Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Green Bay's favorite sport talk column!!
This is 10 outta 10, and I'm your host Richard Littlewood.
On today's episode we're going to have a deep dive on everyone's favorite frogman!
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Mister anfibian Offensive Line! Hordle (Alexander Franklin).
1)he is super talkative
For real friends, there's not a single moment in the day where I can't find Mister Hordle chatting in any of the different locker rooms across the developmental league! He can go from Tijuana to Myrtle Beach, then from London to Mumbai (it's hammer, go hammer...ehr uhm sorry nineties hit hard)
*clears throat* the point it's that no matter where he goes, he's liked all across the league and hopefully he can make himself a spot as one of the most renowned members of this league.
2)dedicated
Of there's something we can all be sure about it's that hordle it's one dedicated folk, literally online every day almost all day he's a known face on the rookie mentoring channel. Being barely under 100 tpe and with over 20 posts on the forums you know he's destined to max earn week after week and become a force to be recon with.
3)humble
Being one of the few OL prospects yet to play a snap, Hordle knows that he has some tough competition if he aims for the very top, so one of his best weapons when he gets asked why he should be the 1OA it's how humble he is, telling GMs, scouts and your very own that he doesn't know it, but it's the organization's job to show him his true value. This kind of responses are greatly appreciated by gm's all across the league.
4)Team First mindset
Hordle it's a team first guy... Knowing that he might fall a bit, he's more than willing to put his position over the table and let coaches know he is willing to change how he perceived his player.
It doesn't matter if it's on the trenches or as a skill player, both offense or defense, he will do whatever is best for the eyes of the team that drafts him.
5)creative
I don't know how to say this, but the kid is creative when writing, stories, characters, topics, you name it, he will give us all great media to read week after week and season after season for as long as you can imagine.
Hordle will be one of the best, if not the best writer from all the S26 draft class period.
But let's stop talking about Hordle, let's get into the juicy part of our column, let's talk about Alexander Franklin.
6)size
There's nothing more important for any offensive lineman than size, and Franklin's HUMONGOUS 340 pounds sets a new standard for any prospect competing with him, but those ain't "football muscles" my friends, standing at 6'3" (191cm for our international friends) this kid is ripped, with a solid 5% fat, this human mountain of muscles it's ready to take on the edge rushers and pancake them into a hole so deep that they won't be able to come out anytime soon.
7)space creator
From his early years he his strong point recides on his skill to move the defenseman and create huge spaces for his running backs to earn big yards and this skill will be much appreciated for any team lacking depth at quarterback or wide receiver, being able to solve the huge need of offensive power by setting up the run and controlling the game by just moving the chains over and over again.
8)strength
Bench pressing 230 lbs over 20 times by his high school senior year it's a feat impressive enough BUT and there's a big but here, he only became stronger since then, so I wouldn't be amazed if he ends up literally lifting a defenseman by mistake, let's hope this... Over eageness don't cost his team unnecessary yards for holding.
9)offensive line flexibility
Being a strong and big kid since he was little he managed to play across all roles inside the offensive line. His latest experience were on guard and center for the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, a Division 1 football team, but he has played also tackle in the high school and in every level since pee wee until today.
10)room for improvement
As most of the picks on this draft class, Alexander Franklin has to polish his game if he wants to compete with the big boys, thankfully he is a guy ready to put the work for it, used to bench pressing and other kind of training routines he will put all the work needed to be the best, it's up for the coaches to guide him and set him on the right track to success.
All in all, and to close this 10 outta 10,Hordle it's a great guy and I'm happy to call him my friend, I wish him nothing but the best and want to see him go out and succeed in the league, I know he will be a great addition for any team and can't wait to see where he ends up landing.
I know as we've been talking that he doesn't have any preference for any team on the Developmental league but I hope all of the Gm's reading this can scout him and consider him for your draft boards.
Well ladies and gentlemen there you have it, 10 outta 10 episode 4:Alexander Franklin! I really hope you live this column as much as I do making it!
Please feel free to share it with your friends and send us your thoughts about our work!
