Hello everyone! Professor Chaos here, GM of the San Jose SaberCats. As part of our 10th season celebration, we are proud to announce that we will launching our franchise's Hall of Fame.
Over the years, we've had a number of guys that have been integral to our success, but the players chosen for our inaugural class are no-brainers. Without further ado, let's get to it, shall we?
Our first inductee frankly shouldn't surprise anyone. The first player I ever selected, Vincent Sharpei, was the 4th overall pick in the S2 draft. With the league in general being in desperate need of offensive linemen, Sharpei became a huge part of our team right off the bat. To show just how much he meant to me, and the team as a whole, Mr. Sharpei was named my co-GM after just a season with the team & remained in that position for the better part of 5 seasons (a record for a single GM tandem) until being traded to New Orleans in S7. On the field, his numbers were just as impressive, if not more so. In 2 seasons as an offensive linemen, Sharpei recorded 116 pancakes while allowing just 19 sacks. Prior to the start of S4, Sharpei switched over to the defensive side to fill a team need as a middle linebacker. After the switch, he became a force to be reckoned with in the league. In 52 games as a linebacker, Sharpei tallied an incredible 472 tackles, 14 for a loss, forced 5 fumbles & recovered 2, racked up 32 sacks, 4 interceptions, 31 passes defensed & even blocked a damn punt. Congrats @Muford, you know how much I love you & you 100% earned this. I'll do my part to get you in the league's hall as well.

Now for our second inductee. With the 88th pick in the league's inaugural draft (shout out to my former partner @Perkules for that steal), the SaberCats selected Dan Miller, a defensive tackle out of LSU. Despite being a relative unknown, Miller burst onto the scene as a prominent member of the NSFL community. After being left high & dry by a couple GM partners in S1, Miller stepped up & became my co-GM in S2. After a season in that position, he took a job with HO & made way for Sharpei to become my co. On the field, Miller terrorized opposing O-lines & quarterbacks. In 94 games as a SaberCat, Miller recorded 348 tackles, 12 of them for a loss, forced 9 fumbles & recovered 5, tallied a franchise record 101 sacks & even managed to add a safety to his stat line. Congratulations @7hawk77, like Muford you 100% earned this I'd like to thank you again for everything you did for this team.
