Hello and welcome to one of the first joint medias that the Tight End Tom “No I do not have a nickname” Teboat and Laszlo Forty Tw--Wait nope that is the complete wrong character. Mr. Forty Two! In this piece of very tiny short absolutely nto filler based piece of shit postery media is going to be answering some questions or some shit. So for those who may not know or may not even care about the Development Sim Football League the newest draft class was done. We are going to hear from these two who ended up dropping quite far. But why? Why did these two drop? Well, bloody hell just give us a minute to sit down for fucks sake and we shall tell you!
Zaki Castillo: Hi folks, this is “Beyond The Draft” I am your host, Zaki Castillo. Today in part one of however many parts this series is going to be...We have our first guests and the hottest draftees on the market picked up by the Norfolk Seawolves! We have the dynamic duo of Tight End Tom Teboat and Running Back and surely future Hall of Famer Laszlo Forty Two! I’m going to be asking the two a few questions in this one of a kind two on one special interview. This segment with our two bright young stars will be split into multiple parts so without further ado why don’t we just start right now shall we?
*Laszlo Forty Two and Tom Teboat enter the stage as a roaring crowd cheer for both of the newest additions to the Norfolk Seawolves*
Zaki Castillo: Where did you two get drafted?
Laszlo Forty Two: First off, why the fuck is that GRSL reject of a player interviewing us? I thought this was out of character? I am not writing this in 3rd person since it takes way too long and it is not even for my own personal money. I have not got a clue off top of my head. I had quite a lot of great offers from great General Managers. Some people I knew from the Yellow Knife Wraiths and some from other sim leagues. Just great guys but I rejected them all and tanked. I tanked hard which is why I am like 14th overall? That is my lowest ever draft position since my Jon Forty One draft in the Sim Hockey League when I created Jon Forty One at the worst possible time.
I am fairly confident I could have gone 1st overall with how the sounds of Minny Grey Ducks liked me and the fact that no other good running backs exist in this draft class. I actually picked Running Back since it sounded like the Tijuana Luchadores would need me around this time. Truth benign told, I liked the idea of staying down for the max number of seasons for them to just be someone who was bigger than the legend himself Forrest Gump.
Kind of sucks that they did not want me unless I then switched positions. I must thank the Norfolk Sea Wolves for being so patient with me and if I ever wanted a back up team, this was it considering how much I get a long with a lot of the cool users there. I am looking forward to destroying the Development Sim Football League with them and gun the Most Valuable Player award.
I am starting to semi think loyalty is not really a thing here cause I am getting quite sad at teams I love betray me.
Tom Teboat: Well, it’s funny you ask that sir. I obviously told every team (believe me there were a lot of teams who wanted me to Teboat for them) I would only talk to the Tijuana Luchadors and nobody else, so obviously where else would I get drafted? It’s not like I offered to destroy them if they didn't, right? RIGHT? RIGHT? Well you’re wrong, I was drafted to the Norfolk Seawolves! I’ve been told by my pal and mortal enemy here Lazzy Forty Two, that these are great folk. In fact Norfolk, best folk *thumbs up and smile given, includes paid sponsorship*
I however do in fact know that my best friend doesn’t have the greatest relationship with this Jimbo kid. That friend? The Sanch he plays in this other baseball league based in like Canada or something called the Super Casual Football Sim League. We’re something of an iconic duo. He brought me over here to the Development Football Sim League. I uh kinda thought we were playing baseball but this seems like a weird sport really? It seems more like cricket or something those weird Europeans play. But what ever maybe the europeans play this baseball a bit differently. Nevertheless I’m excited to play for Seawolves!
Zaki Castillo: What do you think about the Norfolk Sea Wolves?
Laszlo Forty Two: Well, I know her better from the Super Casual Football Casual Sim Casual Football League of Casual competition as Alces but Murder Moose is one of my fav people in sim leagues since she is just a pretty cool person to talk to. It is also the home of Monster of the Woods (Tesla) who I like quite since they cool highlights of every thing ever. I look forward to reading about myself dicking the league.
Isa is someone I have respected a lot. He is a pretty big powerful #42 in the other casual sim league I cannot even be bothered to write out again but he is just a great guy as well and I look forward to making his former team a title winning team again. I have one title as a player with the Tijuana Luchadores and one the season after as a scout for Wide Receivers and Tight Ends (I realise that does not massively qualify me for another title but I will be damned if I do not to freebird the fuck out of that second title.) so I wanted to add to that and make the team Hall of Fame so badly and I doubt that happens with my Wide Receiver two seasons so I will now be looking to make the Norfolk Sea Wolves’ Hall of Fame instead.
I decided to include a shout out here for tee el kay Seven Four Two also known as Sy Abelman - Offensive Lineman in Super Casual and he had this to say:
"great to see the DSFL thriving and having a great draft". Great stuff. I agree as well!
Who else do I like? Well, Bex is cool. Not massively talked to her past about her elite pitcher Vivi but she has always been one of the bigger Sea Wolves Alumini to me and those are big shoes to fill. I am confident I can finish up into her stats though and bring home awards to Norfolk though.
I noticed we drafted Emi or Rune as our Quarter Back which I fucking love. I get on well with my Yorkshiremen pal. We have been of the Pro Baseball Experience team the Providence Crabs as well as sharing the current locker room of the SIm Hockey League team the Edmonton Blizzard. So I am glad 1 of the coolest locker rooms also continues to get cooler.
Oh right and Scorp. Yeah he is err...Umm...Well I really like Scorp, great guy. Always been a blast to talk to actually. Apparently he is a Crabs player now in Pro Baseball Experience or some shit but I love him.
If Scorp is reading that then ignore that completely. Fake news. Scorp sux lmao.
Final people I will mention are the two General Managers. I have to say talking to you guys has been pretty fun. I was ready to just shut them down or just have you as a back up place if shit went wrong. But you actually did wait a long time for me to drop and with no hope in sight I do not blame you. I can and do blame you for picking up this little shit of a Tight End cause now I have to care about him and help him get bloody equipment.
*The Sanch, Tom Teboat’s best friend comes barging in the door with Luchador masks and Mexican flags, red and green balloons. A sombrero and is even wearing a poncho*
The Sanch: Let’s go man! We got you drafted to the Luchadors buddy!!! I can’t believe you had to tank that hard but we really fucking did it man! Listen I got us some party hats, some balloons, some little mexican flags I picked up at the Mexican peso store on the way here! *Tom Teboat tries to interrupt to no avail*
We got some mexican food, we’re gonna have a fucking party bro, tequila on me, we got some tamalitos. Some taquitos, some enchiladas, some pozolito. We got the maracas, the mariachi is about to come to sing “Cielito Lindo”.
*The Sanch suddenly stops himself in the excitement as he looks around the room with a confused interviewer, The Sanch and Laszlo Forty Two looking at him as well. I believe for the first time ever The Sanch has finally learned how to read a room*
Tom Teboat: Listen man, I know you were real excited for me to play with your weird Canadian friends in Mexico but I didn’t get picked up by them. I uh actually got picked up by the Norfolk Seawolves which I know you don’t like some of them cause they took your best friend or whatever but I’m actually really enjoying their company and they seem like- *The Sanch’s attention turns to Laszlo Forty Two*
The Sanch:You, you, you, you. I can’t believe it. What the hell is going on? What are you doing here? You, I thought you were dead? My mortal enemy is going to be playing with my bff aka best friend forever? What kind of universe are we living in? Is this even legal? Can one of you explain yourselves? This ruins all my plans of throwing a lucha house party! I’m especially not inviting that prick!
Tom Teboat: Now calm down, The Sanch. I know it’s not what you wanted to happen in the ideal world. Whatever problems you have with Lazzy Forty Two you can just settle it outside man. But like right now I have to look good for my teammates. So please man, can you just leave us alone for now for this one small interview?
*The Sanch does put on a puppy face and nods his head. As the mariachis and food arrive he bows down and signals everyone to leave as Laszlo Forty Two smirks. Thinking of ways to corrupt the friendship between The Sanch and Tom Teboat*
Zaki Castillo: What are your goals for the Development Sim Football League?
Laszlo Forty Two: Well, I do not know what Tim Tepot will want to do. I personally want to gun Hall of Fame. I have had a lot of discussions on making it as a Running Back and it is already hell and next to impossible to make Hall of Fame in International Development Sim League but Running Back sounds really fucking hard now. Like bullshit hard even. I am 100% just going to see who drafts me basically. I am not really against joining any team. I welcome literally each and every one of the teams. But I am hoping to not looking like a shiny new toy for back up or reserve if I can help it. If I cannot which looks highly likely, fair play. I will do that. But the focus will to be drafted as high as possible and for the team that will put a good amount of faith in my player.
If that does not happen and it looks like I am screw. Well, fair play. That is alright. I can stay down for the maximum number of seasons and focus on farming championships and awards to try and make the most bullshit player at this level ever. Then maybe even just recreate, cause why not? I have options and I am not closing the door on anything. I mainly would just like to be a big character and player for my future team, farm Ultimus’ for fun and make Hall of Fame but I am open to all doors right now to see what can happen. I think when the draft of this draft class happens I will have proper discussions with every General Manager and we can just chill and see where we stand and see what happens in the draft.
The one thing I will say is you KNOW I will be a max earner. Always have been, always will be. I am always active in locker rooms and having fun and I can be a big piece for your team. But for now my goal is to farm the Development Sim Football League and that could be for a long, long time potentially. Have to make my former home truly regret missing a free player basically.
Tom Teaboat: Thank god my friend stopped uh, ya know talking or went ahead without getting ahead of me and embarrassing me right? Uh *coughs* anyways. What was the question? Oh yeah right. So uh, what I really wanna do is hit some home runs on the field, I was hoping to play something like pitcher but I was told I was going to play Tight End or something like that? I guess I got on the training field for Luchadores last season and it seemed like more of third base. I guess they just call it differently along these parks.
It is not ideal but if it is what is needed you know? I mainly was looking at what is needed for a Hall of Fame induction as a Tight End. I don’t know if that is something that I can look forward to in the future but I think I can do it. These Norfolk “Best Folk” Seawolves guys are just the first step of the way to the Pro Baseball Development Football Sim League Hall of Fame. Man that is a mouthful isn’t it?
End of part 1?
Okay, so for now this will have to be the final question for the interview with the two new Norfolk Sea Wolves players. Time restraints and time zones and all that jazz. Fun fact actually: Van has the only Mexican player in Pro Baseball Experience and Pau is actually Mexican nationality and Tijuana Luchadores did not want them. I believe the twitch emote to some that up is: KEKW
Moving on we will be doing a second part eventually although for all we know that could be in a few seconds or 2 weeks from now (probably 5 seconds). But this has been quite a bit of fun and until the next time we wish you all thanks for reading and hopefully you enjoyed what you read. Until next time though, good bye.
