Welcome everyone and a very special welcome to the rookie class of S25. It seems like only yesterday that I was sucked into the world of simulation football via the S22 recruitment drive. It’s an exciting time for our young rookies and they have a lot of decisions to make. What position to play, what archetype will they pick, who their likeness is going to be, what stats should they boost first, and how will they contribute to the league? It’s a lot to take in but the one question I am interested in asking today is one that these rookies answered years ago. “What college should I go to?” Today we will look at the colleges and universities that the S25 class attended and see what we can find out about the ISFL’s newest stars.

Alright so first things first look at the size of this class. At 123 prospects this is one of the biggest classes in league history. Truly amazing stuff! Moving on the first thing I noticed when making this list was that we have two quarterbacks from Kent State. Both Owen Holloway and Trent Blackburn got their start playing for the Golden Flashes. While 2 QB lineups are not an uncommon sight in the year 2039 it is a bit strange to see both players declare for the draft at the same time. Especially considering that Holloway, the younger of the two, still had another year left but decided to forego the college spotlight in order to declare for this year's draft. Expect plenty of comparisons between these two players for years to come.
Next let's analyze the list itself. The Big 10 is the best represented college conference in the draft with 23 former alumni. Specifically the Big 10 West division with 14 players. As for which school has the most players in the draft it’s a 3-way tie between the Universities of Texas, Wisconsin, and Minnesota with each college providing 4 students to the draft.
Lastly I have a few other fast facts to share. Our 123 prospects hail from 84 different colleges and universities. Our 6 international prospects hail from Egypt, Australia, Canada, Indonesia, Argentina, and Scotland. We have 2 players who didn’t attend any sort of college, 1 who attended a community college, as well as 2 players who were either unable or unwilling to reveal the schools they attended.
