Jacob Andrews just left the locker-room after a dominated win over the Buccaneers, he made his way to the team bus on his way there he got stopped by a reporter.
Reporter: Jacob! Sorry to bother you, but could we get a few questions in with you before you leave, please!?
Jacob gave off a nod to the reporter.
Reporter: Fantastic. First off, how does it feel to been announced as the offensive captain this season for the Norfolk Seawolves, along side defensive captain Marlo Smart?
Jacob Andrews Jr: Honestly, [he took a moment to wipe his sweat off his forehead] it's an honor in my first season as a Seawolve to get named a captain. It just shows that the people see the leadership and maturity I have to offer as a captain. Hopefully, the big dogs in the higher up leagues can notice that when it comes to drafting.
The reporter nodded before proceeding to her next question.
Reporter: Now.. A question everyone has been interested in knowing the answer too. What're your personal thoughts on this whole rivalry the media has created between you and Buccaneer wide-receiver, Sweet James Jonez?
Jacob only laughed, before shaking his head and proceeding to answer the question.
Jacob Andrews Jr: It isn't a rivalry if both players aren't at the same level. Which, in our case I'm the better player and he's struggling to make receptions so not much of a rivalry just me dominating in my position and him looking up to me. If he wants a few tips on how to catch a few more balls per game, he can hit me up.
Reporter: Interesting comments. Now, one final question before we let you go catch up with the rest of your team on the bus.. The public has noticed you have been very loud about how serious you are about transforming Norfolk into one of the top teams in the league, how do you plan to do so - with a team, who is considered once of the worst and who are currently in a complicated situation revolving the Head Coach role and GM role?
Jacob Andrews Jr: Well, damn right I'm serious into convincing the people that we're a force to be reckoned with. We're a young and up-coming team, once we hit our peak there wont be any stopping us. We just have to keep doing what we're doing now, on the regular continue working hard and results will come easily. As for, our current situation revolving coach and our manager I can't really say much on it as a player. But, if you're asking me as a Norfolk supporter it needs to get settled the f*ck out real quick. Because coaches and managers are one of a teams most important factors.
The reporter nodded and spoke once more.
Reporter: Thank you for your time Jacob, best of luck to you and the rest of the team for the rest of your season.
Jacob Andrews Jr nodded and left the camera scene to board the team bus. The channel switched to commercials after.
