Do you attribute your lack of stats to the amount of downs you've been given?

Whether or not I am given every snap or only ten percent of snaps should not effect whether or not I make an impact. As a child I was always told I need to earn more snaps, and I will do that by making the most of the snaps I am giving. Whether this leads to person success or team success is yet to be determined but I am excited of the idea of bringing the San Jose Sabercats to their first ever postseason berth.

What have you done to fix your training regime that you believe will give better results on the field?

Well, it all starts with D'Pez knocking on my door each morning, the dude never lets me sleep in, claims that I hate him as a person if I refuse to go to the gym with him. I refuse to be known as the teammate that hates friendship so I try to make my way there every morning with him.

How important are your personal stats at this point in your career?

I am relatively new to the league so I can not expect too much right away, the NSFL is a completely different pace from the game I am used to at the college level so to expect dominance instantly is silly of me. I just hope to see myself as an impact player for San Jose sooner rather than later.

How are you liking the SJS locker room thus far?

I am relatively quiet in there, but I enjoy bantering with the boys at the pub after a win, and we have just happened to go out a lot lately.

Did any other teams show interest in you at the draft?

Orange County asked if I thought I could keep up with the rigours of the NSFL but apart from that no teams even contacted me let alone showed interest.

Where do you see your career going in the next 5 seasons?

I hope to be a top five defensive line, and an impact player at my position, but only time will tell whether or not I can make that happen.

Do you think having other star teammates on defense factors into personal stats looking down?

I mean being surrounded by stars will always make the little guy even smaller, but I think I am enough of an impact player to be able to keep my personal numbers respectable while being surrounded by such talent. Danny has been thriving this season even without much more league experience than I am, so I think I am just going to chalk up the first little bit to nerves.

What is your plan to get them back up if that's a top goal for you?

I need to continue just playing the game at my pace. I have started to speed up the game on myself and it is doing me no justice. I need to approach the game as I did when I was younger, when it was simpler. Listen, my only job is to pressure the opposing QB, how hard could it really be?
