Seen here is star defensive back for the Toronto Rush, Ben Alexander-Arnold, landing in Tijuana, Mexico for a meeting with unknown parties at the Luchadore facilities. There is a strong link between the Canadian team from the SCSFL and the Luchadores, as the current Rush GM's previously managed in Tijuana and won the franchise a championship in S13. Speculation on what the meeting could be about has started to arise with some rumours that Alexander-Arnold might declare for the S24 DSFL draft appearing. It is also noted that Tijuana currently holds a high waiver priority if the young cornerback was to make himself available in the DSFL before the draft, although with the Rush about to enter the SCSFL playoffs it seems unlikely that would happen any time soon. Alexander-Arnold will have finished his contract in Toronto after this season, if he was to make the move south to Mexico it would take a lot of effort to continue to play in both leagues although the schedules do not have a lot of overlap. It may be possible to play in both leagues provided both of his prospective teams are ok with it.
Alexander-Arnold who is originally from Liverpool, England started playing for the Rush at the young age of 16. Currently in his third season with the team he has had somewhat of a breakout season with eight interceptions and six sacks. Eager Tijuana fans wanting to see the potential new addition can watch him in action in the SCSFL playoffs against the Australian team here tomorrow: https://www.twitch.tv/supercasualsimfootball
