Hey guys. @tMuse and I took our time and tried to do our first own NSFL mock draft. First, we looked at all the teams to determine their needs with different priorities. Thereby we just assumed that all contracts ending after this season won’t be renewed. After working out the needs for the 12 teams, we sorted the players eligible for the S 21 draft and picked them. As we don’t know much about the users yet, for each pick we only decided to look at the position needed and total TPE instead of favouring known user names. We started with the draft after week 12 and used that pick order and the expiring contracts from that time.
Here are the team needs, we determined:
Honolulu Hahalua: All

With those needs in mind, we did the following draft itself:
Round One:
1)
Austin Copperheads (traded from Honolulu): Phat Boi (BadLck) - Kansas City Coyotes - DT - TPE 236
With the first overall pick the Austin Copperheads address one of their biggest needs and pick the player with the most TPE and best DT by far. Phat Boi from the Kansas City Coyotes
2)
New Orleans Second Line (traded from Sarasota): Troen Egghands (Troen) - Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - DE - TPE 201
With a rich selection of QBs, WRs, Ss and Phat Boi being picked, New Orleans Second Line secures Troen Egghands. By far the best DE in the current class from the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers.

Arizona Outlaws: Jeffrey Phillips (DrunkenTeddy) - Dallas Birddogs - TE - TPE 228
With many top DEs and Ss still available the Arizona Outlaws secure Jeffrey Phillips. They fulfill one of their biggest needs with picking a TE and also get the best TE in the class from the Dallas Birddogs.

Philadelphia Liberty: Stanis?aw Koniecpolski (majesiu) - Dallas Birddogs - LB - TPE 229
With Philadelphia Liberty having two straight picks they can fulfill two needs in a row. They secure Stanis?aw Koniecpolski from the Dallas Birddogs, with their first pick. Philadelphia Liberty needs a LB and Stanis?aw Koniecpolski is the top of his class - no questions asked.
5) Philadelphia Liberty (traded from Chicago): Tyler Oles JR (To12143) - Portland Pythons - CB - TPE 215
With their second pick Philadelphia Liberty secures Tyler Oles JR - the top CB of his class from the Portland Pythons. Tyler Oles JR also has the 6th most TPE in the whole class making him a top tier pick.

San Jose SaberCats: Sandro Ryeu (s4ndr0p) - London Royals - DE - TPE 185
There are still many top tier WRs, CBs, and RBs available, so the San Jose SaberCats pick Sandro Ryeu from the London Royals to fill their need for a top of the class DE.
7)
Honolulu Hahalua (traded from Austin Copperheads): White Goodman (gucci) - Dallas Birddogs - RB - TPE 221
The Honolulu Hahaluas still need everything except a QB, so they pick White Goodman from the Dallas Birddogs. White Goodman is the player with the most TPE that is still available. That way they get a strong player and also fill an important role with a RB.

Yellowknife Wraiths: Magnus Rikiya (Tesla) - Norfolk SeaWolves - DT - TPE 198
The Yellowknife Wraiths have many needs. But many top tier WRs, TEs, CBs and Ss are still available so there is no real need to draft them that early. It was a close call between Magnus Rikiya as a DT and Patrik Money as a DE - both positions are kinda sparse TPE wise - but in the end the Yellowknife Wraiths decide to pick Magnus Rikiya from the Norfolk SeaWolves.
9)
Colorado Yeti: Derred de Ville (Exilizer) - London Royals - LB - TPE 205
For their first pick the Colorado Yetis pick Derred de Ville from the London Royals. With still many top tier WRs and CBs available there is no pressure in picking them early. Derred de Ville has a nice gap of 27 TPE to his next contender, so the Yetis fulfill their need of a LB in picking him.
10) New Orleans Second Line: Jim Waters (siddhus) - Tijuana Luchadores - QB - TPE 190
With their second pick New Orleans Second Line pick Jim Waters from the Tijuana Luchadores. New Orleans Second Line need a QB and Jim Waters is the best QB available with Colby Jack being locked for the Yellowknife Wraiths and Monterey "Monty" Jack being locked for the San Jose SaberCats.
11)
Baltimore Hawks: Octavio Clemente (Billybolo53) - Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - DT - TPE 197
With their first pick the Baltimore Hawks secure Octavio Clemente from the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. There are still many top tier CBs open. LBs are so close together and the Hawks need a DT more than a TE so they pick Octavio Clemente.

Orange County Otters: Deshun Jones (Forty Jordy) - Dallas Birddogs - DT - TPE 193
The Orange County Otters secure Deshun Jones from the Dallas Birddogs as their first pick. With still many top of the line RBs and TEs open the Orange County Otters focus on a DT first.
Round Two:
13)
Sarasota Sailfish: Mo "Mamba" Magic (thevoicelesscreator) - Minnesota Grey Ducks - DT - TPE 188
With the first pick in the franchise history of Sarasota, they select DT Mo “Mamba” Magic from the Minnesota Grey Ducks, because there isn’t much depth left at the position with a big gap in TPE after him and Big Edd.
14) Honolulu Hahalua: Brandon Booker (Memento Mori) - Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - CB - TPE 200
Honolulu still has needs at most positions, so they pick CB Brandon Booker from the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers as one of the players with the most TPE left on the board.
15) Arizona Outlaws: Matt "Son of Havoc" Cross (J0EB) - Norfolk SeaWolves - S - TPE 200
The Outlaws still have two big needs at S and DE. With two picks in a row, they can safely target both positions. First, they select the first S in the draft with Matt “Son of Havoc” Cross from the Norfolk SeaWolves.
16) Arizona Outlaws (traded from Philadelphia Liberty): Patrik Money (PMoney) - Kansas City Coyotes - DE - TPE 175
With their second pick in round 2, the Outlaws go for DE Patrik Money from Kansas City as their new starting DE and as important piece and leader of their defense for years to come.
17) Philadelphia Liberty (traded from Chicago Butchers): Big Edd (Big Edd) - Dallas Birddogs - DT - TPE 169
Philadelphia is really happy that Big Edd from Dallas is left on the board. They can fulfill one of their biggest needs and take the last DT before a big gap of 34 TPE to the next one.
18) San Jose SaberCats: Monterey “Monty” Jack (Rradum) - Dallas Birddogs - QB - TPE 209
The SaberCats need to take their GM recreate Monterey “Monty” Jack here and are happy to have such a good QB for the future.
19) Austin Copperheads: Acura Skyline (Skyline) - London Royals - RB - TPE 199
Austin selects Acura Skyline from the London Royals to be their number two RB after Mako Mendonca. With no second RB in the team or in the DSFL they desperately need someone to take some workload off Mendonca.
20) Yellowknife Wraiths: Colby Jack (flyeaglesfly29) - London Royals - QB - TPE 222
The Wraiths need to pick the number 1 pick from the DSFL draft last season as a recreate from GM flyeaglesfly20 and lock up maybe the biggest QB talent available in the draft.
21) Colorado Yeti: William Lim (yonggarius) - Dallas Birddogs - WR - TPE 197
Colorado needs a young promising WR. With James Bishop being at the end of his career, they choose William Lim from Dallas as replacement and pick the first WR off the draft board.
22) New Orleans Second Line: Eddie Jeeta (QuirkyTurtle) - Kansas City Coyotes - TPE 195
Similar situation for New Orleans. Bona’beri Jones might go in his last season of his carreer and they only have Jed Podolak left at the position.
23)
Chicago Butchers: Benson Bayley Jr. (BayleyIsland) - Dallas Birddogs - LB - TPE 153
Chicago has that many draft picks in the first few rounds, so they can easily select a lower TPE player with Benson Bayley Jr. - Joking aside, this is another forced pick by being a recreate of a GM.
24) Orange County Otters: Kichwa Jones (howsour) - Dallas Birddogs - RB - TPE 196
Another player from the expansion team Dallas gets selected here with RB Kichwa Jones. The Orange County Otters really need the position with Siddhu Sarveplaly retiring after season 21 and Ludicolo Bigby not having a contract with the team anymore.
Round Three:
25) Honolulu Hahalua: Michael Witheblock (sakrosankt) - Kansas City Coyotes - WR - TPE 191
With their third pick the Honolulu Hahaluas select Michael Whiteblock from the Kansas City Coyotes and with that they get a top of the line WR. The Honolulu Hahaluas focus on picking strong active players in favor of building a strong foundation for their new team.
26) Sarasota Sailfish: Ben Slothlisberger (slothfacekilla) - Tijuana Luchadores - QB - TPE 184
Sarasota still needs to pick their franchise QB for the future. With Ben Slothlisberger having the most TPE of the candidates left, they select the play maker from the Tijuana Luchadores.
27) Arizona Outlaws: Tatsu Nakamura (qWest) - Portland Pythons - RB - TPE 193
In their 4th pick the Arizona Outlaws face a tough decision, but they select Tatsu Nakamura from the Portland Pythons and with that they secure one of the best RB in the class. Tatsu Nakamura has a 20 TPE lead to the next RB so they favor TPE over a bigger need in this pick.
28) Baltimore Hawks (traded from Philadelphia Liberty): Heath Evans (Feeler) - Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - TE - TPE 195
The Hawks decide to end the experiment without a real TE in their team and draft the best one available on the board with Heath Evans from the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. With 195 TPE he’ also the player with the most TPE left besides CB Eldrick Avery, CB Zamir Kehla and S Buck Thomton.
29) Philadelphia Liberty (traded from Chicago Butchers): Slinky Claxton (Shiznit19) - Portland Pythons - DE - TPE 168
Philadelphia Liberty selected Slinky Claxton from the Portland Pythons to boost their DEs and with that they secure their last core need for this draft. After Slinky Claxton is gone the DEs drop fast in TPE so Philadelphia Liberty secured a good DE.
30) San Jose SaberCats: Jamar Lackson (BenDover) - Minnesota Grey Ducks - RB - TPE 173
The SaberCats face a tough decision with big needs left in WR, CB and RB. With only two great RBs on the board in contrast to much more WRs and CBs, they chose to pick Jamar Lackson from the Minnesota Grey Ducks to help them building a strong young offensive core.
31) Honolulu Hahalua (traded from Austin Copperheads): Buck Thornton (FurFurFurson) - Minnesota Grey Ducks - S - TPE 195
The Honolulu Hahalua secured Buck Thornton from the Minnesota Grey Ducks. Again the Honolulu Hahalua looked mostly at TPE but also got another position they didn’t fill yet. With this pick the Honolulu Hahalua further strengthen their young team.
32) Yellowknife Wraiths: Thomas Passmann (StamkosFan) - Tijuana Luchadores - WR - TPE 186
Another difficult decision here. Yellowknife has many holes to fill. They think about drafting a TE here, but ultimatively go for WR Thomas Passman from the Luchadores. With the contracts of Nate Swift and Rayne Gordon expiring, they desperately need a second WR besides Bender B. Rodriguez.
33) Colorado Yeti: Richard Gilbert (SwankyPants31) - Tijuana Luchadores - RB - TPE 172
With this pick the Colorado Yetis select Richard Gilbert from the Tijuana Luchadores. Richard Gilbert is the last of the top tier RBs in this class with an almost 40 TPE cliff behind him. They picked a RB over a CB as there are still many undrafted top tier CBs in this class.
34) Sarasota Sailfish (traded from New Orleans Second Line): Eldrick Avery (RansackTheUniverse) - London Royals - CB - TPE 195
After having WR, RB and QB locked up, the Sarasota Sailfish decide to pick the highest TPE player left on the board and strengthen their defense with CB Eldrick Avery from the London Royals.
35) Baltimore Hawks: Zamir Kehla (retrospace111) - Portland Pythons - CB - TPE 195
The Baltimore Hawks fill their biggest hole with Zamir Kehla from the Portland Pythons. This CB is one of the top earner of this class and he can help them big time. The Baltimore Hawks had an urgent need for a CB and Zamir Kehla is just the guy they needed.
36) Orange County Otters: Daniel George (dk87gaming) - Portland Pythons - TE - TPE 182
Orange County is happy to fill their biggest need left with TE Daniel George from the Portland Pythons as the last of the top three TEs in this draft class. They’re glad they don’t have to take the next TE available with James Angler being 31 points behind and just being a bad person.
Round Four:
37) Sarasota Sailfish: Johnny Hellzapoppin (Colabear) - Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - S - TPE 194
The Sarasota Sailfishs decide to pick Johnny Hellzapoppin from the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. With his 194 TPE Johnny Hellzapoppin is a great young addition for the Sarasota Sailfishs as he also fills a position they didn’t have prior.
38) Honolulu Hahalua: Thubba Bumper (baueranthony9) - Norfolk SeaWolves - CB - TPE 193
Honolulu Hahalua decides to take their second CB in this draft with their 5th pick. They will line up Thubba Bumper on the other side of Brandon Booker and further strengthen their defensive with this young player.
39) Arizona Outlaws: Susan Cash. Jr (2Burkeulosis) - London Royals - WR - TPE 177
With two picks in a row, the Arizona Outlaws can target two big needs left. First, they select WR Susan Cash. Jr from the London Royals. He will be the third best WR behind Saba Donut and Jah Bur´Berry for the next season.
40) Arizona Outlaws (traded from Philadelphia Liberty): James Cho (cho1325) - Dallas Birddogs - DE - TPE 164
The Outlaws can also fill their empty DE spot with Joseph Henry being inactive, in regression and not having a contract for the upcoming season. James Cho is by far the best DE still available and they are happy to get him with this pick.
41) Austin Copperheads (traded from Chicago Butchers): William Alexander (morsy) - Minnesota Grey Ducks - WR - TPE 166
With having two picks almost back to back the Austin Copperheads go for William Alexander from the Minnesota Grey Ducks. William Alexander, compared to Nick Kaepercolin, is just in another class. He has 3 more TPE and is just a WAY better human being.
42) San Jose SaberCats: Nick Kaepercolin (Highhaschdi) - London Royals - WR - TPE 163
The San Jose SaberCats lose on this pick in my opinion. Getting Nick Kaepercolin from the London Royals on your team is just one of the toughest things that can happen to any team. So they pick him to trade him away for a better player later.
43) Austin Copperheads: Cadillac Harris (tractorcito_grande) - London Royals - CB - TPE 183
The next player from the London Royals gets picked here. Easy decision for the Austin Copperheads to pick a CB here and Cadillac Harris is the best one available.
44) Yellowknife Wraiths: Quinn Hughes (Isidore94) - London Royals - S - TPE 190
The Yellowknife Wraiths secure Quinn Hughes from the London Royals as one of the best S in the class. He is a great addition to the team as the Yellowknife Wraiths need a S.
45) Colorado Yeti: Chester Sweets (revuhlution) - Kansas City Coyotes - CB - TPE 182
With almost no CB on their team the Colorado Yetis pick Chester Sweets from the Kansas City Coyotes. Chester Sweets is still one of the best CB available in his class and a great addition for the Colorado Yetis.
46) New Orleans Second Line: Nuniq Annastesia (Brucehum) - Kansas City Coyotes - DT - TPE 135
New Orleans Second Line are thinking about picking a S or DT here. With many good Ss still on the board and DT not having much depth left, they decide to take Nuniq Annastesia from the Kansas City Coyotes.
47) Baltimore Hawks: Lawrence Bass (RussDrivesTheBus) - Minnesota Grey Ducks - LB - TPE 178
The Baltimore Hawks need a new LB on their Team so they select Lawrence Bass from the Minnesota Grey Ducks. With still some good WRs on the table they focus on the LB position in this pick.
48) Orange County Otters: Julio Tirtawidjaja (indonesianhusker) - Tijuana Luchadores - RB - TPE 137
With still many good LBs available the Orange County Otters decide to go with Julio Tirtawidjaja from the Tijuana Luchadores as one of their new RBs. He is not the best in his class but RBs are getting sparse so they still secure a good one with this pick.
Round Five:
49) Honolulu Hahalua: Calvin Golladay (CalvinGolladay) - Tijuana Luchadores - OL - TPE 184
With Calvin Golladay from the Tijuana Luchadores being the player that has the most TPE and that is still available the Honolulu Hahaluas pick him to further improve their young team with high TPE earners. Also Calvin Golladay is one of the few players at the OL position which makes him an overall great pick for the Honolulu Hahaluas.
50) Sarasota Sailfish: Colt Mendoza (iStegosauruz) - Dallas Birddogs - CB - TPE 180
With having QB, WR,RB,S, CB and DT on the team and still needing many positions, the Sarasota Sailfish decide to go for their second CB here with Colt Mendoza from the Dallas Birddogs. He will be lining up on the opposite side of Eldrick Avery.
51) Arizona Outlaws: Andrew Witten (mithrandir) - Tijuana Luchadores - CB - TPE 180
The Arizona Outlaws have three picks in a row. With their first of the three picks they secure Andrew Witten from the Tijuana Luchadores as their CB. He is still one of the top CBs in his class which makes him an excellent pick.
52) Arizona Outlaws (traded from Philadelphia Liberty): Fawn Dillmiballs (enforcer) - Kansas City Coyotes - LB - TPE 171
In their second of the three picks the Arizona Outlaws select Fawn Dillmiballs from the Kansas City Coyotes. Fawn Dillmiballs is one of the few high earning LBs left in this class.
53) Arizona Outlaws (traded from Chicago Butchers): Kevin Koh (Coterminity) - Norfolk SeaWolves - WR - TPE 154
With their last pick in this round, the Arizona Outlaws go a bit surprising for more depth in the offense with picking up their second WR this year in Kevin Koh from the Norfolk Seawolves. He’ll likely compete with Cash. Jr for the third WR place for the Arizona Outlaws.
54) San Jose SaberCats: Ben Stackinpaper (benstackinpaper) - London Royals - CB - TPE 166
The San Jose SaberCats can address their last big need in CB with this pick. Ben Stackinpaper is with 16 TPE difference the best one available and will be an important piece of the future from San Jose.
55) Honolulu Hahalua (traded from Austin Copperheads): Luke Skywalker (muse316) - Norfolk SeaWolves - QB - TPE 172
The Honolulu Hahaluas secure their QB offspring with Luke Skywalker from the Norfolk SeaWolves. The Honolulu Hahaluas go for a QB instead of pure TPE in this pick as their QB is already in regression and they could need a new good young QB. Luke Skywalker will definitely play one or two, maybe even three, more seasons in the DSFL before going up and replacing Corvo Havran in the NSFL.
56) Yellowknife Wraiths: James Angler (tMuse) - Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - TPE 151
Unfortunately, the Yellowknife Wraiths need to select a TE here. They stop playing without a real one and draft the one with the highest TPE available in James Angler from the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. They strongly consider going for Donatello Arrabiata with 17 TPE less, but at the end they decide to try it with Angler.
57) Philadelphia Liberty (traded from Colorado Yeti): Mike Lee (youngcricket) - Dallas Birddogs - WR - TPE 146
With not many good WRs left on the board the Philadelphia Liberty select Mike Lee from the Dallas Birddogs. Mike Lee is not the best WR TPE wise but that doesn’t mean that he can’t help the Philadelphia Liberty big time.
58) Sarasota Sailfish (traded from New Orleans Second Line): Bruce Buckley (NicholasTheGreat) - Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - OL - TPE 179
And there goes the second OL in this draft class. The Sarasota Sailfish go with highest TPE left and hope that Bruce Buckley will be a great addition to the team and help protect Ben Slothlisberger in the years to come.
59) Baltimore Hawks: Leeroy Jenkins (dahayn) - Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - WR - TPE 145
Leeroy Jenkins from the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers is one of the two last good WRs in his class so the Baltimore Hawks select a WR over their other needs to secure a good one in this pick before being left without one.
60) Orange County Otters: Simeon Works (juicychase) - London Royals - DE - TPE 136
The Orange County Otters are looking at DE and LB here. Ultimately they go for Simeon Works from the London Royals, because they need a second active DE besides Gary Lazer-Eyes and Works is clearly the best one left on the board.
Round Six:
61) Honolulu Hahalua: Haha Mango-Panda (furiousPanda) - Dallas Birddogs - LB - 169
The Honolulu Hahaluas are still without a LB in round six so they secure Haha Mango-Panda from the Dallas Birddogs in this round. Haha Mango-Panda doesn’t have the most TPE out of the available players but he fills another role the Honolulu Hahaluas don’t have yet.
62) Sarasota Sailfish: Wesley Eriksen (Lightnoir) - Norfolk SeaWolves - S - TPE 178
Sarasota selects the highest TPE player left and their second S in this draft after Johnny Hellzapoppin. They can combine another need with highest TPE in this one.
63) Arizona Outlaws: Eric Barlow (Thiath) - Dallas Birddogs - S - TPE 178
With almost every need filled the Arizona Outlaws select Eric Barlow from the Dallas Birddogs. That brings the Arizona Outlaws down to only one small need - a DT.
64) Philadelphia Liberty: Hank Steel (DrChops) - Portland Pythons - DT - TPE 132
Philadelphia Liberty needs to think for a long time about this one. They’re tending between S Sebastian Vettel, LB George Fisher and DT Hank Steel. At the end, they go for their biggest need left instead of higher TPE.
65) Chicago Butchers: Tom Sofa (NamelessNate) - Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - QB - TPE 161
The Chicago Butchers have a really though draft this season. It is round six and this is only their second pick. They urgently need a new QB so they secure Tom Sofa from the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers in this round. Tom Sofa doesn’t have the most TPE in his class but he leaves a big gap of 27 TPE behind him. He is still a good QB nonetheless.
66) San Jose SaberCats: Garfield Despacito Jr. (Gwdjohnson) - Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - WR - TPE 142
With all the WRs contracts expiring after this season, the San Jose SaberCats pick their second WR in this draft after Nick Kaepercolin to further build a young offense.
67) Baltimore Hawks (traded from Austin Copperheads): Matthew McDairmid (Matty7478) - Kansas City Coyotes - K/P - TPE 176
With Matthew McDairmid from the Kansas City Coyotes somehow still open, the Baltimore Hawks get a nice steal here by picking the best K/P in the class. The Baltimore Hawks also have two picks in this round so they won’t lose too much by not selecting a DE, CB or LB in this pick.
68) Yellowknife Wraiths: Jonathan Altidor (ralams123) - Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - CB - TPE 148
The Yellowknife Wraiths are still looking to fill holes at DE, CB and RB. For all these positions, there aren’t much high TPE players left. Therefore, they decide to take the one with the highest TPE for these position groups available with CB Jonathan Altidor from the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers.
69) Colorado Yeti: Suleiman Ramza (Blasoon) - Norfolk SeaWolves - QB - TPE 134
The Colorado Yetis are still looking for CB, QB and DE. There are only two QBs left and Suleiman Ramza from the Norfolk SeaWolves leaves a gap of 48 TPE behind him so they secure the better QB instead of going with one of the other positions.
70) New Orleans Second Line: Sebastian Vettel (Phalanx32) - Minnesota Grey Ducks - S - TPE 174
Pretty easy pick here for the New Orleans Second Line. They can address their biggest need left in S by picking the player with the second most TPE still availabe after OL Byron Dolls. This might be another steal, taking a player with so much TPE at the end of the 6th round.
71) Baltimore Hawks: Mario VonPebbles (Jangorhino) - Minnesota Grey Ducks - DE - TPE 120
This is one of the tougher picks for the Baltimore Hawks. They’re looking at DE, CB and LB here but they decide to go with Mario VonPebbles from the Minnesota Grey Ducks and fill their bigger need with a DE here.
72) Orange County Otters: Mark Radson (Ayyylmao) - Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - LB - TPE 157
