Hey there it’s me Susan Cash.Jr. For this draft I’ve decided to do things a little differently. Instead of trying to analyze a team's needs or looking at a player's stats I’m going to try and look at a player’s intangibles. By that I mean that I’m just going to pick players based on how much they’ve impressed me, or in some cases completely at random. Alright here we go.
1st OA: Phat Boi
Special ability: Flair
I’m a big fan of Phat Boi. It’s hard not to be, the man exudes confidence in every post. Watching him trash talk anyone and everyone has been one of the brightest spots of my limited career in the league. He has been very vocal about his desire to be the first overall pick in the draft, but I haven’t seen anyone place him at first OA in their mock drafts. It makes me sad to imagine him looking at those mock drafts and not seeing his name front and center. Alone in the privacy of his own home he lets his mask of confidence slip and sheds a single manly tear before soldering on. So this one’s for you big guy keep up the good work.
2nd OA: You
Special ability: That X-Factor
My number two pick is you person reading this right now. Yeah you. Congratulations.
3rd OA: Alexander Hamilton II
Special ability: Pizzazz
I don’t really know much about Alexander Hamilton II. I’ve only had one very brief conversation with him about musical theater, but that was enough for me to know that this guy is going to be a star. It just goes to show that sometimes one good impression is all it takes.
4th OA: Daniel George
Special ability: Moxie
Like Hamilton above I’ve only had brief interactions with Daniel George, but again sometimes that’s all you need. His media posts are some of the highest quality ones out there rookie or otherwise. It’s obvious to me that he’s going to be a star in this league no matter what number he’s actually drafted at.
5th OA:Kevin Fakon
Special ability: Chutzpah
If there’s one thing that Kevin Fakon doesn’t lack it’s confidence. Nor should he the man has worked hard to earn his spot. He has proven to be a quick study and one would assume that translates into him being a quick running back. Which I don’t know about you seems like two good qualities to have in a potential running back.
6th OA: Luke Skywalker
Special ability: True Grit
What can be said about Luke Skywalker that hasn’t been said about dozens of QBs that came before or a dozen QBs that will come after. He’s a real lunch pail kind of guy, a real gym rat, a student of the game, he may or may not have magic powers. These may be cliches but in Luke Skywalker’s case they just so happen to be true facts as well.
7th OA: Cadillac Harris
Special ability: The Right Stuff
Cadillac Harris was one of the first people to get onto my radar when I entered the league about one week ago. In my mind he exemplifies everything that you need to be a force in this league. Hard working, driven, charismatic, and ambitious.
8th OA: William Lim
Special Ability: Intestinal Fortitude
William Lim and I joined the league at about the same time. I used his player page as a guide to make sure mine had all the relevant information it needed. Without Lim’s help I might not even be here today. Thank you Lim.
