Welcome to this week's CB TPE analysis
Intro:
With the start of the new season, Highhaschdi and I decided to analyse the TPE of the S23 WR, RB, CB and LB this time round and tried to put some numbers into perspective.
Similar to last season, we looked at the total TPE, the date of the last update, the tier of equipment, their bank balance some minutes before posting this thread and the weekly TPE gain, which we divided into three sections. First the "Total Gain" in the table below is the official TPE gain with the update this week. The "Adjusted Gain" includes only the activities and tasks that could be claimed in this specific week. In the second table you can see which activities count for the "Adjusted Gain" this week, if the players did them and how many points they earned for each task. It doesn't contain things that can be done in any week like equipment upgrade or wiki. It also doesn't include things like predictions claimed for earlier weeks. All these gains are added in the column for "Other Gain".
As addition to our tables last season, this year we also include the tasks done this week and tasks done total for the whole season, as our analysis will be posted each week till the NSFL draft.
Here is the first table of our analysis sorted by total TPE:

We see some movement here as Mikel some people missed some tasks and one player bought some new equip, but let's get into more detail.
Ray-Ray Jackson was the one with the biggest gain with 22 TPE this week. He also has almost $8m in his bank account and is still at T0 equip, so even if he loses some spots it's fairly easy for him to just buy some middle tier equip and rise to the top again.
Mikel van Perkins only gained 14 TPE this week, which is one of the lowest results in his group as he missed two tasks this week. He has almost drained his bank account being at $-200k that means he needs to gain some money to even be able to afford his + 5 Weekly training.
Tomage McGullager did every task and has the 2nd biggest TPE gain with 31 TPE this week. He did every task which is great. But he has a huge problem with being at $-1,8m he can't even afford the cheap training at the moment which puts him at a huge risk of losing some spots.
Jason Young missed some tasks but still gained the most TPE with 36 as he purchased T4 equipment and upgraded his T1 equipment in this way. BUT he also has a big red number in his bank account. Sitting at clean $-2m is no fun, no training no purchases no nothing.
Leasean Paris Crooks did every task and he also has that huge upgrade possibility with almost $10m and T0 equip he can gain much TPE quite easily.
Bennan Kennedy is the last player I will cover in this group (as the others didn't do an update this week) he only did 2 tasks and that's fine, not everyone is a max earner, he also has $1m left in his bank account which should be enough to cover training for the rest of the season
Some sidenotes: Ray-Ray Jackson and Lesean Paris Crooks are the only two player who completed every point task so far. Hats of for that! Keep it up.
The adjusted gains will be analysed below the second table. This one is sorted by the Adjusted Gain for this week:

Here we see how the adjusted gain got put together.
A pretty close race between Ray-Ray Jackson who just predicts super solid and Tomage McGullager.
Tomage McGullager also gained 10 TPE from a Wiki PT he did and claimed. (Do your Special Tasks guys! They're awesome TPE)
Lesean Paris Crooks did gain 2 TPE from his Rookie Task 4 which he completed just now.
Mikel van Perkins missed two tasks and missed a possible of 6 TPE this week in this way.
Jason Young our top earner this week with 36 TPE total claimed his Week 1 Prediction from last week while also doing his Rookie Training Camp those tasks + T1 -> T4 Equipment gained him a nice amount of TPE even though he just completed 4 out of 7 tasks this week.
Brennan Kennedy is somewhat interesting I think. He did his AC and his Week 3 Predictions but somehow he missed out on his weekly training even though he has $1m in his bank account.
Thanks for reading, that wraps up week 2 of the CBs. See you in the other threads!
