hi! everything is going well dude, thanks. yeah, its a bummer not being around you and all the grey ducks crew everyday. Chicago is a great fit! there's a bunch of nice people in the LR and no egos at all. its super laid back. My holiday is going pretty good, just laying low. Taking it easy at home with a day off before heading back to tomorrow. Kicking it at home high af on ketamine and poppers.
We've had a interesting season to say the least in San Jose. How do you feel the season for Chicago has come along so far? Meeting expectations? What can you guys improve on for the stretch run of these last games?
Dude, the season is going shitty. Our team blows. both our teams are in the same boat, rebuild mode. we go 2 wins in chitown my dude. not acceptable. we're workign on it tho and i like our chances heading into next season and the team will def be in good position to win in the seasons after that. our preseason expectations were trash and thats about where we are, so yeah. the stretch run this season, fuck idk. we can maybe score more touchdowns. our offense is in a funk and we cant get right at all. our defense shows flashes but we really lack any kind of consistency in all facets of the game. it would be nice to see some better performances in the last part of the season to build some momentum into next season.
I'm back at FS this year until a call up comes up next season. Overall it's been a adjustment. The jump from the DSFL to NSFL has been interesting. I can really say much since I'm not at CB. But for you your anchoring that DL. How has the jump been for you? Anything that sticks out to being easier? Harder?
im super lucky cuz im getting lots of reps already. so, not a real big difference from that perspective, thankfully. my on field results have been ok so far. i got a some TFL and thats encouraging. its easier to chase qb in the nsfl cuz they pass more in this league so thats cool. now all i gotta do is catch them! its harder to get off one on one matchups in the nsfl and thats making me work extra harder. it'll be nice to get back to drawing doubles again and help the rest of the defensive scheme.
Of course. So you come in at the midway point. Having amassed 29 tackles, 12 TFL and 3 sacks. I feel those are solid numbers for a rookie? What are your thoughts? Are these meeting your expectations or goals you set out? And what goals do you have for the second half of the season?
yeah, the TFL are nice! im near the top of the rookie list in that stat and thats pretty dope. its gonna be nice to see the sack totals start creeping up into next season and beyond. i like smashing qb, a lot. i didn't really have any personal expectations outside of cutting it loose and having fun chasing qb. before the season started, in the back of my mind i was hoping to end up with like 10 sacks but that shit aint happening unles the second half is insane.
As long as your improving that's all that matters. Finally, I wanted to say your GFX for players are stunning and keep up the good work and also, can you change a oil filter? Just curious.
ty for the gfx love my dude. ive been working very hard for months now trying to get my gfx game up. its been a lot of fun and hopefully my newer stuff shows all the hard work. the gfx grind has been fruitful and i got a nice little stack building up in the bank. it would be nice to get some recognition form the gfx team, but thats whatever. lately ive been trying to focus more on the stuff they look for when they grade.
nobody has requested a sig from me in a while, so i just been making graphics for random people and posting them on twitter and shit. im not slowing down on creating until i hit 100m, thats been the goal since day one.
between gfx grind and trying to SIM 3000 games for every opponent and max earning ive been busy af. but its worth it, this league is rad and i love being involved and grinding for my sqaud and for that paper.
Oil Filters? nah man, i cant fuck with oil filters... no time in my day for that nonsense. when ever oil changing is required i bring in the pros. you gotta have strong man hands to get them pesky filters off. you cant get the filter off with tiny little baby burger king hands. no go.
One thing i'd like to bring up re: people responding to my rants about the graphics grading. that media i posted re: grades and being disappointed was my way of coping with being super disappointed about my grades. people seem to think i was trying to tell other people to suck it up or somehting and that wasnt the gist of that media at all. for real, i was trying to vent about being bummed out and spread some positivity. the fact that people threw that shit in my face really bums me out worse. its hard being misunderstood, but thats my jam; i get it.
its all good tho. just gonna keep doing my thing and hoping the money and the wins start catching up to the effort. know what im saying?
