The WFC is a fun new idea that has sparked a lot of conversation recently. Many of us, though, are wondering whether or not we will make a roster for our home city, and need some vital information about all the teams before we choose whether or not to reclassify. Here is that vital information. (NOTE: Players who do not make their initial roster may be loaned out to other teams who need them.) I have created the best possible roster based on current TPE for every region. I will go through each roster and note the strongest positions for each, as well as the major weaknesses. I will also list the top "free agents" at each position that might consider reclassifying to make a different roster. By free agents, I simply mean players who will likely not make the WFC roster in their current region.

The APAC Region is clearly the weakest team, currently. A league average starter could easily make this roster at any position with one exception: wide receiver. This part of the world apparently produces great receivers. They have four of the very best players at the position in the entire league: William Lim, Kai Sakura, Taro Raimon, and Videl-San. Tsuyu Asui, who likely makes a roster in most other regions, cannot crack the lineup in this stacked region. Things are not all bad for APAC, though, who has the best RB in the league in Tatsu Nakamura, a pair of good OL, a couple good linebackers, and five-time Pro Bowl safety Sean Dawkins. If I was a quarterback who could not make a team in another region, I would be drooling at the opportunity to join up with this group of wide receivers. They're especially weak at QB, TE (they have none), and CB.

The ATMW Region is one of the most complete rosters in the league. They have the deepest pool of players to choose from, and do not really have any major weaknesses. They are insanely strong at tight end, and their region boasts 6 of the top 8 tight ends by TPE, leaving many ATMW TEs out in the cold. Their CB group is also strong, with three players over 1200 TPE, leaving Witten and Zbornak off the roster. Their so-called "weaknesses" are only in relation to the best position groups in the league. They are competent at every position group, but they do not have a strong QB room compared to some of the other heavy-hitters, and they lack depth on the offensive and defensive line.

As the current rosters stand, Canada will be battling APAC for seventh place. They just lack the depth of talent of the other rosters and have huge holes all over their roster. They will need to snag several free agents to round out their team. They look pretty good at running back, however, with Jamar Lackson and Busch Goose. Lackson and Goose have a decent group of blockers as well, including FB Bronko Mills and OL Mo Magic and Marc Hamel. Eugene Smoothie headlines a decent trio at safety. Unlike APAC, they could likely make do with their current roster, since they (barely) have enough starter-level talent at each position to at least fill all the starting positions. In fact, I would say that this Canada team is pretty much an average ISFL roster, or at least the closest thing to it in the WFC.

Team Europe has some really nice strengths and a good roster as a whole, but they have a few glaring deficiencies. They have a nice QB duo, a really scaring looking front-seven, and the best kicker/punter pair in the league. However, they have major holes at wide receiver and in the secondary. Their nickelback spot is especially troublesome. They have a really great pair of outside CBs in Fieri and Lenkins, two adequate safeties, but their CB3, CB4, and S3 are all terrible and need immediate upgrades.

The SEUS Region looks like the strongest team in the league. Their two QBs alone have over 3000 combined TPE. They have by far the most dominant OL in the league headlined by Bob Roberts and Adam Mellott, and their defense will give people nightmares. I expect them to throw the ball a lot with their combination of top QB and WR talent, especially since they have a relatively weak running back group compared to other regions. SEUS fans ought to be worried, however, about their special teams group. They have been far the worst specialists in the WFC, with just a single player, Billy Doornob, at 67 TPE. If the SEUS do not improve at that position, they might see themselves losing games because of bad field position and missed kicks.
