We are cruising through DSFL S22 and I'm starting to feel sentimental. I've forged some amazing friendships in Minnesota. A pandemic has kept everyone inside and these guys have helped keep me from going crazy. Now, I'm not sure where I'll be next season. I may be in Minnesota, I may be called up. But for the sake of mushy feelings in our exercise, let's assume I am called up. These are the guys that I'll miss the most and ranked because everyone likes a list.
1. Sim Snowbow @SnowyWolfz
Chances are Snowy will be in Minnesota next year so if I am too, this will be my consolation prize. Snowy is probably a top 10 NSFL Waifu (another list for another time) and is extremely popular across the league. You will find him in several lists of best people in the league. Snowy and I have a special bond. When he gets sucked into Tarkov, I have withdrawals. Sometimes I lie awake at night and plead with God to give Snowy a uterus.
2. Jamar Lackson @BenDover
I've probably underrated Jamar as a teammate. But I'm finally giving him the recognition he deserves. Whenever I pop into #General to do some clownfoolery, he's been there to back me up without me having to ask. He's also a great workout partner. He makes sure I get my TPE. He'll be an excellent locker room guy in San Jose on top of his franchise player potential.
3. Mario Von Pebbles @Jangorhino
Out of everyone on this list, I've probably talked with Mario more. He's up all night which works out for my schedule. He gives plenty of advice on the league and life in general. He's a little insane but he's got a great heart and is a fantastic teammate. I would take all the bullet wounds all over again with this guy.
4. Tychondrius Hood @Tylus :dsfl:
The addition of Tychondrius brought out the best in me as a player. He's a great person and takes the responsibilities of this league very seriously. He's making sure everyone in the locker room is getting their TPE. I truly feel he is partly responsible for me becoming a good earner. I know we probably won't be teammates in the NSFL so I will cherish the remainder of this season with him.
5. Kai Sakura @DarknessRising :dsfl:
Like Tychondrius Hood, Kai Sakura has put a healthy heat on me to make sure I'm staying on top of things. He's on the other side of the globe, but I've had plenty of great interactions with him. Plus, he's Australian and helped cross an item off of my bucket list when he called me the C-word.
Dishonorable mentions:
@Dewalt27 (he tried to kiss me)
@CLG Rampage (he sux lmao)
But seriously, I feel blessed to have been drafted by Minnesota because they really do have great GMs who value player development. I've been on Rampage's fantastic podcast and we probably hung out for three hours after that. He's a great guy to talk to and holds a breadth of knowledge. As far as Dewalt, he contributes to Minnesota's chemistry and culture in ways I can't describe because I don't want to get fined.
