Im not a huge fan of Colin Cowherd, but one thing i do like is his little segment where he says three words to predict each team. I obviously am no expert and spent a short amount of time on research so there is a chance I am way off with this
Baltimore
Maybe Next Year
When I look at this roster I see a lot of young players, with not many huge earning TPE guys, QB Chika Fujiwara has the most TPE, and was only drafted about 4 seasons ago. Assuming they can boost their TPE by a large margin I can see them becoming a young competitive team in a season or two. The biggest issue they face is the fact that a lot of their roster is going to be needing a new contract in the near future, so in order for this young team to work out, they will need to extend a large amount of their core
Berlin
Can Kaepercolin Play
Berlin, is expected to have a bit of growing pain, being an expansion team, and have built a very young team, as they look to the future. However Nick Kaepercolin has converted to QB and is going to be starting for this team. Due to conversion restrictions he cannot convert all his TPE into QB relevant things, so Berlin and Kaepercolin are probably going to have some growing pains this season.
Chicago
Finish Above .500
Chicago last year made the playoffs with a 7-9 record, however the GM of Chicago have done a good job of picking players who have been earning at a high level and have been improving. I see this team making the playoffs with ease. The biggest question is, do they have it in them to tussle with the big boys. Chicago fans have been patient waiting for a chance to see their team in the big game, and they are hoping this is the year
Colorado
Wolfie's Last Ride?
Wolfie McDummy has sign a one year contract, to stay in Colorado. However with Birddog QB Mattathias Caliban earning at a high level there is a chance he over takes the declining McDummy in S26. McDummy however will wanna go out on a high note, and with this Colorado Team that just missed out on winning it all, McDummy is going to come back hungry, and I expect him to make one last final push to glory
Philadelphia
Building For Future
Outside of QB and their Secondary, Philly does not have many amazing players. This was shown with the fact they had the worst record in the league, and earned the 3rd overall pick (due to expansion is was not the 1st). Surprising in the draft, they did not select a Running back, despite the biggest names falling till after the Third Round, meaning that there two old declining RB have no true successor. However they did snag some big names on defense, Tex Wrecks is one of the highest earners in the draft, and Jimi DeSoto is about to surpass 2 of their starting LBs. While I believe philly is not going to set the world on fire, if they can figure out a solution long term for their Running Back, they could potentially be a good team in a few years
Sarasota
Sneak Into Championship?
Sarasota is a good team, however there biggest problem, is the fact that they share a division with Colorodo, who beat them by only four points in the NSFC championship game. Colorodo is the only team in the whole league that scored more point than them, and also the only team that allowed more point than them. Sarasota are hoping to surpass Colorado this year and make it to the big game for the first time in their short history.
Yellowknife
Win Home Games
This is not a prediction but more an observation. Despite having a 6-10 record, Yellowknife only won 2 home games, having the worst record at home (Tied with a weak Philly Team). The bulk of their wins came from away victories. If Yellowknife wants to be a contender this year, they need to start playing better in front of their own fans.
Arizona
Defense To Carry
Arizona was unfortunately hit especially hard this off season through free agency and expansion draft, losing some active TPE earners, however despite this, Arizona still has a top tear defense, with high TPE earners. I know many of you are saying that I am counting out the incredible Jay Que, and of course he is still going to be a dominate force, the only thing im concerned about is that his best WR, Saba Donut, has begun to decline, and with the loss of RB Joseph Petrongolo, running back has become a concern. The only way i see Arizona winning it all is if their Defense plays at an even higher level than they did last year, and I believe with their personal, they have a chance
Austin
Scaring Opposing Quaterbacks
Austin this year has the best D-Line in the league, with Carolinabbq Isbest nearing his peak, Troen Egghands almost catching up to Carolinabbq, and Tyler Mountain being the top earner in the S23 class. Austin have built a powerful defense that should be a thorn in opposing QB's sides
Honolulu
Defense Too Young
Honolulu drafted pretty heavily on defense, bringing in 3 Defensive Pieces that are supposed to start right away. However despite this there are only about 3 names, on defense who have earned enough TPE to truly dominate in this tough devision, Shawn Dawkins, Heinrich Kackpoo, and Jim Waters. Despite this I see alot of names of players who are S24 or S25 who are high earners and if they keep it up, they might be a force to reckon with
New York
Is Howitzer Ready?
Sam Howitzer set the DSFL a blaze last season, winning MVP and helping Portland make the playoffs. However Howitzer is only an S24 player, meaning that he is incredibly young to be starting in the ISFL, and is about 200 TPE behind fellow QB call up, Suleiman Ramza. New York has built a team that is a good mix of Older and Younger players, however the question is, Is Howitzer good enough to wow in his first season
Orange County
Ramza Wins ROTY?
OCO is a team that has been well run for years, and have been preparing the successor to QB Armstrong for many seasons. Suleiman Ramza has inherited a team that made it to the ASFC Championship Game, and the Orange County Fanbase is hungry to add to their impressive Trophy Case.
New Orleans
Tōriki Needs Touchdowns
Despite the fact she is one of the top earning running backs in the league, Marcella Tōriki only scored 3 touchdowns last season despite running for the 3rd most yards in the league. One could blame the Elderly Forrest Gump for this, but New Orleans ended up dead last in rushing touchdowns. If New Orleans wants to win it all this year, they need their Best Offensive Player to deliver in the Redzone.
San Jose
Any Magic Left?
San Jose are a good team do not get me wrong, but they where heavily unfavored in ever single playoff match, but somehow someway the sim gods looked down on the Sabercats and smiled. The biggest question for San Jose is, are the sim gods still on their side? The ASFC is the toughest divisionon, with the last place team only finishing 6-10 and the first place team only winning 9 games. The Cats are going to need some more magic for them to repeat their amazin run
Baltimore
