Two Pick Five : Darren Pama (Portland Pythons) Running Back
With the second running back being drafted one pick earlier, some team scrambles to go get their guy before they miss out, trade potential here. This back actually has the same over all TPE as our boy verm one pick ago at 198, just a tiny update away from the coveted 200. Another active, high potential TPE earner here. He has 154 carries producing 587 yards on the ground sharing the back field with another rookie. He also added four touchdowns on the ground, and added a whopping seven catches in the air, so not a pass catching back at this point in his career. More than likely a great pick at this point.
Round Two Pick Six : Mark Callous (Dallas Birddogs) Wide Receiver
What, four offensive picks in a row!!!!! Yes, it could happen, don't worry defense will come back soon enough. But there are limited number of certain skill position players who are also top tier earners, and this guy is one of a few wide outs earning near max. He is also one of the top rookie receivers by the numbers, he had 200 TPE as of the last update and has managed thirty catches for 348 yards with a long twenty eight yards. The biggest knock on his game is his utter lack of touchdown catches. I am sure he will find the end zone at some point. But an active, high earning receiver will go somewhere in this draft.
Round Two Pick Seven : James Gath (Minnesota Grey Ducks) Corner Back
Back to the defensive side of the ball with yet another highly rated defensive back going. Yet another guy just a baby step away from that mythical 200 mark of TPE with 198. So by next update should easily clear that and be closing in on being maxed out before next season starts(at least the DSFL max). His stats as of today are twenty five tackles and five pass disruptions, nothing special, but I am not sure what his depth chart position is, so it is possible he is not on the field for every play. But as I have said, people want active, high earning defensive backs.
Round Two Pick Eight : L’Gazzy Burfict (London Royals) Line Backer
Back at it, there a few line backers all lumped in the same area with similar TPE and activity, I think this one stand slightly ahead of the other two. He is sitting at 196 TPE, so yet another one who should break 200 by next update. He has solid in game stats with forty nine tackles, one for a loss and three sacks and one pass break up. Solid player, I know he has made some media somewhere in the forums, I feel like it was a decent piece, hard to remember as it is friday already. As long as he keeps it up, should make some team very happy with a mid round two pick.
Round Two Pick Nine : Gary Goodman (Kansas City Coyotes) Line Backer
A second line backer in a row? Yea, some times position runs happen, one team takes one and the next team or two panics and grabs the next available guy. Well, the good news is these two line backers are almost the same in activity level. He had 195 TPE as of last update putting him one point ahead of the next one and one whole point behind Burfict. His in game stats are very good for a rookie with seventy tackles with two for a loss and one sack, but he also managed two picks and five pass disrupts. A monster on the field, but how will that translate to the next level?
Round Two Pick Ten : Rusty Rucker (Norfolk Seawolves) Line Backer
Oh dang, a third one in a row? Is there going to be a world wide shortage of line backers! Hurry every one jump and grab the next best one you can find!!! Oh wait, this guy is comparable to the two above, so not like they are doing anything wrong by selecting him here. Almost identical TPE to the two ahead of him with 194. Definitely active enough on that end, and I assume he will be a staple for many seasons going forwards. In game stats are good with sixty tackles, four for a loss and two sacks with two pass disruptions. Good pick for some body!
Round Two Pick Eleven : Killian Chambers (Minnesota Grey Ducks) Wide Receiver
Another great player who slipped because of his position. He is one tick below the 200 mark with 199 TPE, definitely active and one of the top receivers by in game stats. I'm not sure he will actually go this high because of his position, but it could happen with the two new teams clambering for all positions to be filled. In game stats are twenty five catches for 298 yards with a long of twenty six yards and only the one lone touchdown. Definitely needs to find a way to get in to the end zone more to really help his stock out.
Round Two Pick Twelve : Adom Mellott (Tijuana Luchadores) Offensive Lineman
One of my favorite players in the draft. Top three in pancakes, top three in the locker room, top three at writing long quality articles(was only 12,500 words, no biggie). Over all this guy is super active, good to hang out with in the locker room and BS with. I can't think of a single team that would not be happy with this guy. He was sitting at 194 TPE as of last update, so easily over 200 by now, with his in game stats being forty pancakes(second place) and only allowed one sack during the whole season so far. Again can not go wrong here. Some body will grab this guy.
Round Two Pick Thirteen : Felix Archstone (Kansas City Coyotes) Offensive Lineman
Not sure how this big boy fell this far, but again with a mini run of one position going so someone else grabs the next one. He has higher TPE than Mellott, but I don't know anything else about this guy, so I am assuming he fell due to character issues, or maybe he has some off the field concerns. On the field, he has twenty five pancakes and has given up two sacks so far, nothing amazing, but not bad either. We shall see how well he transitions to the next level. If he keeps it up, he could be an incredible value at this spot with 197 TPE.
Round Two Pick Fourteen : Vance Slattery (Tijuana Luchadores) Defensive Tackle
Another great guy in the locker room and on the field. Who doesn't want a quality defensive lineman to destroy opposing quarter backs? I know I do. He is currently rocking 191 TPE, so should be over 200 by next weeks games. Also he loves Guy Fieri! His in game stats are twenty four tackles with three for a loss and two sacks. Solid stats for a rookie on a team with tons of play makers, hard to really stand out on stat pages on this team. But a good guy any team should be happy to pick up and send hunting after opposing offenses.
Round Three Pick One : Jimi DeSoto (Norfold Seawolves) Line Backer
Here we go, starting off with another linebacker. He has 191 TPE, so right there near 200. Appears to be quite active at this point, no reason he should not go somewhere end of round two or early round three. In game stats of fifty tackles, one for a loss and one sack with two picks and three disrupts and even a touchdown. Solid play throughout, going to some happy team after the draft.
Round Three Pick Two : Chuck Roth (Portlan Pythons) Offensive Lineman
Here we have another high earning lineman going late second, early third round. You can't go wrong with a good earning human player. Currently sitting at 192 TPE, so another play who should be above the 200 mark soon. On the field he has forty pancakes, which puts him tied for second and has only given up two sacks so far. Hard to find any faults in his game.
Round Three Pick Three : Richard Leaking (Dallas Birddogs) Line Backer
Here we ago again, the 100th line backer off the board, just kidding, but seriously there are a lot of good choices at line backer. He is sitting at 191 TPE, so again should be over 200 by next week. He appears to be active and is obviously a high earner, so should be a solid pickup. On the field he has sixty six tackles with one for loss and five sacks and seven pass break ups. Great player on the field, should be a fine addition anywhere.
Round Three Pick Four : Swantavius Jones (London Royals) Corner Back
More defense, not exactly surprising any more though. But for real another high TPE quality defensive back going early in the third is not that surprising to any one I know. He has 191 TPE, so right at the cusp of 200 and the leading tackler as a corner back with fifty six and two forced fumbles and two recoveries as well. Add that to his one sack, one pick and four pass disruptions and he is a monster on the field. Definitely going to transition well to the next level.
Round Three Pick Five : NationalSimulation FootballLeague (Tijuana Luchadores) Safety
What can I say about a guy with a name like this. Winner winner chicken dinner. At least that is my thoughts on his name. Great name, better player. A top tier earner, only a little behind the true top guys. Active, going to contribute at the next level for sure. On the field, he has forty four tackles with four sacks, one pick and two pass disruptions. Some body draft this man and pay him his money!
Round Three Pick Six : Owen Holloway (Myrtle Beach Buccaneers) Quarter Back
Honestly, I could see this guy going higher, but I don't truly know how his position is treated. He is a high earner and he knew how to put his stats in as he is a rushing monster at quarter back. He has 186 TPE, so could very well have over 200 by next week, putting him close to the DSFL max. On the field he has produced 706 yards passing with six touchdowns and seven picks through the air, on the ground 559 yards on 64 carries with another six touchdowns and a long of 87 yards! He is going to get picked somewhere.
Round Three Pick Seven : Jake Fencik (London Royals) Kicker / Punter
Hey, kickers are people too, and teams need them. So here is the first one off the board at pick 35? He is a great earner with 185 TPE as of last weekend, trending in the right direction, should get picked up, maybe before this as some team is bound to need one. Curretly 23 for 23 oin extra points and sixteen of eighteen on field goals. Really good stats with a long of forty seven yards, also adding ten punts inside the twenty yard line and a long of fifty eight yards.
Round Three Pick Eight : Lionel Rumper (Dallas Birddogs) Safety
Yep, another highly rated safety going in the first three rounds. Another day, another safety gonna get drafted on draft day. Solid pick of a guy I really don't know. 187 TPE from the last update, must be active and prolly a good dude in the locker room. Going to make some lovely young woman/man a very happy wife.
All right, well that is the end of my typing time for today. I will put out a newer list with less words about each one, but also with more players so those guys who are going in the fourth and fifth round, like myself, can actually see our names somewher on this list.
Anyways, later.
