My first take at a mock draft. I thought I wouldn't write one at first, but the lure of big money was strong and writing a mock draft seemed like a fun idea so, here it is!
round 1
Pick 1(1st overall)
from
Select: Colt Mendoza, CB, 180 TPE
This might be a surprising pick for some people. But for people who heard some rumors lately, it wouldn't be surprising at all. Mendoza- user iStegosauruz- had significantly changed the paradigm of NSFL game playing scouting and player development through the statistical analysis pieces he wrote. Stego, with his incredible sim testing and analytical skills, will be a highly valueable addition to any NSFL team's war room, and will be considered a prime GM candidate when a spot opens and he is willing. It seems like the Copperheads especially liked this aspect of him and made sure that they will land him by trading up six spots in the first round via a trade with Honolulu. However, Colt Mendoza as a player is also one of the top CB prospects, so it will be another point scored for Austin who need a Cornerback to guard the field opposite Dermot Lavelle Jr.
Pick 2 (2nd overall)
from
Select: Magnus Rikiya, DT, 198TPE
New Orleans doesn't have that many holes in their roster. So they are one of the few teams that can afford to draft players they want instead of players they need. The fact that New Orleans, a relatively 'affluent' team in roster perspective as I said, traded up 10 spots in the first round means that they are aiming for a specific player whom they badly want. The rumors suggest that Magnus Rikiya- user Tesla- is the player. Tesla has the best personality out of everyone in this draft class. She had been kind to everyone as far as I've seen and heard, and I think she will be a good company to have in locker rooms. Also, Tesla has a lot of money in the bank accounts because of her media articles, so will continue to max earn throughout seasons to come, at least where money is concerned.
Pick 3 (3rd overall)
Select: Phat Boi, DT, 236TPE
It's lucky day in Philadelphia! They essentially landed the first overall pick caliber player with the third overall pick, as two teams before them passed on Phat Boi as they selected the player they valued more for other reasons than TPEs. Phat Boi stands as the top TPE earner of this massive draft class at 236 TPE so far, and also is active in both forum and discord, being a regular face in several discord channels. As Philadelphia only has one defensive tackle- Ricardo Morris, who had been inactive for about two months and will enter regression this offseason- landing Phat Boi with their first pick of the draft will be one of the best draft scenarios for Philadelphia.
Pick 4 (4th overall)
Select: Troen Egghands, DE, 201TPE
Arizona's greatest need consists of defensive backfield- both safety and cornerback- and defensive end, and top tier prospects from all of those positions are available. So Arizona goes with the top prospect in defensive end position, Troen Egghands, for two reasons. First, arizona needs a defensive end the most out of those three positions as their only defensive end in the roster, Joseph Henry, had been inactive for quite some time and is into regression. Also, there is the fact that this year's defensive back pool is very, very deep. Arizona can easily draft a max earning cornerback or safety prospect with one of their two second round picks or even their third round pick. So, Egghands is the logical choice as prospect depth of defensive end position is considered relatively shallow in this draft.
Pick 5 (5th overall)
Select: Johnny Hellzapoppin, S, 194TPE
San Jose has similar needs to Arizona before, as they too need a defensive end and a safety. And as Troen Egghands is already taken by Arizona at the pick before, the Sabercats decide to address the situation at safety since they badly need a help in that position asregressing veteran Trey Stayley will be the onlybactive member of that position group after Taylor Swift retired. Hellzapoppin will be exactly what the sabercats are looking for as he had recently taken the mantel as a simmer and has enough money to keep him max earning. He is also an active participant in both forums and discord, which is a big plus for San Jose as all teams need more locker room presense.
Pick 6 (6th overall)
from
Select: Derred De Ville, LB, 201TPE
After addressing their Defensive tackle position with selection of Phat Boi at pick 3, Philadelphia decides to make some improvements in their linebacker corps as Warren Stephens is the only linebacker who had been updating consistantly out of three linebackers in the NSFL roster. De Ville- user exilizer- is the perfect candidate for that role as he is both highly active in both forum and discord, as a graphics person and statistical analyst, and will be a valuable member of any team's war room, much like Colt Mendoza before. De ville isn't the highest TPE linebacker in the draft class, but he certainly has potential to rise up as one when he continues to max earn like he does now.
Pick 7 (7th overall)
from
Select: Stanislaw Koniecpolski, LB, 229 TPE
Honolulu, as an expansion team, has a need in every position. Especially, they need a veteran user presence in the locker rooms to build a healthy and welcoming locker room culture early in the team's history. In this point, there are two candidates for this role, Tyler Oles Jr. And Stanislaw Koniecpolski. I think Honolulu will choose Koniecpolski among those two as Koniecpolski, a linebacker, comes from a position of shallower depth than Oles. Koniecpolski- user majesiu- will be a great veteran to start with, too. He is a seasoned veteran of many simulation leagues such as NSFL and PBE, and can be an active participant in discord. Koniecpolski is the highest TPE linebacker of this draft class and is still max earning, so that's a nice bonus for Honolulu.
Pick 8 (8th overall)
Select: Eddie Jeeta, WR, 195 TPE
Yellowknife's main need to be considered in this pick is wide receiver and safety. In this scenario, Yellowknife decides to address the wide receiver position first and select Eddie Jeeta as the first wide receiver and first offensive player selected in the draft. Jeeta- user quirkyturtle- is a much liked individual in the NSFL community and is a regular face in several discord channels. From my enxounters with him, I can ascertain that he will be a good addition to the locker rooms. As a player, Jeeta provides a speedy receiving option with decebt hands to fill in the certain departure of Rayne Gordon, who had gone to Sarasota to GM the team, and the possible departure of Nate Swift in the upcoming wxpansion draft.
Pick 9 (9th overall)
Select: Tyler Oles Jr., CB, 201TPE
Colorado's need to be considered in this pick is Linebacker and cornerback. Amnong those two, cornerback seems to be the more reasonable choice in this pick as the next best linebacker at this point, Lawrence Bass, won't be gone until much later, and will be availableto be drafted when Colorado use their second or even third round selection. So, Colorado addresses the cornerback position by bringing in Tyler Oles Jr., a proven veteran and a max earner who will bring strong locker room presense which is always welcomed by every team, as well as his experiences as a long time veteran of the NSFL.
Pick 10 (10th overall)
Select: Matt 'son of a havoc' Cross, S, 200 TPE
New Orleans's need in this pick is mainly safety and wide receiver. They have only one safety- Mayson Blaylock- in the NSFL roster, while Bona'beri Jones is deep into regression and Jed Podolak has a possibility of being taken away in the expansion draft. So, this pick will be one of either the best safety available- Matt Cross- and best wide receiver available, which is William Lim. In this case, I will go with New Orleans selecting Cross as the safety situation seemed more needy than wide receiver position as they have only one player. Cross will be a good fit with New Orleans as the top TPE safety of the draft class, and likely will start in either safety position from day one next season.
Pick 11 (11th overall)
Select: Thubba Bumper, CB, 193 TPE
Baltimore is a team aiming for the ultimus this season, so they don't have many holes in their roster. Only pending need for them will be cornerbacks, as Marquees Acho is retiring and Xandra Troyski is very deep into regression as a S10 player. In this case I think Baltimore will value a recreate over a rookie(Eldrick Avery) and select Thubba Bumper, as the TPE difference between those two are only minimal and Bumper seems a tad more active than Avery. Bumper will be a great immediate relief to the Baltimore secondary next season as a max earner, and is very likely to win out the starting cornerback job from day one.
Pick 12 (12th overall)
Select: Jeffrey Philips, TE, 228 TPE
Orange County's primary needs for this pick is running back or a tight end, and top players from both positions- White Goodman and Jeffrey Phillips respectively- are availble as both of those positions are not that highly sought after. Among those two, I think tight end will be a position of higher need as their current tight end Johnny Blaze is deep into regression and qb Armstrong can fill in the running game himself. So, Orange county manages to snag Philips, one of the top TPE players of the draft class and top player of his position, is a veteran max earner and is a good presence in the locker rooms. This pick is a steal for Orange County as they caught Philips sliding because he was a toght end- not the most popular position in the field.
Round 2
Pick 1 (13th overall)
Select: White Goodman, RB, 221 TPE
Sarasota, like Honolulu, has needs in every positions as they are an expansion franchise. So, their strategy in here would be to draft the best player still available in the board. And that player is White Goodman, by a large margin. Also, I doubt that any starting caliber running backs will be out unprotected in the process of expansion draft, so the fact that he is a running back is an added bonus. Goodman, or user Gucci, is a veteran of this league and currently holds the position of DSFL GM for the Dallas Birddogs. He will continue to max earn for a long time and will provide a strong locker room presence and a unique scouting and sim perspectivd in the war room as an active DSFL GM.
Pick 2 (14th overall)
Select: William Lim, WR, 197 TPE
And now it comes to me. I think Honolulu will adopt the same strategy they implemented in their previous picks- namely selecting the best player available, not only in TPE perspective, but considering locker room presense and TPE progression. And I honestly think I am a good candidaye in that regards. As a user I am a max earner, am quite active in both forums and discord, and can contribute in scouting and sim testing, which can be a valuable attriubte for an expansion team, in my opinion. Also, it is reasonable for Honolulu to draft a wide receiver at this point as the maximum number of receivers they can get in the expansion draft is two in my opinion. So they will need a WR3 or WR2 in some cases. William Lim can provide that, as he is the most reliable receiving option in this class as well as being the highest TPE receiver of the class.
Pick 3 (15th overall)
from
Select: Buck Thornton, S, 195 TPE
Arizona, after addressing the problem at DE by selecting the top defensive end Troen Egghands, will now seek to rejuvenate their secondary with new talent using their two consecutive second round picks. The first of those two will be Thornton, who is the best safety left on the board. Arizona is in need of a safety as their second safety, Knut Knurtsson will most likely be auto- retired according to the rules after next regression hits in this offseason. Thornton is a max earner, and is very active in the forum, writing many interesting and informational articles. Although I have no information about how active he is in the discord, I assume he is active in discord, considering he is listed as a member of various discord groups. I think Thornton will be a good fit with a rebilding, young Arizona team.
Pick 4 (16th overall)
Select: chester Sweets, CB, 182 TPE
With the very next pick, Arizona continue on with rebuilding their secondary as they select cornerback Chester Sweets. Arizona need a cornerback as their current CB2 Beau Montgomery is near the end of career. Sweets will be a good replacement for Montgomery as he is a max earner and active in both forum and discord. Sweets, or user revuhlution, is most renowned for his podcasts, and will provide an active presense in locker rooms that Arizona will seek from the keystones of their rebuild.
Pick 5 (17th overall)
Select: Monteray Jack, QB, 209TPE
Under NSFL rules, San Jose have to use this pick on their GM Rradum's recreate player, Monteray Jack. It's by no means a 'reach' pick, though. Monty Jack is a Max earning quarterback who stands at second place among the quarterbacks of this draft class in TPEs. Jack will most likely spend a season or two in the DSFL back with the Birddogs, and will step in when it is eventually time for current quarterback
Dan Wright, who will hit regression this season, to eventually retire.
Pick 6 (18th overall)
from
Select: Michael Witheblock, WR, 191 TPE
As Eddie Jeeta and William Lim are taken off the board, teams that need a wide receiver will scramble a bit to land the remaining two top tier receivers, Michael Witheblock and Thomas Passman. Philadelphia is one of those teams, as they need to prepare the successor for Nacho Varga, who hits regression this offseason, and there is a possibility that either Randy Vuxta or Jake Dropson can be taken away via the expansion draft. So Philadelphia will take Michael Witheblock, a speedy, max earning wide receiver to add another target for Brock Phoenix as she reaches the prime of her career. Witheblock, an active user in both forum and discord, will also provide Philadelphia with much appreciated locker room presence.
Pick 7 (19th overall)
Select: Lawrence Bass, LB, 178 TPE
Austin defence is young and strong, however they need one more linebacker in the mix to be fully functional through all defensive formations. So they will set their sights on the best linebacker available on the board and select Lawrence Bass. Bass- user Russdrivesthebus- is obviously a max earner, and had wrote some interesting media pieces. I had also seen him in several discord servers, despite having no interactions with him. Bass will be a great addition to both Austin defence and locker room.
Pick 8 (20th overall)
Select: Colby Jack, QB, 222 TPE
This is another automatic pick according to the NSFL rules, as Colby Jack is a GM recreate player of Yellowknife GM, flyeaglesfly29. Colby is the highest TPE quarterback in this draft class, and will present a unique value when he matures into a NSFL level quarterback as he is of scrambler archetype, which is quite rare. Like Monty Jack before, Colby will spend a season or two and then step forward in place of regressing Cooter Bigsby when he eventually retires.
Pick 9 (21st overall)
Select: Thomas Passman, WR, 186 TPE
As Jeeta, Lim, and Witheblock all gets taken by other teams, Colorado, another team that need WR because of regressing James Bishop, who might be gone this offseason because of the expansion draft, will use their second round pick on Passman, the last remaining tier 1 wide receiver. Passman, who had wrote some very interesting and entertaining articles about his background, is a veteran of several sim leagues including NSFL and SHL. And while I am not sure about hiw active he is in discord, I am sure that he will bring his experience to Colorado and utilize it well.
Pick 10 (22nd overall)
Select: Sandro Ryeu, DE, 185 TPE
For this pick, New Orleans's need is defensive end and wide receiver. However, because all top tier receivers are gone and as they have only one defensive tackle in their roster, New Orleans will decide to rectify the situation and Select Sandro Ryeu, who is the best defensive end available in the board at the moment. Ryeu- or user s4ndr0p- is definately a max earner and wrote several good media pieces like his most recent ones in which he analyzed the DSFL stats of top TPE season 22 players. While I am not sure about how active he is on discord, I'm sure he will be a good fit to the New Orleans team as I heard that he is active in Royals locker room.
Pick 11 (23rd overall)
from
Select: Benson Bayley Jr., LB, 153 TPE
This pick was acquired by Chicago from Baltimore to serve a sole purpose, which is to draft Chicago's new GM bayleyisland's plyer as per the NSFL rules. While Benson Bayley Jr's relatively low TPE level can make him seem like a 'reach' pick for a second rounder, he is a max earner, and that is good enough for a GM mandatory pick. Also, user bayleyisland is a veteran of NSFL nad PBE who has several past GM experience and a individual of great personality, so I think he, along with muford, will be able to turn the situation in Chicago around and making the team respectable.
Pick 12 (24th overall)
Select: Acura Skyline, RB, 199 TPE
Orange County looks to further bolster its offense after they added tight end Jeffery Phillips to the team with their first round pick, as they add a running back in Acura Skyline. Skyline, who is DSFL's leading rusher currently, is the second highest TPE running back after Goodman. As an user, he wrote some biography style articles, and I am not sure about his activeness in discord. As a max earner and a good RB, Skyline will significantly boost up Orange county's ground game, as he can be a second rushing threat alongside their running qb, Franklin Armstrong.
Round 3
Pick 1 (25th overall)
Select: Octavio Clemente, DT, 197 TPE
Clemente fell for almost a whole round as there were not many teams that needed a DT (only team that needed one was Yellowknife who had to draft their GM player with that second round pick). However, Honolulu stopped him from falling even further and got themselves a steal. Clemente, or user billybolo53, is an active max earner who had wrote several articles recapping the happenings across the league under the name Monty Kronbon. He is also active in twitter with the account that has the same name, so I think he will bring a lot of lively locker room presence to Honolulu, which is a team that desparetely needs that kind of contribution being an expansion franchise.
Pick 2 (26th overall)
Select: Eldrick Avery, CB, 195 TPE
Avery is one of the highest TPE cornerbacks of this draft class, and Sarasota selects him as he is the best player available on the board. Avery was passed on by teams befire in favor of cornerbacks such as Thubba Bumper and Chester sweets, who has less TPE than him, because he was considered not as active as those two in discord and forums. However, this doesn't means by any mean that he is not active, as he is definately a max earner, and occasionally posts biography style media pieces. I don't know how much active he is in the locker rooms, but ai am sure that avery will bring some activeness along with his talent in defensive backfield to Sarasota.
Pick 3 (27th overall)
from
Select: Quinn Hughes, S, 190 TPE
Baltimore need a safety as both of their starters, Walt Green and Logan Uchicha, all enter regression this season. Hughes, or user Isidore94, is an individual who is renowned for his weekly power ranking articles as well as his activeness in discord. Frankly, the only reason he fell this far in the draft is only because he faced tough competition in his position group from players like Johnny Hellzapoppin and Matt Cross. Hughes will bring his activeness and his skills to Baltimore, and regarded as a value pick.
Pick 4 (28th overall)
Select: Fawn Dillmiballs, LB, 171 TPE
Arizona continue on with the rebuild of their defence, this time adding a third linebacker to the roster as they select Fawn Dillmiballs. Dillmiballs, the proud 69th pick of this season's DSFL draft, is famous for his daily Booger Mcfarland quotes he posts in twitter every day. He is also a very fun and pleasant individual to interact with, as I know from many interactions with him in Birddogs guest chat section before the DSFL draft. Dillmiballs offer a pleasant personality and great locker room presense along with his skills as a linebacker and being a max earner. And I would say those match well with the player Arizona will be looking for in their rebuild.
Pick 5 (29th overall)
Select: Patrick Money, DE, 175 TPE
San Jose needs a defensive end as they have none currently in their NSFL roster, so they will address the position by selecting Patrick Money, the best defensive end available in the board at the moment. Money, or user Pmoney is a max earner who is active in both in discord and forums, and wrote some media articles such as one very helpful piece, which was a mock expansion draft. Money will be great addition to both San Jose defense and locker rooms.
Pick 6 (30th overall)
from
Select: Eric Barlow, S, 178 TPE
Philadelphia is in need of a safety as all three in their roster are in regression as of this offseason. They will remedy that problem by selecting Barlow, the best available player of the position. Barlow is a very vocal and enthusiastic member of the community, often spearheading changes and having strong opinions for what he believes to be right. He wrote numerous article including several mock drafts where he demonstrated his analytical skills, and is one of the most active members in Dallas Birddogs locker room. Barlow, with his great personality and analytical skills, will be a great asset for Philadelphia locker room as well as the defensive backfield.
Pick 7 (31st overall)
from
Select: Calvin Golladay, OL, 184 TPE
This pick might feel like a shocker. However, I believe that after stego's article about value of human offensive linemen went viral, the value of the position went up enough to have some of them drafted in high rounds that they deserve. Golladay is the top TPE lineman in thisbdraft class, and is an active member in both forum and discord. Honolulu will select Golladay in order to provide adequate protections to their new quarterback Corvo Havran, and they will get hisblocker room presense, too.
Pick 8 (32nd overall)
Select: Deshun Jones, DT, 193 TPE
Jones is another victim of 'DT slide' along with Magic. However, Yellowknife will be very happy that he is still available in this pick, select him, and call him a steal pick as they have a need in defensive tackle position because they have only one defensive tackle, GiannisbKrousitis, who will enter regression this offseason. Jones is another active member of Birddogs locker room, and wrote quite a few interesting media pieces including several phenomenal statistical analysis works like 'how intelligence stat affect penalties'. Jones will be a very valueable asset for Yellowknife both as a player and as a locker room presence and further, a war room asset.
Pick 9 (33rd overall)
Cadillac Harris, CB, 183 TPE
Colorado needs two cornerbacks as both of their cornerbacks in the roster will be in regression after this offseason. So they select second cornerback of the draft after Tyler Oles Jr in Cadillac Harris. Harris, apart of being a good cornerback and a max earner, is a regular face in NSFL general discord, oftenseen in night. He is very vocal, has strong opinions, and starts many conversations. Those will be very much welcomed in Yellowknife, as Harris will bring his presence and skills there.
Pick 10 (34th overall)
from
Select: Wesley Erikssen, S, 178 TPE
Sarasota build up a strong rookie secondary duo as they select Erikssen after they selected Eldrick Avery with their previous pick. Erikssen is very active on several discord servers, and seemed like a good individual to get along with from what I observed although I do not have any direct interactions with him. As Sarasota will need as much active locker room members as possible, Erikssen, who is an active participant in conversations, will be welcomed with open arms in Sarasota because of his presense and skills.
Pick 11 (35th overall)
Select: Andrew Witten, CB, 180 TPE
Baltimore continue to patch holes in their secondary as they select cornerback Andrew witten with their third pick of the draft. Even though they drafted Thubba Bumper earlier, Baltimore will need multiple corners as there will be at least teo anticipated vacancies in next season. Witten will be a good candidate to fill said gap as a max earner who is acrive in discord and wrote many media including several very helpful draft prospect analysis pieces and a 'bog board'. Witten will be a welcome addition to Baltimore with his activeness and analytical skills.
Pick 12 (36th overall)
Select: Haha Mango- Panda, LB, 169TPE
Orange county finally looks to the defensive side of the ball and select Haha Mango-Panda as their first defensive player selected in the draft. Mango-Panda another active member of Birddogs locker room, had recently wrote several media pieces including a mock draft. He is also a very pleasant individual to interact with, as I can attest from my many conversations with him. Panda will Join his fellow Birddog teammate Jeffery Phillips in Orange county and bring his skills and great personality there.
round 1
Pick 1(1st overall)

Select: Colt Mendoza, CB, 180 TPE
This might be a surprising pick for some people. But for people who heard some rumors lately, it wouldn't be surprising at all. Mendoza- user iStegosauruz- had significantly changed the paradigm of NSFL game playing scouting and player development through the statistical analysis pieces he wrote. Stego, with his incredible sim testing and analytical skills, will be a highly valueable addition to any NSFL team's war room, and will be considered a prime GM candidate when a spot opens and he is willing. However, Colt Mendoza as a player is also one of the top CB prospects, so it will be another point scored for Austin who need a Cornerback to guard the field opposite Dermot Lavelle Jr.
Pick 2 (2nd overall)

Select: Magnus Rikiya, DT, 198TPE
New Orleans doesn't have that many holes in their roster. So they are one of the few teams that can afford to draft players they want instead of players they need. The fact that New Orleans, a relatively 'affluent' team in roster perspective as I said, traded up 10 spots in the first round means that they are aiming for a specific player whom they badly want.

De ville isn't the highest TPE linebacker in the draft class, but he certainly has potential to rise up as one when he continues to max earn like he does now.
Pick 7 (7th overall)

Select: Stanislaw Koniecpolski, LB, 229 TPE
Honolulu, as an expansion team, has a need in every position. Especially, they need a veteran user presence in the locker rooms to build a healthy and welcoming locker room culture early in the team's history. In this point, there are two candidates for this role, Tyler Oles Jr. And Stanislaw Koniecpolski.

Pick 10 (10th overall)

Select: Matt 'son of a havoc' Cross, S, 200 TPE
New Orleans's need in this pick is mainly safety and wide receiver. They have only one safety- Mayson Blaylock- in the NSFL roster, while Bona'beri Jones is deep into regression and Jed Podolak has a possibility of being taken away in the expansion draft.
