Rod Tidwell’s MEGA DRAFT ARTICLE
Rod Tidwell needs to be shown the Money, since nobody is willing to just give money to Rod Tidwell, he must work for his money. This is not unusual but Rod Tidwell, thinks he deserves all the money that Rod Tidwell deserves, which is to say all of the money. So, in order for Rod Tidwell to make that kind of money he has decided he is going to talk about the recent drafts in the NSFL. First, he will start with the expansion draft, which is so near and dear to his heart, because he is a part of the newly formed expansion team that is Austin. Then he will discuss the NSFL entry draft which just happened where he gained some new teammates as well. Then finally he will discuss the DSFL draft, in another article because it hasn’t happened “yet”. Word to the wise aka “meta comment” this is intended to be very long so yeah dolla dolla bills yall.
THE NSFL EXPANSION DRAFT!
The NSFL expansion draft features two team, the Austin Copperheads and the Chicago Butchers. Both teams get to select players from existing NSFL teams, that were left unprotected, in order to build out their respective rosters. I will give how I think the players are, how they will fit, and basically my opinion, with very little research and time spent into it, so I hope you enjoy it.
#1 –
- Kwame Abayomi Mbanefo - DE - Rabidsponge21 -
Rapidsponge is a good user in the PBE, so I’m going to assume he is a decent user over here as well. The Butchers taking a defensive end first, makes sense for their build the defense first mentality. Mbanefo had a decent year last year in Baltimore. He recorded 45 tackles, 12 of those were for a loss and an additional 6 were sacks. Mbanefo was able to record one safety. Mbanefo with more playing time should excel, having maxed tackling, strength, agility, and many other stats. This looks like a slam dunk at first overall in the expansion draft.
#2 -
- Django Anoa'i - WR - tlk742 -
Tlk is another great user, makes sense that they went 1-2. Knowing that the Copperheads are looking to get some young fast offensive players this pick here makes sense for them. Django had a decent year last year, catching 727 yards and 6 touchdowns for a loaded Otters team. Django has good speed and very good hands, which will be helpful for a young Austin team, who are going to have to focus on possession receiving and not over the top shots in the first few years. This should help Austin in that respect.
#3 -
- Football Sackerman - DT - cptrella - :sabrecats:
Trella is another good user, he was picked here to start the defensive trend for the Copperheads. A total of 39 tackles, but none of those a loss. He did however have an amazing 16, so he completely lives up to his name. Sackerman is a strong and fast offensive lineman, who loves to chase down the quarterback and take him down quickly. Full disclosure, at the time of writing this, Sackerman has been traded back to San Jose, so he will not be on the Austin roster going into next season, for shame!
#4 –
- Curtis Saul - DT - Evok -
The Butchers continue their trend of picking defense players for their young team. They could end up being a pretty formidable defensive team very quickly. Saul was able to record 50 tackles in 14 games, 2 for a loss and 7 sacks. A big 300 pounder that can run as fast as a linebacker, will blow up the back field as well as other things… Who wouldn’t want that kind of player around? Between Saul and Mbfano, this defensive line is going to be a scary bunch.
#5 –
- Achilles Hondo - CB - Halfeatenonionbagel -
Hondo, the first defensive secondary taken in the expansion draft. He was a decent player for the Hawks, though he was the 3rd corner back. He recorded 40 tackles, forced a fumble, 2 sacks, 1 interception, and was able to knock down 6 passes as the third corner. Those numbers could make for a promising player if he were to get more time in the first team lineup. Achilles is a super-fast and agile back, who could work on his hands a bit to become more effective in the pass defense schemes, but overall is a useful build. Look forward to seeing how Chicago uses him in their secondary.
#6 -
- Grayson Kuusela - DE - WannabeFinn -
WannaBeFinn is active in other leagues I have seen him around a bunch. His player is a defensive end that will now be playing for Austin, instead of New Orleans. He had 32 tackles last year, with 10 of them being for a loss. He was also able to knock loose one for a forced fumble. He was only able to get 4 sacks however, but having a more prominent role on a team, should help those numbers. He is a tall, but not big bodied linemen, who has a lot of speed and strength. This should help a young team chase players down and become a bit more effective.
#7 -
- Sam Hardwick - WR - Ralams123 -
The Copperheads take another wide out here in the expansion draft. They are building an offensive unit that can hopefully put up points while they grow the defense. Sam Hardwick put up decent numbers last year in Arizona, that stupid state, where he was able to snag 60 passes for 794 yards and 6 touchdowns. The awesome thing about Hardwick is that he has almost elite speed and has very good hands. His ability to catch balls in traffic and drag backs with him is high end. Hopefully with more targets in Austin his production numbers will go up and he will have a good year.
#8 -
- Marc Spector - DE - Redcydranth -
The Butchers again look at the defensive side of the ball in the expansion draft. This time picking up Marc Spector from the Otters. Again this pick was moved to Arizona shortly after the expansion draft so I am not going to spend much time on how this will help the Butchers, because he will not directly help. However grabbing picks for a player is always smart, let’s move on.
#9 -
- Kulture Fulture - K - Saliva^ -
A Kicker… Well I guess everyone needs a kicker and the Butchers have decided to grab one here. Kulture Fulture is a good kicker. He kicks balls, the sometimes go in. Not much more to say about a kicker tbh. They are a necessary part of the game, but I don’t know much about them. Ok he does have 100 in accuracy and 90 in power, so that is a pretty awesome pick up for a young team. Well done.
#10 -
- Sandip Bakashi - LB - Player1 -
Ok, finally now the Copperheads are looking towards the defensive side of the ball. Sandip had a monster of a year last year. 125 tackles, 3 interceptions, 2 sacks, and 2 tackles for a loss. Wow this kid is special. A big physical presence but will speed and strength. The Copperheads are hoping that his linebacker can be a big part of their future and man does that look like a steal this late. Austin got themselves a defensive player they can build around in Bakashi.
#11 -
- Spencer Castle - CB - AsylumParty - :sabrecats:
Let’s go ahead and keep this defensive train rolling. Castle is also a tackling machine with 62 tackles this season as a defensive back. He was also able to knock down 25 passes, but only record one interception. He is going to need to get those picks up for Austin. He is a fast corner back with decent agility and endurance, but low hands, so that is what attributes to his high knockdown but low interception ratings. Hopefully he can work on that and bring it up to help the Copperheads with some picks.
#12 -
- Bobson Dugnutt - CB - Bzerkap -
Bobson Dugnutt, while a fantastic name was not really a fantastic player last year in Yellowknife. He was only able to get 3 tackles in all 14 games, which suggests to me that he did not play much. His build is a bit lacking, but he does have some good speed. My assumption at this point is this pick is need based to fill the roster.
#13 -
- Roger Batoff - WR - Yoye -
Batoff is an older receiver, who fills a need as a possession guy for the Butchers. They need to start getting some offensive threats or their wide out Oles is going to have to be quite the work horse this year. He has decent speed and hands, tho old able to grab about 52 yards last year in Philadelphia. Again most likely at this stage in the draft we are looking at hole fillers for most teams.
#14 -
- Joseph Henry - DE - uncleleo'skomrade -
Depth defensive signing here for the Austin Copperheads. Joseph Henry last season was only able to record 7 tackles, but 1 for a loss and 2 sacks, but overall his production was not very good. Will help fill out the lineup here for the Copperheads and may have a bit of a better year without all the other players blocking his spot, but don’t expect much from this player. Though not very old, seems to be inactive, with a decent strength and speed build.
#15 -
- Ryan Crisco - K - Ryan0413 -
Hey look, a kicker again, this time it is Austin picking a kicker. Which I stated earlier is a need for all teams and you’d rather not have a gm create one or draft one high, so it makes sense to take in the expansion draft. Crisco is a decent kicker, with good accuracy and power, not as good a Kulture, but decent. Hopefully he will be able to continue his play and be good for Austin going forward.
#16 -
- Declan Harp - TE - Obese -
Declan Harp at one point was the class of the Tight Ends, the last few seasons however he has been regressing, but still useful for a new offense. Only able to catch for 320 yards last year, but did have 5 touchdowns, Declan could help take some of the pressure off of Oles. Still at a max build, with good speed, hands, and strength with more targets could be a productive player again for this year. How long after that he plays, who knows.
#17 -
- Aksel Danielsson - RB - JSS -
With a bunch of up and coming backs in New Orleans, they felt they were ok with exposing the aging Aksel Danielsson. Though he was their 2nd leading rusher last year, behind the full back, they have some nice pieces going forward. Aksel was able to gain 735 years and 7 touchdowns last season, so this should help with the depth behind Ricky Adams. Aksel is definitely a speedy back who likes open spaces, being smaller and lighter than most other players.
#18 -
- Jonathon Towers - S- Supersquare04 -
Jonathon Towers, was a role guy for the Colorado Yeti and I don’t see much changing here with the Austin Copperheads. He was not very effective on a bad Colorado team, so I cannot image he will be much better on a new and young Austin team. This is a pick to fill the roster as most of these last few picks will be.
#19 -
- Gordon Ramsey Jr. - CB - LattimoreIsland -
Gordon Ramsey had a fumble recovery last season, this was his best stat. Moving on…
#20 -
- Seer Zaphyrous - RB - 7hawk77 -
Seer was able to rush for 453 yards as the Otters second option, also scoring 3 touchdowns. This is a depth signing, but maybe he can do something as a Butcher.
#21 -
- Felix Hasselhoff - WR - Incitehysteria -
Love this name, the player… Well let’s just say he isn’t inciting any hysteria around him.
#22 -
- Shannon Hobbs - S - evryday -
Shannon Hobbs actually did some cool stuff last season. Shannon was able to force 2 fumbles, recover one and get about 4 sacks all as a safety. That is interesting, because Shannon doesn’t appear to be a big pass rushing defensive back, but can be effective in disrupting the quarterback.
#23 -
- AJ Robertson - LB - Nathan_Hall -
Filler, plus some sacks and some stuff.
#24 -
- Will Foster - DT - Ztevans -
3 sacks, a few tackles. Goooo Foster!!
Now that we have looked at the expansion draft. Rod Tidwell, will go over the NSFL draft. Rod Tidwell, is only going to cover the first two rounds, because I am sure you are sick of reading this by now, but SHOW ME THE MONEY, since SLM won’t show me the money, you know my AGENT, I’m writing this here
NSFL Draft
Round 1
1
Sam Torenson - RB - Jonny2x
Jonny2x is a great user over in the PBE. He is focusing on a speedy back buid, but I am unsure of where else he wants to go with this build as he is really putting all of his efforts into speed, which is smart for this sim. We will have to wait a few season to see how this will develop however. Last season in Portland, Torenson was able to gain 481 yards and punch in 7 touchdowns. He only averaged about 4.6 yards per carry but did have a long of 20. He was the 3rd back on the team, so we will see how a full year of dominate time will help him, assuming he will be playing in the DSFL next season.
2
Blake Faux - LB - AlexF
AF is another good user here for Chicago. Blake had 125 tackles, 2 for a loss, 4 sacks, and an interception as a linebacker for the Portland Pythons last year. He was a beast down the middle on the defensive side of the ball, earning himself defensive player of the year. He is fast, strong, and surprisingly agile for his size and frame. Look for Blake to be a clog up the middle, but also agile enough to drop into coverage on a TE or Running Back. This is a good young talent and Chicago is going to be happy to have him.
3
Lazslo Fourty-Two - WR - C9Van
Lazslo, loves to talk in the 3rd person perspective. Laz was a teammate of mine in Tijuana and grew tremendously over the last year. Super happy to see him get picked so high in the NSFL draft. Laz was the 3rd option last year in Tijuana, behind the Wide Receiver of the Year in Rod Tidwell, me! This year he should have much better production though, 4 touchdowns and 371 yards as the 3rd option is quite good. He is developing much like Tidwell, a fast wide out with strong hands and wanting to make it hard to be tackled. I expect great things out of this kid.
4
via
Dermot Lavelle Jr. - CB - White Cornerback
Dermot Lavelle defiantly came into this draft with a lot of rules to being drafted and player usage. He is a tough young cornerback who wants the world. Austin is a good place for him to end up, because of being such a young team, they can allow him to get some of the things he wants early. Austin is hoping this coverage back can keep up with bigger NSFL wide outs and make some plays with his hands. He had 4 picks, 1 for a touchdown, 14 passes knocked down, and 1 fumble forced and recovered last season in Norfolk. Hopefully Dermot can live up to his expectations and Austin and him will have a bright future together.
5
via
Peter Larson - QB - Tomasnz
This pick was a bit of a shock to everyone during the draft, as one of Austin’s GMs had just created as a QB and was going to be auto picked in the next round. It wasn’t until a bit later, when it was realized Peter Larson, was going to do the thing Tim Tebow wouldn’t do. He was going to be switching to the Tight End position. This was a great pick, as one of their Tight Ends, just decided to play on the defensive side of the ball at Safety. This left a natural position gap in Austin that Peter Larson is now going to fill. This pick up could end up being a great steal for Austin as they got another high end skill guy who was willing to change for the team.
6
Chad Maulolo - DE - Graciejj2000
Chad Maulolo, he played last season for the Solar Bears, where he recorded 15 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, and recovered 1 fumble. He is a fast and tall defensive end, who is looking to push the linemen back and get to the runner or the quarterback as fast and quickly as possible. The wraiths appear to be calling him up early, so we will see how he does in Yellowknife.
7
Alberto McGwire - DT - kentuckycolonel
Alberto McGwire is a big defensive tackle, the Liberty are hoping will be a hole blocker in the future and a big man who wants to get after the quarterback. He is fast for his size, but wasn’t quite that effective last year in the DSFL, he will need a year or two more before he will really be able to step into his own. He only had 11 tackles, 3 for a loss and 1 sack, but wasn’t playing a full season there and really had a smaller role on the team. To be picked this high, the Liberty most have saw great things in this player.
8
via
Mako Mendonca - RB - Mooty99
Mako, played in the backup role last year in Palm Beach. He still was quite effective running for over 600 yards, with a long of 42 yards and scoring 1 touchdown. Going to be a receiving type back, with good hands and speed, this will help a developing offense as they need a dink and dunk kind of player. This may also allow for players like Tidwell or Django to go over the top of the backs and make some big plays. He should be a really good compliment to Dicky in Austin and they are expecting him to develop greatly.
9
William Tell - CB - scharlachrot
William Tell had a good year in Kansas City last season. He was able to get 66 tackles as a cornerback, which is a good number for that position. He also picked off 3 passes, knocked down 14 more, and was able to record 1 tackle for a loss. The Swiss born player is looking to make an impact when he gets into the league. Speed and Agility are the focuses, but he is also one of the smarter players in the DSFL. He is able to read quarterbacks eyes and that should help him down the line. His understanding of the game is immense and that is what San Jose is banking on.
10
Joshua Palmer - TE - Jackets28
The second pick in the first round for the Colorado Yeti, is the Tight End Joshua Palmer. Josh Palmer, had a decent season In Kansas City. He was able to catch 50 passes for 366 yard and 1 touchdown. While he wasn’t the featured man in the passing game, he was the featured Tight End. Palmer is definitely more of a receiving Tight End, as he doesn’t look to block too much during the game. He is 6’6” and that big bodied frame will definitely help him going across the middle of the field. He has big dream and Colorado is hoping that those will be accomplished.
Round 2
11
Ben Tu'inukuafe - OL - Ben
The first Offensive Linemen taken in the draft is Ben. Ben is a big offensive line, a part of the wall in Tijuana, so Chicago got a good one and one brick in the wall. Ben is a strength blocker, who wants to dominate his opponents with pure strength and muscle, rather than quickness and footwork. Chicago is hoping to get him back to work and gaining a little bit more this season. If they can get him to develop into a mi
ddle tier prospect as an Offensive Line, he will be a great pick up for Chicago.
12
via
Anthony Rowland - CB - ARJ04
San Jose acquired this pick via a trade with Austin. Rowland is a good pick up here in the early 2nd round as he was able to record 69 tackles, 3 picks and 12 knock downs last year for San Antonio. San Antonio had a stacked secondary and Rowland was a big part of that, if not the biggest part of it. Really agile and quick with hands that will rival many running backs or tight ends, Rowland is looking to be a play maker in the secondary. He could also be a potential return man, which is a high value position as well.
13
via
ForThe Brand - K/P - Renrut
Hey look, the first Kicker taken in the draft and it is the Hawks first pick. Strong leg, decent accuracy make him an ok kicker, but to select a kicker in the 2nd round of the draft seems interesting. I guess they didn’t really have another kicker that was reliable and they have a good team, so this all could make sense. Well anyway, they got a kicker, who will gain attributes and do stuff with kicking and stuff.
14
via
Wolfie McDummy - QB - infinitempg
Colorado, picks their GM here with the 2nd round selection. With Franklin still on the team in Portland, Wolfie decided to play Wide Receiver last season. This went over ok, with 584 yards caught, 3 touchdowns, and 0 trick plays. Really, I am disappointed I didn’t see a flea flicker, or something awesome. Does the sim allow these sorts of things? If not, let’s make it allow it, cause that would be the best. Can you play a two quarterback system, where you run the option? I simply do not know. Anway, Wolfie will be a good player for Colorado, hopefully it all works out.
15
via
Antonio Sandoval Jr. - DE - TheMemeMaestro
Antonio Sandoval, as a defensive end only had 34 tackles last season, but did have a total of 11 tackles for a loss, 1 forced fumble and 3 sacks. Those are some positive numbers, the not so positive thing, is I think he has gotten into one to many bags of Cheetos and has decided to stop training. He hasn’t done much to help himself in a long while and this may just not be a good look for Colorado.
16
via
via
Chance Matthews - S - DaftRaincloud
Chance Matthews, had 2 picks last year and 2 knock downs. That is about all he did in his season for Portland. Unnfortunately, they had to choose someone here and Chance was the best prospect to be found.
17
DeMarcus Strike - TE - OwlStrike13
DeMarcus had such promise, unfortunately he decided that he wanted to be a middling player instead of the stud he could have been. Only catching 25 passes last year, for a total of 223 and 1 touchdown was not very helpful for the Norwich rule34subwolves. Now he is the Libertys problem who hope they can coax this play back into the work room and get to doing something for them in the future.
18
Hugh Mongo - WR - speculadora
Spec’s player Hugh, is a shock to be picked this far down. He was quite effective in Tijuana last year, my only thought is he told every team, he would only play in Orange County. Hugh had 48 catches for 650 yards and a score last year. He is big and fast, with decent hands and if he continues to build, which remains to be seen, he will be a steal here at pick 18 for the Otters. We will see how this develops in the coming seasons.
19
via
Easton Cole - QB - JKortesi81
EASTON MOTHER F’IN COLE! Sorry, this needed to be shouted as he is my quarterback, my man, the guy with the plan, EASTON MOTHER F’IN COLE! The whitest white name you could choose, but he will be an effective quarterback in the league and we are better to have him. He is smart, accurate, and has a cannon for an arm. Watch out league Easton Cole is here. Ok, now honestly, Cole will take a little while to develop, but he will be growing and developing with the young talent already in Austin, so this should be a fun team to watch in a few seasons. Hopefully this all works out and Austin is a contender in the years to come.
20
via
Jaylen Storm - S - Daybe
Jaylen Storm, had a good year in Kansas City last season. He was able to record 71 tackles, 2 for a loss, 2 sacks, 4 interceptions, and 5 knock downs. He is a big game free safety, who wants to go for the pick six whenever he can and boy can he run. This man could be a game changer later in his career once developed.
So there you have my take on the NSFL expansion draft and NSFL entry draft. I was thinking of doing the DSFL entry draft as well, but you may have to wait on that, if anyone cares. I think Austin and Chicago, who were set up the best in this draft, were the clear cut winners in the draft, were there was not a deep prospect pool, but really good high end ones. Hopefully this will help them in the years to come to be competitive quicker and make the league more balanced and fun. I think Colorado was super unfortunate to trade for picks in this draft, when it turned out to not be a super deep class. Hopefully they can make up for it with some good trades and moving into the next couple of drafts. We will see how this season shakes up and what recruitment looks like going forward.

Though not very old, seems to be inactive, with a decent strength and speed build.

#19 -

Gordon Ramsey had a fumble recovery last season, this was his best stat. Moving on…
#20 -

Seer was able to rush for 453 yards as the Otters second option, also scoring 3 touchdowns. This is a depth signing, but maybe he can do something as a Butcher.
#21 -

Love this name, the player… Well let’s just say he isn’t inciting any hysteria around him.
#22 -

Shannon Hobbs actually did some cool stuff last season. Shannon was able to force 2 fumbles, recover one and get about 4 sacks all as a safety. That is interesting, because Shannon doesn’t appear to be a big pass rushing defensive back, but can be effective in disrupting the quarterback.

Filler, plus some sacks and some stuff.

3 sacks, a few tackles. Goooo Foster!!
Now that we have looked at the expansion draft. Rod Tidwell, will go over the NSFL draft. Rod Tidwell, is only going to cover the first two rounds, because I am sure you are sick of reading this by now, but SHOW ME THE MONEY, since SLM won’t show me the money, you know my AGENT, I’m writing this here
NSFL Draft
Round 1
1

Jonny2x is a great user over in the PBE. He is focusing on a speedy back buid, but I am unsure of where else he wants to go with this build as he is really putting all of his efforts into speed, which is smart for this sim. We will have to wait a few season to see how this will develop however. Last season in Portland, Torenson was able to gain 481 yards and punch in 7 touchdowns. He only averaged about 4.6 yards per carry but did have a long of 20. He was the 3rd back on the team, so we will see how a full year of dominate time will help him, assuming he will be playing in the DSFL next season.
2

AF is another good user here for Chicago. Blake had 125 tackles, 2 for a loss, 4 sacks, and an interception as a linebacker for the Portland Pythons last year. He was a beast down the middle on the defensive side of the ball, earning himself defensive player of the year. He is fast, strong, and surprisingly agile for his size and frame. Look for Blake to be a clog up the middle, but also agile enough to drop into coverage on a TE or Running Back. This is a good young talent and Chicago is going to be happy to have him.
3

4

5

6

Chad Maulolo, he played last season for the Solar Bears, where he recorded 15 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, and recovered 1 fumble. He is a fast and tall defensive end, who is looking to push the linemen back and get to the runner or the quarterback as fast and quickly as possible. The wraiths appear to be calling him up early, so we will see how he does in Yellowknife.
7

Alberto McGwire is a big defensive tackle, the Liberty are hoping will be a hole blocker in the future and a big man who wants to get after the quarterback. He is fast for his size, but wasn’t quite that effective last year in the DSFL, he will need a year or two more before he will really be able to step into his own. He only had 11 tackles, 3 for a loss and 1 sack, but wasn’t playing a full season there and really had a smaller role on the team. To be picked this high, the Liberty most have saw great things in this player.
8

Mako, played in the backup role last year in Palm Beach. He still was quite effective running for over 600 yards, with a long of 42 yards and scoring 1 touchdown. Going to be a receiving type back, with good hands and speed, this will help a developing offense as they need a dink and dunk kind of player. This may also allow for players like Tidwell or Django to go over the top of the backs and make some big plays. He should be a really good compliment to Dicky in Austin and they are expecting him to develop greatly.
9

William Tell had a good year in Kansas City last season. He was able to get 66 tackles as a cornerback, which is a good number for that position. He also picked off 3 passes, knocked down 14 more, and was able to record 1 tackle for a loss. The Swiss born player is looking to make an impact when he gets into the league. Speed and Agility are the focuses, but he is also one of the smarter players in the DSFL. He is able to read quarterbacks eyes and that should help him down the line. His understanding of the game is immense and that is what San Jose is banking on.
10

The second pick in the first round for the Colorado Yeti, is the Tight End Joshua Palmer. Josh Palmer, had a decent season In Kansas City. He was able to catch 50 passes for 366 yard and 1 touchdown. While he wasn’t the featured man in the passing game, he was the featured Tight End. Palmer is definitely more of a receiving Tight End, as he doesn’t look to block too much during the game. He is 6’6” and that big bodied frame will definitely help him going across the middle of the field. He has big dream and Colorado is hoping that those will be accomplished.
Round 2
11

The first Offensive Linemen taken in the draft is Ben. Ben is a big offensive line, a part of the wall in Tijuana, so Chicago got a good one and one brick in the wall. Ben is a strength blocker, who wants to dominate his opponents with pure strength and muscle, rather than quickness and footwork. Chicago is hoping to get him back to work and gaining a little bit more this season. If they can get him to develop into a mi
ddle tier prospect as an Offensive Line, he will be a great pick up for Chicago.
12

San Jose acquired this pick via a trade with Austin. Rowland is a good pick up here in the early 2nd round as he was able to record 69 tackles, 3 picks and 12 knock downs last year for San Antonio. San Antonio had a stacked secondary and Rowland was a big part of that, if not the biggest part of it. Really agile and quick with hands that will rival many running backs or tight ends, Rowland is looking to be a play maker in the secondary. He could also be a potential return man, which is a high value position as well.
13

Hey look, the first Kicker taken in the draft and it is the Hawks first pick. Strong leg, decent accuracy make him an ok kicker, but to select a kicker in the 2nd round of the draft seems interesting. I guess they didn’t really have another kicker that was reliable and they have a good team, so this all could make sense. Well anyway, they got a kicker, who will gain attributes and do stuff with kicking and stuff.
14

15

Antonio Sandoval, as a defensive end only had 34 tackles last season, but did have a total of 11 tackles for a loss, 1 forced fumble and 3 sacks. Those are some positive numbers, the not so positive thing, is I think he has gotten into one to many bags of Cheetos and has decided to stop training. He hasn’t done much to help himself in a long while and this may just not be a good look for Colorado.
16

Chance Matthews, had 2 picks last year and 2 knock downs. That is about all he did in his season for Portland. Unnfortunately, they had to choose someone here and Chance was the best prospect to be found.
17

DeMarcus had such promise, unfortunately he decided that he wanted to be a middling player instead of the stud he could have been. Only catching 25 passes last year, for a total of 223 and 1 touchdown was not very helpful for the Norwich rule34subwolves. Now he is the Libertys problem who hope they can coax this play back into the work room and get to doing something for them in the future.
18

Spec’s player Hugh, is a shock to be picked this far down. He was quite effective in Tijuana last year, my only thought is he told every team, he would only play in Orange County. Hugh had 48 catches for 650 yards and a score last year. He is big and fast, with decent hands and if he continues to build, which remains to be seen, he will be a steal here at pick 18 for the Otters. We will see how this develops in the coming seasons.
19

20
