Ode to S18
Coming into S17 I didn’t know what the new class was going to shape up to be as I had never seen one other than mine before. With the amount of people that joined I had no idea what this class was going to end up as. Add the fact that this was my first season as a gm and I was filled with a ton of excitement. From the second I had started to talk to you guys I had fell in love with all the different people in this amazing class. As the season went on we got to see you guys develop into the people you are today and I wouldn't change any of you in the slightest. I will miss seeing you guys play in the DSFL but always remember that you will always have a place in my heart. In my opinion, there will never be a class that has more personality and more talent than you guys.
I know you will all go in different directions once the NSFL begins but never get your roots. I am able to say with full confidence that the league changed for the better once you guys joined.

The people I am going to list now are people who have done things that will always stick with me. If you aren’t here it does not mean that I don’t care about you, I love all of you guys(and girls).

Where do I even begin. Coming into the season Portland needed a quarterback and the second I had talked to you I knew that you were the one. You were amazing in every way and there was no reality where I pass you up. That’s why when we were on our first select I picked you the second I got on. You have always been there and you always bring that charm you showed me when I scouted you. You always push others to be their greatest and I’ve learned a lot from you. I know that one day you will be winning MVP’s left and right once you get to the big leagues with whatever team you get drafted to. You will always be my first ever draft pick and be an example to what a legend looks like. In essence, I want to thank you for being you.

From the second I met you I felt that you were a perfect fit for the Pythons. Your amazing personality was exactly what we wanted in our locker room. Unfortunately, when draft day came and Tijuana picked you(Scorp sucks btw) I thought that I had no shot at getting you but I felt that I had to at least try. When I got the trade done I had to use all my strength to keep me from revealing it. When you entered our locker room you had that “Who’s Next” mentality and it got us all pumped up. When we invited you into our war room you immediately got to work on getting the sim and testing for us even though I hadn’t asked you to do that for us. You had far exceeded our expectations in every way and let it be known that you are the best WR in S18 and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

You two guys are who I want other players to look up to when they think of legends. You will always have a home with me and the Pythons. Without you guys, I would never have been the GM I am today. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I know all of S18 will have amazing career and I expect to see you all in the HoF one day. It was so much fun to spend time with you guys this season and I’m excited for the seasons to come.
