Hello everyone. Welcome to our first presser as San Antonio Marshals Co-GMs. Before we get to any questions, please allow us to introduce our selves.
I am Taco MacArthur. Yes I am the Founder and CEO of Taco Corp. The same Taco Corp that started The EBDB, EBDBBnB, EBDB Prime, Neckflix, Notary Service, MyFace, Taco's Truck; created The Pee Bib, EBDBnB BLT, Three Penis Wine; and once owned dallascowboys.com.
I will allow my fellow GM introduce himself - @shadyshoelace
The name's String. I have extensive experience building businesses from the ground up and managing teams to fight through adversity towards a common goal. Over the years, I've developed techniques for dealing with problematic employees and am comfortable adapting my strategies as new opportunities arise. I'm excited to help guide the San Antonio Marshals into the future, as well as to spend some time in Tijuana getting to know the local culture.

Taco:
It is made from the cock of a deer, dog and snake. If you have some it will make you better than @124715.

Is Justin Tucker available?
Taco:
Waffles. The rest are hard. I'll let my Co-GM answer the others.
I think my Co-GM left the mic....
You're right we don't have a lot of active players. That said, Shady and I feel we're only one key piece from having an effective offense for this up coming season. Through the draft and DSFL contraction, as well as the last remaining active S15 players will finally be called up to the NSFL level, we believe the league will be more equalized and we can acquire the key players needed to compete against Tijuana, and potentially beat them in the playoffs. Make no mistake, that Wall is scary.
As far as keeping talent in San Antonio, in my opinion, maybe Shady disagrees, that is the opposite of our role as DSFL GMs. Our goal is to help every new player we get to climb fast enough to start in the NSFL as soon as possible. If a player stays with us at San Antonio more than two seasons, something went wrong.
For myself, @timeconsumer is definitly the main influencer I've had. He is an ocean of knowledge with regards to game play tactics. The same can be said for @shadyshoelace, but I don't know if there's anyone else that has influenced him.
I am optimistic that the two of us will work well together and maybe in a few seasons we can make the jump to GM a NSFL team, like how @nunccoepi and @iseedoug were GMs of Tijuana and then moved up to Baltimore together. It's a whole new part of the game for us, but we'll learn quick from our success and mistakes I'm sure.
Stringer:
I gotta echo everything Taco's said. There's some great talent in this upcoming draft, and we're excited to inject some new life into this team with a fresh set of rookies around our star offensive weapon, Peter Larson (if he decides to spend another year with us). The dispersion of Norfolk and Palm Beach players should give us a few more active bodies to work with, and we'll do our best to fill in the gaps and put our guys in a position to succeed.
Couldn't agree more regarding player development. We obviously want to win, but more importantly we want to give everyone who comes through San Antonio the tools to make an impact in the NSFL as soon as possible. Take a look at the Fab Five from S14: every one of them loved being a Marshal and were sad to break up, but they made the decision to move on and kickstart their big-league careers rather than stick around and most likely run the league. That's not a failure by the GM - that's a huge success.
My biggest influence was also timeconsumer. The way he ran every part of the team - scouting, locker room management, gameplanning, advising - was incredible to see. I'm sure we'll lean on him for support as we get this thing off the ground, especially with strategies. I've also learned a lot from @Bigred1580 in Yellowknife about player management. He brings a great energy to the locker room every day and makes sure that everyone is happy and ready to ball, and I hope that Taco and I can do the same here.
Waffles, but you can't go wrong with either. Throw some pecans in there, some maple syrup on top, and some thick-cut bacon on the side...
Stringer:
We like to give Cooter a hard time for that game-ending pick, but he's a great quarterback and we were lucky to have him with the Marshals. He was a great leader for the Fab Five, and now he's put the league on notice in Yellowknife.
With the sudden retirements of Pierce Van Buren and John Gott, we're definitely thin at linebacker. That said, we're thin all over and this draft isn't incredibly deep at LB, so we're going to focus on taking the best players available instead of focusing on filling specific needs.
You can never say never - look at how quickly Palm Beach went from 0 to Ultimini. With the quick turnover in the DSFL, there's always a chance for teams to make huge moves up the standings. That said, there's a lot of work to do on this roster if we want to contend for a championship, so I'm going to refrain from making any bold promises.

How will you add talent to this roster? How will you keep it there?
Who are you managerial influencers?
Pancakes or waffles?

Have you guys feel the regret of Cooter messing up the FabV?
I’ve heard LB is a big need, who would you be considering for that role?
Do you feel like an Ultimini is on the horizon? If so, who do you think you’ll beat?
