The most improved player this season must be @everyday 's player Broadway. During season 01 he was the GM of the Hawks and so he made himself backup in a lot of situations to ensure that the other members of the team had enough playing time. Because of this he didn't have a lot of room to do a ton of work. This season however he has been the star linebacker for the Hawks, surpassing James Wright, and Stephen Harrison. Harrison actually has one more tackle than Broadway but as the MIKE of the team that's to be expected. Beyond that Broadway has 300% more sacks than Harrison, 1 more int, 3 more tackles for loss, 6 more passes defended, and infinitely more forced fumbles/fumbles recovered (Harrison has 0 while Broadway has one each). Broadway is behind one other linebacker in sacks, Harrif Ernston, while being close in many other categories to a player that may be in the running for MVP this year, and definitely in the running for defensive player of the year. Broadway's revived dedication to the team has really helped leverage this front seven into one of the best of the season, and has been a very large part of the Hawk's upcoming home playoff qualification.

I'm representing a safety player and that's the reason why I'll name another safety as the most improved player and that's not Hardrool. I'm talking about Dominic Verns from the Orange County Otters team. He's not the most hard working guy, but it didn't reflect on his stats. So let's look at his stats first.

Season 1: 64 tackles (including 1 for loss), 4 sacks, 2 picks and 3 broken passes +1 TD.

I can say he had a decent season. He never was voted into the TOP 50 player list, but he probably was close for it. However, it isn't even close to his S2 performance.

Season 2: 104 tackles (including 9 for loss), 12 sacks, 3 picks, 6 broken passes +1 TD.

Feel it? This is a helluva improvement, I'd say. He managed to improve his play on every defensive category (besides fumbles) and now it is the time he should be in the TOP 50 player list, otherwise it's going to be a snub against him. He's one of the reasons of OCO's solid defense - only Zona allowed less points and there are no doubts Dominic will try his best to stop their offense in a ''battle of the defense'' a.k.a. conference finals.

Oh come on. You even have to ask this question. "Who is the Most Improved Player in the NSFL?", I dunno, maybe the wide receiver who became the #1 QB in the league in just one season? I'd call that pretty fucking improved!

Last season wasn't a great season for me. being part of the managing team, I took one for the team and said I would be third wide receiver from the very beginning of practice to avoid any sort of camp battle. Obviously, as a result, Draxel didn't throw to me much, and i ended the season with just 400 yards receiving.

At the end of the season, around week 13, there began to be really glaring questions about Draxel's commitment to the team and to football. Instead of make a trade, the team went to me, a third string wide receiver who's main gift was gifted athleticism and extreme versatility. I got a few tryouts during games, and I did spectacular, even setting the playoff record for highest passer rating in some time in the Ultimus game.

Now look at me, I am leading the league in passing touchdowns and likely to make the NSFL top 50, after being just some unknown wideout from Baylor last year, thats what I call most improved.

The Most Improved award is a hard one to achieve, because it is tempered with expectations, if you were an UDFA and catch a pass for 10 yards, and then have a 10 catch season for 100 yards, even though its a huge increase (900% :o ) you still aren't likely in the running for said award. That being said This player really did his work this year and I think deserves the most improved award.

S2 47 Pancakes, 8 Sacks Allowed- 5.9:1 Short Stack Ratio, and that's just on the stats that show up on the book, he took on off the field responsibilities, and ran a (shortlived) graphic shoppe that was universally beloved! Coming from a s1 waiver player with not much expected of him, into quite possibly one of the pillars of the community (you know, one of those nice looking ones, not a lode bearing one...yet) who people can go to on discord, PM, post, and he always has something constructive to help people with. I think that in addition to his on the field improvement do more than enough to ensure Vincent Sharpei wins the s2 Most Improved Player Award
