On the evening of 16 March, multiple sources made HO aware that user @Raheem James had copied another user's post in the "(S21) - PT2 - Hall of Fame" thread. After a brief investigation, we discovered that this user had also copied another user's post in the "(S21) - PT1 - Reloaded" thread.
Point tasks are meant to be a user's own response to a given prompt. Plagiarizing another user's response, and plagiarism in any context, is entirely unacceptable. A previous case involving plagiarism of point tasks can be found HERE. We felt that the punishment enacted in that case was too harsh for this offense. To that end, HO has decided to impose the following punishment:
--No credit for either PT1 or PT2,
--A loss of 6 TPE from the player's current total TPE (the amount the user would have earned for both PTs), and
--A fine of $2 million.
As usual, the user in question is welcome to contact @iamslm22 if they wish to appeal their punishment.
