Hello everyone,
It was brought to our attention that the official Yellowknife Wraiths Twitter account replied to a tweet by a player under contract with the San Jose Sabercats, where said player stated they were looking to change teams. The tweet has since been deleted, but here is a screenshot of it:

In the official NSFL rulebook, tampering is definited as "a player...approaching a player under contract with another team...with the purpose of persuading them to join [their] team." The player in question had stated that they were "thinking" about changing teams, and the Wraiths account replied with what was essentially a statement that they may be interested in signing said player.
Given the context of the tweet and the implications of the subsequent reply, Head Office has ruled that the manager of the Wraiths twitter account, @hihihi_62, is guilty of tampering. However, since there was no direct and explicit attempt at persuasion, HO has decided to enact only a fine of $2.5M. Both hihihi_62 and all the official team Twitter users have been issued a warning to avoid doing similar actions in the future.
As always, hihihi_62 is free to appeal this punishment with @iamslm22 or any other member of the appellate team.
Thank you, and please wear a mask and social distance.
