This is Tom Teboat’s journey. His journey to become the greatest baseball star of all time (or so he thinks). All opinions and/or actions taken by him are his own decisions and do not reflect the views of the user pauadrian. Reader discretion is advised
Tom Teboat wakes up in his pitch dark bedroom. He just had a horrible nightmare, he just had a dream that he was just about to start his baseball career. He was on a baseball field in the bleachers waiting for his best friend (The Sanch) to show up and hit some baseballs. Tom Teboat isn’t any regular rookie though, he’s already been playing baseball. He’s actually a waiver pickup for the Tijuana Luchadores who are based in Mexico and play in the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). You might be wondering why he thinks he’s playing baseball when we’re in fact playing American football. Well it’s actually quite simple
The Sanch who as we established is his best friend. He recommended that Tom Teboat go ahead and try out for the Pro Baseball Experience. Somewhere along the way though Mr Teboat himself got on the wrong plane and instead of heading to Providence to meet his idol Jose 43 at the crabs. He actually headed to Tijuana. Now Tom Teboat didn’t think much of this difference in sport he knew because he figured maybe they do things a little different in Providence. He was a little confused though when nobody spoke English and everyone spoke some foreign language. How could he have known that he was actually going to start playing American football? When have we ever seen a good Mexican football player? It just doesn’t happen!
Tijuana needed a Tight End to help out during their championship push and they figured a body that would just stand there and catch the ball would be better than nothing so they took him and told him to play Third Base where he would occasionally catch the ball or push someone to the ground to cause a pancake. You know as baseball people do and all. Sadly though Tom Teboat’s inexperience with this sport called American football would finally catch up to him as Tijuana Luchadores lost to Norfolk Seawolves in the playoffs. He was disappointed but he understood he must improve for the good of the team. Now depressed and alone in his king size bed at 6 am in the morning with beer bottles laying around the room. He gets up and puts on his baseball cap to confront the challenges of his day to day life. He tells himself “It’s okay baby” and “There is no reason to be upset”. He’s going to motivate himself to become better than ever, this is the Teboat era. This is his time to shine and show why he’s the hottest free agent on the market! In fact….
Tom Teboat: It’s Teboat Time!
