After a tough couple of seasons, we finally broke free in San Jose to make the playoffs. Unfortunately, we came out flat against Orange County and are back home again. We came a long way from that 1-13 finish last season and after getting a taste of playoff football, we're going to be that much hungrier next season. We're young as hell and will be in this position for seasons to come.
I'll take any questions you have now.
Listen, there were a lot of losses, I lost count haha.
1. We're only going to go up from here. As crazy as it sounds, I'm one of the veterans on the team and I was drafted in Season 9. Our team is still crazy young and we're improving every day. Our aim actually wasn't this season, it was next season. Credit to our players for breaking out this season, but next season is when we start to peak. We're going to be favourites for longer than next season.
2. I love Christ and this isn't a knock on him, but I'm excited to see improved play at the quarterback position. He's still so young and the growing pains are expected. Next season though, we need him to take that next step like Showbiz took. The coaches didn't put too much on his plate this season, but next season he should be improved enough to increase his workload.
3. Personally, no I'm not. Outside of touchdowns, my stats were unacceptable for where I want to be. I work too hard to bring these mediocre stats to the table. My catches and yards are way too low if I want to include myself in the best wide receivers conversation. Two subpar seasons, but just more motivation going into the off-season. My team needs me to produce more and I want to produce more. Let's get after it.
4. I'm chasing any and every wide receiver record in NSFL history. In my two seasons in the DSFL I dominated. I took over every record that means a damn for wide receivers so the bar was set. I set out to do the same thing in the NSFL, but it's a different beast up here. I'm still pushing for records, but I'll have to work ever harder to get there.
5. I'm a big hockey fan, so I love to go check out Sharks games at the SAP Center. I'm a Leafs fan, though, so I have to check them out every time they come to town.
1. I have no concern of those players leaving. I like to think we have a tight knit locker room and I've gotten no sense that any of those players want to leave. Plus, why would you get off the ride now? We're hitting our stride right now, doesn't make sense to jump off a moving train. Those players are huge reasons for our play so I'd hope they want to see where out potential is.
2. It's the Otters. Having a young star quarterback and running back is huge in the NSFL. Their defense is top notch as well so I don't see them going away. The Outlaws aren't even in our thoughts and the Second Line had their time, let them go ride in the sunset and try again in a couple of seasons.
3. We actually didn't come out flat, not at the beginning anyway. The first half went really well for us. Our defense was strong and we held the lead. I have no idea what happened when we came out of the tunnel for the second half, but everything fell apart. The offense just fell off a cliff. We couldn't get the ball to our playmakers and drives just kept stalling. Our defense forced enough punts for us, but we couldn't keep them off the field long enough to recover and I think they were just exhausted. The offense really let us down in that game, myself included.
4. To be honest, the only improvement in my game has been in the red zone. My touchdown numbers improved and I understand that's what matters most, but outside of those numbers, everything else was underwhelming. I'm big and strong enough to get separation in the red zone which gives Christ a target to hit every time. I'm going to work with Christ in the off-season to work on our timing and hopefully see some improvements.
I'll take any questions you have now.

What do you think is next for San Jose? Do you feel they will be favorites in the ASFC next season?
What is the are of improvement you'd like to see from the team in near future?
Are you happy with your season?
What milestones is Flash chasing?
Favorite place in San Jose?

Who would you consider your biggest competition in the ASFC going forward?
After dominating the regular season, why do you think you guys fell so hard to OCO (aside from "coming out flat")?
Where have you seen the biggest improvement so thus far in your game?
