~Denver, Colorado 4/20/2034
Interviewer: So I am here with the 3 big draft picks for the Colorado Yeti, Thor Kirkby, Silver Banana, and Ben Kenobi.
Ok so first question is for you Thor Kirkby, How did you feel about going 6th overall to your new team, the Colorado Yeti?
Thor: Perfect. Got to join an up and coming team and also ended up with my bud Silver Banana.
Interviewer: I see you got a nice contract as well 9 Million total 3 year deal? How was that process for you?
Thor: Contract discussions with the boss were easy. Got a nice up front payment to set me and my family up but also team friendly in the long run to make sure we can compete for the chip. I'm not greedy like some that were drafted before me.
Interviewer: Care to go more into that?
Thor: There's players out here asking for mega deals when they haven't proven anything yet. We won the ultimini in Minnesota but you don't see Darrel Williams asking for a 20 million dollar deal.
Interviewer: My next question is for you Silver Banana. You have been the go to guy for Minnesota in pressure kicks. What do you do to stay focused in these situations and how do you plan to translate that into the NSFL?
Banana: Im not sure what you mean by pressure. My number gets called and I go out on the field and do my job, time or place it does not matter.
Interviewer: Just another kick every time i take it?
Banana: Yup each kick just like the last time i made it, no difference.
Interviewer: So Thor brought this up earlier, you and Thor both came from Minnesota, what was your thoughts when you realized you were moving up together to the same team?
Banana: Oh we all hate that dude. Cocky ass mother fucker
Interviewer: spits out drinks
Banana: Nah hes cool but his head at times is a bit too big for his body.
Interviewer: General Kenobi, you were the other 2nd round pick for Colorado, is this where you were expecting to end up?
Kenobi: To be honest, no. I did have a talk with the GM before hand but I was completely expecting to go back to Arizona or Baltimore where I knew the GMs and had experience with them. After being drafted to Colorado, even in the short time I have been with them, I can tell this is an incredible org. Some amazing players, the locker room is very tight knit, and the GMs have been a major help. I'll be going back to Tijuana and the DSFL for this season, but I'm very excited to get better and help Colorado win a ring in the upcoming seasons
Interviewer: You talk about the tight knit locker room. How have you and your other fellow rookies been introduced to the Yeti?
Kenobi: The veterans have really taken us underneath their wing and helped us out with a lot with regards to the league. Whenever we've had a question there's always someone there to answer it and help us out.
Interviewer: With off-season workouts, Which defensive player has been the hardest to go against in practice so far?
Kenobi: Mo Berry without a doubt. He's one of the best players I've seen in the league, and he really does it give it his all, even in practice. Every time I go toe-to-toe with him I know I'm gonna end up with bruises. But he brings out the best in me, and I'm getting better everyday.
Interviewer: For you Thor but on the flip-side which offensive player has been the toughest to go up against on the Yeti so far?
Thor: He might be old but James Bishop is quicker than lightning. Being a linebacker I'm not assigned to the WR unless he gets moved into the slot on certain plays, but I've also filled in a bit at safety and if he gets a step on you he is gone.
Interviewer: Bishop when moved into the slot can be a match-up nightmare, How has it been learning from the likes of Tony Gabagool and Mo Berry?
Thor: They have a slightly different style to me. I'm all about the speed, getting to the play before the offense and reducing the time the QB has to make a decision. So seeing their tricks and habits has been good for me and let's me add new dimensions to my game that I didn't have before.
Interviewer: Sounds like you got a few new tricks up your sleeve next year with the Grey Ducks again?
Thor: I've really focused on conditioning in the off season so I'll be back stronger and fitter than last season. I want to top the tackle charts next year rather than just be near the top.
Interviewer: You think you have a shot at the season record of 199? Can you get 200 tackles?
Thor: Let's wait and see. With my training I should be in the best shape possible to have a go at the record but at the same time I expect a lot of teams to go to the air when they realize they'll get punished on the ground.
Interviewer: So Ben, with learning from guys like Berry being former Linebacker of the year has to do tremendous things for your development. I'm sure him and Defensive End Steco Ocewilder have taught you a few things to bring back to the DSFL this upcoming season as well?
Kenobi: They definitely have, I don't wanna say too much, but when I go back to DSFL I already know these defenses won't be able to contain me. How can they if I go against some of the best players in the league, and in the DSFL it's rookies and backups?
Interviewer: I got practically the same question for you two, Ben and Thor. You guys being a Tightend and a Linebacker are you guys rivals because of this or has this brought you two to be close?
Thor: We're on the same team. One team one dream. I'm sure he expects me to do my best keep the opposition offense off the field and will let me know if he thinks I'm slacking. Same applies to him from me.
Kenobi: Agreed, I'd say it's brought us closer. We've been talking a lot since we got drafted, and I think we've definitely got a strong friendship. We're also rivals at the same time though, as we always want to one-up the other and be better during workouts.
Interviewer: You love to see it. Well with off-season workouts and what not have there been any veterans that have shown up and helped you rookies get adjusted to the new facilities, Silver?
Banana: Well some of the vets have shown me around a bit, turns out none of them know where any of the special teams stuff is located so i kinda had to find that myself. Turns out the last kicker kinda just left everything out in a back room somewhere so that was interesting. Wonder what happened to him?
Interviewer: Where has the special teams coach been? Has he had any involvement?
Banana: we have one of those?
Interviewer: you haven't seen this guy around?

Banana: oh ya the strange guy who keeps telling me to "kick the ball damnit"
ya hes doing ... a job...
Interviewer: noted
So I've heard you are superstitious? whats some of your biggest superstitions for game day?
Banana: never cleaned my socks. Always use the same shoes right one on first. I only talk to my punter on game day. No showering until i miss a kick
Interviewer: cough so thats that smell?
Banana: I just smell a championship dont know what you are talking about.

I guess if it works it works right?
Banana: its worked so far havent showered since before the playoffs. Socks are more or less an ankle ring now but eh.
Interviewer: Visibly ill That is all the time we have and we look forward to seeing more from you three in the future.
