Well it is now midseason. Some teams have struggled, while others are clearly in the lead. Today we are going to look at every team and see how well their tight ends are doing. I did this for the preseason so we will see if these tight ends kept up with their preseason numbers, improved since then, or have gotten worse.
Portland Pythons:
We will start with how we started last time, with the Portland Pythons. Julian Joseph stats have not changed at all since the preseason. I was hopeful that he would accumulate at least some stats but I have been left disapointed. Dave Batista on the other hand has been very productive. His most major improvement is pancakes. Dave Batista had 0 pancakes in the preseason but Batista now has an impressive total of 13. Batista even adds 2 touchdowns to his stat sheet. He has been quite a weapon for his team!
POR Julian Joseph Pancakes:0 Rec:0 Yards:0 TD:0
POR Dave Batista Pancakes:13 Rec:23 Yards:162 TD:2
Kansas City Coyotes:
The Coyotes largely count on Rigby Raccoon to put up most of the stats. Raccoon put up the most impressive stat line out of any tight end in the DSFL. Raccoon has the most receptions and yards out of all of the tight ends, whic was not true coming out of the preseason. Historyof Tampering however, has remained largely the same. posting the same amount of pancakes, he only has improved in his receptions and yards. Between the two though, they combine for the most yards out of all the tight end groups. Rigby Raccoon is a clear candidate for Tight End of the Year!
KC Historyof Tampering Pan:3 Rec:6 Yards:36 TD:0
KC Rigby Raccoon Pan:11 Rec:35 Yards:382 TD:2
London Royals:
The London Royals have a very good tight end group. Joe Show, a former offensive lineman, improve a lot since his preseason debut. He even has a touchdown to his name. Tight end Frank Michell continues to impress with the third highest amount of yards and second most amount of receptions among tight ends. We should all keep an eye on this group, they are going to continue to impress.
LON Joe Show Pan:11 Rec:7 Yards:41 TD:1
LON Frank Michell Pan:6 Rec:32 Yards:297 TD:2
Minnesota Grey Ducks
Before the season started, it was largely speculated that Stephon Trummer would be the lead tight end on the Minnesota Grey Ducks. However, Cleg Manclaw has quickly stepped up to take over that role. Barely edging out Trummer, Manclaw has slowly started to take up most of the passing snaps for the Ducks. While the Ducks are a more run heavy team, keep an eye on Manclaw. Though there is one point where there has been regression, Manclaw put up 12 pancakes through 4 game in the preseason, he has not put up that number yet through 7 games. That has been viewed as a large dissapointment.
MIN Cleg manclaw Pan:11 Rec:10 Yards:54 TD:0
MIN Stephon Trummer Pan:5 Rec:9 Yards:47 TD:0
Norfolk Seawolves
The Norfolk Seawolves have some decent tighends on their roster. Krashwagen and Chick are both spectacular blockers and have combined for 22 total pancakes. In my preseason review I believed that Krashwagen would be one of the better tight ends in the league, but he has switched form a more pass dominate role to more of a blocker. He has the second most amount of pancakes among tight ends. I will be looking closely at him to see if he continues this trend or if he will fall off later in the season. The Seawolves other two tight ends Hopkins and Haugland have both still not put up any numbers, they did not put any numbers up on the preseason either.

NOR Ragnar Krashwagen Pan:15 Rec:18 Yards:164 TD:0
NOR CJ Hopkins Pan:0 Rec:0 Yards:0 TD:0
NOR Reynaud Haugland Pan:0 Rec:0 Yards:0 TD:0
Myrtle Beach Buccaneers
The Buccaneers have the the best group of blocking tight ends in the DSFL. With a massive total of 24 pancakes, this team knows how to lay out a defender. Lead by Dijibutee McJimmerson with 16, the highest amount of pancakes among tight ends, this group will probably continue to lead the league in pancakes. And we cannot forget Ne Mo. On top of being an elite blocking tight end group, Mo is near the lead for most receptions and yards. Do not sleep on Ne Mo, he is in the running for Tight End of the Year.

MB Gabr Spadle Pan:4 Rec:3 Yards:11 TD:0

Tijuana Luchadores
The Tijuana Luchadores continue to disappoint in their tight end group. Hardly any improvement has happened between the preseason and now at midseason. I thought there would be at least some improvement but there has been none. Hopefully this group can get it together and show out a bit more. But for now, I still believe this is the worst group of tight ends.
TIJ Colt Reinhorn Pan:0 Rec:1 Yards:5 TD:0
TIJ Jake Woodhead Pan:4 Rec:13 Yards:83 TD:0
TIJ Greg Young Pan:0 Rec:0 Yards:0 TD:0
Dallas Birddogs
The Dallas Birddogs have the most balanced group of tight ends in the. Both Skiuuup and Hex both have showed their presence on the field nearly totaling the most amount of yards in the league only being beaten out by 5 yards by the Kansas City Coyotes. Though they do have the most amount of receptions of all of the tight ends with a total of 50. This group will probably keep that record if they can work together.
DAL Cmon Skiuuup Pan:6 Rec:23 Yards:169 TD:0
DAL Tristan Hex Pan:9 Rec:27 Yards:244 TD:0
The tight ends this year have continued to impress everyone with the amount of contribution each one brings to their team. Each one will continue to improve every single week as well. I am very excited to see where each one will end up by the end of the year.
