Welcome to Dogwood Confidential!  I asked various members of the league to give me their thoughts about players, other teams, and the league in general.  

Some notes before we get started:

• I will take my sources with me to the grave. Don't bother asking. I'm not giving out any information other than it's a mix of DSFL and ISFL players.
  
• Not every person answered every question.  I had two people answer as few as two questions and there were people who answered every single one.
  
• I rearranged the responses so that the third answer to #1 isn't necessarily the same person as the third answer to #2.
  
• Other than minor stylistic/formatting/spelling fixes, I did not change a single letter of any of the responses with one big exception: if an answer potentially gave away too much information about that respondent's identity, I edited it.  A good example would be if someone said "Norfolk is the best locker room because they drafted me" or "as a safety, I wish I switched to offensive line".  Anonymity was my main concern.
  

1. Who is the best franchise in ISFL and DSFL and why?
"ISFL: OCO. Haven't missed the playoffs in 20 something seasons. DSFL: Tough to say, but London has been great for the past 3 seasons."

"Colorado and London.  Both have really strong networks that attract successful users. As long as they keep those going they’ll have consistently good draft classes/FA classes."

"ISFL - Sarasota, they have a great culture and for only being around a few seasons have built a great team. DSFL - London, great culture, great LR and they win."

"OCO. Consistent championship victories, low GM turnover, no scandals/drama, fun environment. Dallas. Most immediate callups in the last 3 seasons, plus a tight knit locker room."

"I'd say Colorado for ISFL and either MB or Minnesota for DSFL"

"Best franchise in the ISFL depends how long you want to look into, probably most consistent which i would have to say is the Yeti. DSFl, same thing, most consistent team I would say is Tijuana."

"Certain franchises ruin certain players. I feel Colorado is adding too many people and rookies aren’t going to enjoy having to wait for so long as well as prioritizing GM players in some spots to the point that it’s a head scratcher they had a 1000 TPE tight end not doing well but then a rookie TE comes in and is the first tight end in a while that they have had do really well."

There is no glory in offensive line outside of being able to know that you can physically abuse another human being for money."

But of course good users have players that suck and bad users sometime random make pro bowls every year cause of Sim Luck so who knows, I just see big things for some of those guys and also there are a lot of names who are super active that I have never talk to or can’t remember right now"
