My team the Dallas Birddogs is still in the playoffs hunt even if we currently have the second worst record. We need to win the last two games and Tijuana to lose both of their games so we would be tied for second. The tiebreaker would go to PF and we currently have the lead and I believe we would keep the lead if we win. I believe we have a chance to win our games. Week 13 will be against Pythons in Portland. I think they are favored to win because they won more games but recently we played better than them. They lost their game against the Ducks but were able to beat them and Ducks are ahead of the Pythons. So if we are good enough to beat the Ducks I believe we have a good chance to win against Portland. Our last we will be in Norfolk. The Seawolves have the worst record right now and we already defeated them midseason. I think we are going to win because we are a better team and we are a lot more motivated because we need the win while they are already out of the hunt. Tijuana will have to play the Coyotes and the Buccaneers. Both games are away and they lost to them early in the season at home. I think they will be beaten easily.

With the season wrapping up this week, the New Orleans Second Line are sadly out of playoff contention standing at 6-9 (nice) and tied for 5th in the ASFC. Things easily could’ve gone differently for NOLA this season, suffering difficult losses to the New York Silverbacks (3-12) in Week 12 and the Austin Copperheads (6-9) in Week 6. The team is also coming off a heartbreaking Week 15 loss to the Arizona Outlaws which saw NOLA lose on Arizona’s last drive of the game, letting up a touchdown to go down 24-23. Even winning just two of those games would’ve put NOLA at 8-7 with a shot to win the last game of the season and potentially get a playoff spot.
NOLA was abysmal on the road this year, going 0-7. That is clearly one area the team needs to focus on for next season, although it is a nebulous area to work on. Potentially pumping in more crowd noise during practice, or travelling earlier in the week to opponents with colder weather could be the difference maker in those games. Otherwise, NOLA needs to work on getting more pressure on the QB – the team had a league low 36 sacks through 15 games. The team also needs to be better at finishing drives and converting long drives into touchdowns, with only 31 offensive TDs in 15 games so far this season. ![]() LeBong's first ISFL Sack ![]()
With two games left in the season, the Tijuana Luchadores hold their playoff destiny in their own hands. With one more win in either of these games, or a loss from the Dallas Birddogs, the team from Mexico will be making an appearance in the S25 DSFL playoffs. In the playoffs, Tijuana will most likely be the underdog in any match up they are in. This will mean that they will be the visiting team in the match up. This would be an issue for some teams, but this season Tijuana has been the better team away from home. With a 3-2 record as the visitors so far this season, they will bring this road warrior confidence with them into the playoffs and will be a tough matchup up for any team they face. First thing is first though, tonight they will go up against the Kansas City Coyotes, the #2 team in the NFC North and their final game will be against the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers, the top team in the SFC South. They know it will not be easy, but they are confident that they can make this seasons playoffs and bring their road warrior mentality with them. So keep your eye out for the Luchadores, they are hungry and are ready to show the league what they can do! Let’s go Luchadores!!!

Mario Messi and Pythons - Pythons won six games and lost the other six, and it is ranked as the fourth in the NFC North division. Our way towards the playoffs seems very difficult, given only two games are left. The Coyotes is ranked as the second with a record of (7, 5), so for Pythons to make into the playoffs, we need to win the two remaining games and expect both Coyotes and Ducks to lose at least one game. It is quite tough for us to beat London in an away game. We can only try our best and wish for good luck at this moment.
Pythons have decent offense and defense. We got 231 points, ranked as the third-highest in the league, and lost 179 points, ranked as the third-lowest. Based on our PFs and PAs, it seems unfair that we cannot make the playoffs. As to individual players, Mario Messi (WR) did well so far with the second-highest yards and the highest receiving. Other positions (QB, RB, etc.) also delivered good stats. Then what contributes to the currently difficult position of Pythons? It is BAD LUCK! We unfortunately lost several tough games with small margins: L27-17 to Ducks, L20-18 to Buccaneers, L21-16 to Seawolves, and L13-10 to Luchadores. Those games were extremely close. Second, we are unlucky to be positioned in a very competitive division. The (6,6) record of Pythons is the fourth in NFC North, but it can be ranked as the second in SFC South (255 Words).
You really asking me about playoffs because I'll tell you as it sits right now the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers are going to go deep in the playoffs and if you're asking me honestly I don't see why we can't win the championship this year I've only been on the roster for about a week now and all I've seen since I came here is a team that is focused and ready to win and that started on Tuesday when we nuked The Dalles bird dogs off the face of the Earth 34 to 6. right now we've got the best record in the sfc south we're nine and three we scored 242 points which is the most in the division and we've only given up 207 points this season which is not the least amounts in the division but it is the second least and as it sits right now we are the only team in the division with a positive Point differential I don't see how there is any team in the dsfl that has a chance to even come close to sniffing how good we are and if you think that any team has a chance to even compete with us then you probably should go to the doctor and get your head checked because the way I see it they might as well just stop the season and go ahead and hand the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers the trophy and just start looking forward to next season

Having already locked up the battle for the number one seed in the ASFC, the Orange County Otters have one last potential fight on their hands before playoff action begins next week: the fight for the regular season championship. At 11-4, the Otters are one game back from the 12-3 Colorado Yeti of the NSFC in this fight. With one game remaining and both of these teams on the road in week 16, this fight is still either team's to claim victory in. The Yeti certainly have a clear advantage having the one win over OCO though, critically, the Otters hold a 15-point lead in points scored on the season. Thus, if OCO can take home the road game against the Austin Copperheads while the Yeti fall to the Liberty in Philadelphia, they will find themselves tied in overall record and conference record with Colorado with no head-to-head matchups this season between the two teams to break the tie either. That would force the standings to the points for tiebreaker, which I pointed out earlier OCO only needs to keep at least a -14 point delta between them and Colorado. All said however, I find it less likely for Colorado to lose to Philadelphia than I do for OCO to defeat Austin, so we'll definitely need the stars to align in our favor to gain the upper hand in the match that all fans of great football teams should be looking forward to: a Colorado vs Orange County Ultimus. The teams haven't met this season and have shown themselves to be the favorites in their conference by a good margin, so it truly feels like the matchup has been destined to happen all season.

The San Jose Sabercats are poised to defend their title of ultimus champions, though they'll have to go through a great Orange County team to even make the championship game. The sabercats are once again led by one of the best defenses in the league, though they're prone to give up huge gains through the air every now and then, meaning they give up more points than you'd expect from a top tier defense. Another downside you could point out is that they don't really force many turnovers, but that could be explained by a cornerback group that's still really young. On offense, they are one of the best rushing offenses in the league, led by Jamar Lackson, which might explain why they have one of the worst passing offenses in the league, with only one receiver in the top 20 in receiving yards and touchdowns, though they do a good job of maintaining possession and limiting turnovers.
San Jose should be expected to force teams to pass by shutting down the run game, while hopping they can hold the big plays to a minimum, while the opposite is true on offense, where they should be expected to run their offense through Jamar Lackson, with Monty Jack making some plays on his legs as well, whilst also making safe throws to keep offensive drives alive. ![]()
This year so far the Yellowknife Wraiths are 6 – 9 for the season. Despite only having 6 wins the majority of the games came down to one possession type of games where a field goal would win it. These nail biting games are always fun to watch but always sucks to be on the losing end of it especially when the outcome was so close in your favor. There were only two games that come to mind that the Wraiths were completely blown out in the sense of it being more of a two possession game rather than one. Coming up on Friday is the last game the Wraiths will play for the season and the hope is to come away with a win even if we do not make it to the playoffs. This team being one of the younger teams now did a hell of a job especially after having cooter retire two years ago. Jack is doing work and will continue to do better year after year there is nothing to stop him. The defense will have to be better next year, as we gave up many points and made it difficult on the offense having to constantly catch up to the points the defense allowed to score. Next year we have the draft to look forward to and the hope is to bolster the defense to get it to the caliber it once was when the Yellowknife Wraiths took the Ultimus home back a couple years ago.
