What's different for Osiris this off-season is definitely maturity. Coming into the end of his second contract and only a few seasons away from regression, he's in a spot where even a full off-season of training and fully stocking up on new equipment makes only a marginal difference for him on the field. But you can see his experience, his leadership and of course his pro bowl level talent make a difference not just for himself but for the rest of the team as well. Players on the team know that they can trust him and opponents know that they always have to worry about him. As the Butchers really come into their own as one of the favorites in the NSFC for maybe the first time in their history, that cohesion and maturity across the board is what sets the team apart from in previous years. These players have all had multiple seasons together, the coaching staff has been consistent for many seasons and the team is seeing success including winning a playoff game last season. The Butchers have evolved rapidly over the last 5 seasons since being at the bottom of the league in about every way possible but the winds of change have been blowing in the windy city for a while now and this season it should really start to show.

Season 26 will be a tough season to judge for the Sarasota Sailfish after they went 11-5 the season before. The reason for it being a tough one to judge is due to the change at quarterback. The Sailfish lost veteran Dexter Banks III to retirement and now bring up the rookie Mike Boss Jr. Anytime you transition to a rookie quarterback there is going to be some uncertainty. The good thing here is that Mike Boss Jr. is the son of ISFL legend, and who most people consider the greatest quarterback of all time in the ISFL. Does that mean Boss Jr. will automatically take up that mantle and run with it like his father did? Absolutely not, but the bloodline is there and he is coming from an amazing football family. Not only do they have a rookie quarterback but they also turn to second year wide receiver Tre'Darius J'Vathon to line up opposite Michael Witheblock. After a rough season in Honolulu where he was hardly used he will get his chance to make an impact on the offense. Outside of players from within the organization the Sailfish made a big move on the defensive side of the ball by signing veteran linebacker Derred de Deville. The Sailfish were lacking a bit on the defensive side of the ball last season so adding Deville to incumbent linebacker Haha Mango-Panda is going to give them a huge boost to pick up some slack if there is any dropoff in the offensive production this year compared to last. Overall the Sailsifh are pretty similar to last season's roster but a couple major changes that will have a lot of impact on how successful of a season they have in season 26.

This seasons the ducks didnt regressed, in fact they gotten stronge, faster and more talented. The ducks really nailed this draft making this roster overall a better team then there last team and I will tell you why. First our offense approved. With fresh new weapons like the wr/rb hybrid who im Madison hayes who gives Ryan negs more options. Newly drafted WR Mike hunt, A 6'4 and 230lbs physique WR who gives the team a rise when they are in the end zone paired with other fellow draftees Bobby Tarantino the offense is just going to be unstoppable in the endzone. We may lost some veterans, but the rookies will step up immediately and help the team. Also negs is way better then last season, our offense is just going to be raw. And how about that defense though? With veterans like Sloan, chainbreaker, gleel and gath looking way better then they ever looked, we also got some new talented defensive talent like Mike Wallace and John price. Also the ducks still have the punter of the year, leg stronger then ever om the team. Ready to make some clutch punts and some bug boy feild goals! The ducks will go to the ultimini!

Season 26 finds Otis Allen in a position that he has long dreamed about, but has only just come to realize: becoming the most physically talented defensive tackle in the league. In meta terms I’m referring to Otis having the most TPE of any DT in the league. While this has been a long time coming and has only happened with the regression of future hall of famer Bubba Thumper, this will hopefully signal a turning point in the career of Otis. Allen has never quite had the stats of other star defensive tackles. For quite a while this was a frustration of mine. But only this last year I’d come to learn that my statistics weren’t quite as they seemed. The primary reasoning for my low stats was my low snap count in comparison to other tackles. At the end of the last season I had something like 400 fewer plays played than other tackles who were being nominated for awards. Knowing this, coupled with the championships that I’ve been able to accrue during the front half of my career, I have been able to become more content with where I’m at as a player. Maybe later I’ll chase individual awards, but for know I am very happy with where I’m at and the role I’m playing on the team.

This season marks a huge transition for the Colorado Yeti. Our star quarterback Wolfie McDummy retired this past offseason, and moved on to a wonderful little farm in upstate New York where they have large apple orchards for him to roam through. Following his departure, our new young up and coming Quarterback, Mattathias Caliban, who has been playing for the Dallas Birddogs the past several seasons is ready to make his debut on the big stage this season. The former second round pick has big shoes to fill, but we here in Colorado are confident in his ability to perform in big games and under pressure. Certainly it will take some time, but in Colorado we have very strong skill position players in place to make him successful from the get go. The marketing team with the Yeti has been having some fun with the arrival of Caliban to the team, deeming it “The year of the Pig” here in Colorado.

On the other side of the football we here in Colorado are excited to welcome two new faces as well. Redbeard McFredbeard is set to make his ISFL debut after only spending one season down in the DSFL. Likewise, NationalSimulation FootballLeague is making his debut for the team at nickelback this season, and has to be considered as an early favorite for the Defensive Rookie of the Year award here with the Yeti.
