"And with that, it is over! the Arizona Outlaws are league champions for the third straight year! What a heart breaker for the Hawks, failing to come away with the final win of the season for the second straight year."
Matthew Vincent walks over to the sidelines after the game and climbs into the stands. He drops his helmet right next to the row two bench and continues to strip off his gear. One cleat goes into section 110, the other into section 106. Gloves next and they are nonchalantly handed to a kid at the end of row 12. Jersey comes off, Vincent steals a sharpie behind a fans ear, signs right down the 1 on his jersey, balls it up, and chucks it over the balcony of the section gate, where a dog pile of fans pour over it. Vincent almost stumbles as he removes his socks and spikes them into the ground, almost being consumed by the now crowd following and taking pictures of his peculiar exit. shoulder pads come of and tossed to the side as Matthew makes it past the concession stands. Fans can now see black sharpie writing on Vincent's gold undershirt, but cant quite read it at the distance. He unbuckles his pants strips them down and steps out as he leaves them on the ground, once again fans try to get their hands on everything. Vincent walks out of the gate to the parking lot, a pitch black 1969 Camaro pulls up, and as it goes to a halt, Vincent lets out a roar as he rips his shirt from the front right off of him and drops it to the ground as he opens up the door to the Camaro, compression shorts, face black, and kinesiology tape the only things on his body, he looks back at the stadium, fireworks going off from the top of the stadium and roars still coming from within the stadium. A group of fans had followed, now staggered, not wanting to completely leave the stadium quite yet. Vincent stares at them for a long 2 seconds, turns, and slides into the Camaro, and slams the door shut. The speakers ramp up, and fans can hear Redbone coming from the car, ever so increasing in volume, as it slowly pulls away into the sunset, ever so fading by the distance.
One fan picks up the undershirt, reads it to herself and falls down to her knees and begins sobbing. The crowd splits for a large man coming down the middle, seeing as this is the moment the fans need, he walks up to the now audibly crying fan. Gordon Gecko, the Hawks GM, grabs the sweat-soaked shirt, ripped right through the middle of the hawks logo on the front. Seeing the fan in her condition even makes Gordon shed a tear, which he regrettably wipes with the under shirt. Squinting at the small print, he musters up the power, stands tall, inhales deeply and speaks in his resounding voice to the now much larger crowd:
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]"Today is the day I retire. Regardless of if we win or lose the Ultimus, I am proud of my accomplishments on the football field. To all of my teammates, from Brice Boggs at the University of Florida, to Stormblessed on the Outlaws, and Coop for the Hawks, as well as every other player that made a contribution to my career, Thank You. To Gordon Gecko, the man who saw talent and stuck with me even when I couldn't find the endzone and believed in the organization, I am sorry for leaving you and this wonderful organization, but for everything that you have done for me, Thank You. And to the fans, you are what carried me so far. Lining up on the field was not my calling, but for all of you, I could not refuse. I am sorry it has to end so soon, but I hope you understand.
For all of this, Thank You."
