Funds for Phantom

Hey everyone, I didn't know where else to post so it ended up here. I normally don't do things like this, I honestly hate asking for help from people. I had to take my one year old cat to the emergency room tonight when he stopped eating, drinking, playing and purring. He didn't even want to move from one spot. Eventually he started crying, like meowing in a way you could actually hear the pain. When we got him to the vet we found out that he had a urinary tract obstruction similar to a kidney stone. They had to anesthetize him, insert a catheter and now they are holding him for three days. Between anesthesia, medication, x-rays, and just holding him for that time the estimate we have been given is around $3,200. Money was already tight, this is a backbreaker. But he'll go into kidney failure without it. We already started treatment and have no idea how we are going to pay for all of it. 

I don't like asking for help but I don't really have much of a choice. I don't expect your help and I don't blame anyone that chooses not to. I'm sure that a lot of people couldn't afford to if they wanted to and a lot of people wouldn't want to if they can afford to. That being said if anyone does choose to help you have my sincerest gratitude. This is the sweetest animal and he doesn't deserve to go through all this.

I just want to say thank you again to everyone for being so supportive with this, I wanted to give a quick update on Phantom's situation. He had his catheter removed two days ago and his kidney values have dropped back to normal. He was supposed to come home yesterday but was unable to because he still isn't peeing on his own and there is still blood in his urine. I am hoping that he can come home today but they aren't sure yet. As of right now we are really close to being able to cover all of his expenses thanks to the wonderful response I have received from all of you!
