Week #1 Broadcast
Agent Tesla: Hello and welcome to another season of DSFL highlights presented by Tesla who represents the rookie mentor team, and Sim Rep who represents the sim. Since we are working on this broadcast just before the sun comes up how about we jump right into week one action. Tell us all about it please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Norfolk Seawolves at Portland Pythons. Pythons won 21 to 0. Offensive player of the game is running back Darren Pama of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 23 rushing attempts for 105 yards, an average run of 4.6 yards, a long of 16 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 reception for 9 yards.
Agent Tesla: Reliable running wins the day once again and credit to Pama for a solid stat line. Pama's first highlight of the day came towards the end of the first quarter when tehy converted a fourth and two with a 12 yard run that put the team in the red zone. It was the second quarter that saw them step up their performance though starting with a 13 yard run to convert a second and two less than a minute into the quarter. The drive that set up would end in their long run of the day being a 16 yard touchdown run on a first and ten. Now for defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Donald McBobby of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 12 tackles, 5 sacks, and 1 fumble recovery.
Agent Tesla: Five sacks makes for five easy highlight options and the first was a 6 yard sack on a first and ten towards the end of the first quarter on a drive that would end as a three and out. Second on a second and ten in the second quarter saw the 6 yard sack help contribute to a punt. Third on a third and two in the third quarter, and I am beginning to recognize a pattern as McBobby managed a 5 yard sack to force a punt. McBobby ruined the next drive with their fourth sack going for 6 yards and coming on a second and four to erase the first down gain. Just before the fourth quarter McBobby managed their fifth sack for 7 yards on a third and two to force a punt. Early in the fourth quarter McBobby also had a fumble recovery on a third and four that they returned for 11 yards.
Now onto game two of week one please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Kansas City Coyotes at Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. Buccaneers won 33 to 7. Offensive player of the game is quarterback Jackie Daytona of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 20 for 31 on passing attempts for 214 yards, an average completion of 10.7 yards, 2 touchdowns, a passer rating of 106.1, 4 rushes for 40 yards, an average run of 10 yards, and a long of 26 yards.
Agent Tesla: First highlight of the day for Daytona came on a third and goal that they converted into a 10 yard touchdown pass in the first quarter. Their second was their long run of the day of 26 yards on a first and ten in the second quarter. Longest play of the game for either team was a 33 yard pass by Daytona on a first and ten that set up a first and goal midway through the third quarter. The ensuing play on that first and goal would be a 4 yard touchdown pass by Daytona to seal the deal. Next is defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is strong safety Tony Yeboah of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 8 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 pass defended.
Agent Tesla: Second and ten in the first quarter and Yeboah drew their first blood with a 6 yard sack that would lead the drive to being a three and out. Their next big play of the day came in the fourth quarter when they broke up a pass on first and ten that would lead to another drive ending in a three and out. Also had one of the last three tackles of the game right around the line of scrimmage that is deserving of recognition.
We are onto game three please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Minnesota Grey Ducks at Tijuana Luchadores. Grey Ducks won 13 to 10. Offensive player of the game is running back Bronko Mills of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 17 rushing attempts for 105 yards, an average run of 6.2 yards, a long of 17 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 reception for 12 yards.
Agent Tesla: Mills got off to a great start with their first carry of the first quarter being a 13 yard run on first and ten. That drive would include their lone 12 yard reception to convert another first and ten, and would ultimately end in a 4 yard touchdown run by them. Their longest run of the day turned a second and nine into a first and ten as they ran it 17 yards before being tackled. They would tie their long run of the day in the fourth quarter on a first and ten that they converted with another 17 yard run. Onto defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is cornerback Mason Gillion of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 7 tackles and 1 sack.
Agent Tesla: Third and eleven on the opening drive of the game and Gillion sent them packing early with a tackle short of the line to gain to force a punt. Gillion destroyed another drive in the fourth quarter where they secured a 6 yard sack on a first and ten on a drive that would end in a punt. In a game decided by just a field goal those two defensive stands made a huge difference in keeping them in it.
Just one last game for the week please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game London Royals at Dallas Birddogs. Royals won 30 to 13. Offensive player of the game is running back Benny Hana (GM) of the London Royals with a stat line of 23 rushing attempts for 110 yards, an average run of 4.8 yards, a long of 11 yards, and 2 touchdowns.
Agent Tesla: We are not here to honor the simulated simulated players, and so robots like this are strictly disqualified. Instead we will honor kicker Something McDerpants of the London Royals with a stat line of 3 for 3 on extra points, 1 for 1 on 20 to 29 yard field goals, 2 for 2 on 40 to 49 yard field goals, 3 punts for 133 yards, an average punt of 44.3 yards, a long of 49 yards, and 1 inside the twenty. Starting with their 45 yard field goal to score the first points of the game on a fourth and seven, through their 39 yard punt on fourth and six in the second quarter that pinned the opposition inside their own twenty, and through to their 46 yard field goal on a second and five near the end of the first half. It is clear to me that they contributed to the win. Defense one more time please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Logan Sarrasin of the London Royals with a stat line of 9 tackles and 1 sack.
Agent Tesla: Second quarter on a second and four and Sarrasin had their decisive play of the day in the form of a 6 yard sack that would lead the drive to end as a three and out. They also contributed a tackle after a two yard gain on a first and ten in the third quarter to keep the opposition to a field goal attempt. Sarrasin would also ultimately seal the win as they made a tackle short of the end zone on a fourth and goal to get a turnover on downs.
Thank you so much for joining us and we hope you will join us next time when we bring you highlights from the doubleheader!
Week #2&3 Broadcast
Agent Tesla: Hello once again dear readers! It is time to bring you the highlights from a dynamic doubleheader of DSFL action! Joining me today as always is Sim Rep who represents the sim, and so please take it away with our first game Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Myrtle Beach Buccaneers at Portland Pythons. Pythons won 44 to 10. Offensive player of the game is running back Anders Christiansen of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 18 rushing attempts for 81 yards, an average run of 4.5 yards, a long of 14 yards, 1 touchdown, 4 receptions for 48 yards, an average reception of 12 yards, and a long of 18 yards.
Agent Tesla: Christiansen made my job quite easy this time around as their first highlight came in the second quarter where they had their long reception of 18 yards on a first and ten. They followed that play up with their 1 yard touchdown run. Towards the end of the third quarter they made another nice grab with a 14 yard reception to get the first down. Their next drive in the fourth quarter on a second and fourteen Christiansen managed to get them to third and short with an 11 yard run. Longest run of the day for Christiansen also came in the fourth quarter on a second and four where they ran it 14 yards to get into the red zone. Thank you Sim Rep and now tell us about defense please!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is free safety Moe Skeeter of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 5 tackles, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception touchdown.
Agent Tesla: Skeeter had a couple terrific plays this game and the first came in the second quarter where they made a stop after just 4 yards on a first and ten to keep the team in line with the sticks. The play that won them this honor though is there other terrific play where on third and three just before the two minute warning in the second quarter Skeeter picked off the pass and returned it 32 yards for a touchdown. One of the longest plays of the day and definitely deserving recognition.
Onto game two please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Kansas City Coyotes at Norfolk Seawolves. Coyotes won 20 to 7. Offensive player of the game is running back Sergio Kitchens of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 18 rushing attempts for 77 yards, an average run of 4.3 yards, a long of 11 yards, 1 touchdown, 3 receptions for 39 yards, an average reception of 13 yards, a long of 27 yards, and 1 touchdown.
Agent Tesla: Second quarter just before the two minute warning Kitchens carries the ball for an 11 yard run for their first highlight of the day. That drive would end on a third and ten with Kitchens hauling in a 27 yard touchdown pass. They also had a 4 yard touchdown run on second and goal in the closing minute of the game. Next is defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is defensive end Dimitrius Rogers of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 7 tackles, 2 for loss, and 1 sack.
Agent Tesla: Rogers kept it in reserve until the second half where they got their first big play on a tackle at the line of scrimmage on a second and nine late in the third quarter. Fourth quarter they had another solid second down when they got a 5 yard sack on second and three that would help hold the opposition to a field goal attempt.
Game three next please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Dallas Birddogs at Minnesota Grey Ducks. Grey Ducks won 20 to 17. Offensive player of the game is running back Cobra Kai of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 16 rushing attempts for 144 yards, an average run of 9 yards, a long of 68 yards, 1 touchdown, 2 receptions for 7 yards, an average reception of 3.5 yards, and a long of 7 yards.
Agent Tesla: Interesting receiving statistics, but clearly at least one big time play by the back! Kai kicked it up in the second quarter with 10 yard run to convert a third and two early on. Later in that same drive they would turn a second and fifteen into a third and manageable with an 11 yard run. Their masterpiece of the day though was the final play of the first half where they got the ball on second and five only to rumble forward 68 yards for the touchdown! Tell us about defense if you would please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Alejandro Chainbreaker of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 10 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recovery.
Agent Tesla: Another one where the biggest play is clear from the stat line so let's get into it! First and ten in the third quarter saw Chainbreaker get their first big play of the day with a 6 yard sack to contribute to a three and out. Their biggest play by far though was a fumble recovered on their own 21 yard line on a first and ten that they were admittedly unable to return for any yards. Still a superb play and one that clearly won them this honor.
Onto the last game of week two please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Tijuana Luchadores at London Royals. Royals won 31 to 12. Offensive player of the game is running back Terry Yaki of the London Royals with a stat line of 28 rushing attempts for 107 yards, an average run of 3.8 yards, a long of 10 yards, and 2 touchdowns.
Agent Tesla: Three yards and a cloud of dust clearly got it done here. Yaki's first long run of the day converted a second and two in the second quarter as they ran it 10 yards. That same drive was capped off by a 5 yard touchdown run by Yaki on first and goal. Third quarter on a first and ten Yaki tied their long with another 10 yard run. Followed it up that drive with another 10 yard run on a first and ten to get a first and goal. Third and goal on that drive was a 4 yard touchdown run by Yaki. If it works it works! Now onto defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker L'Gazzy Burfict of the London Royals with a stat line of 4 tackles and 2 sacks.
Agent Tesla: Burfict got started early with the very first play from scrimmage Burfict secured a 6 yard sack that would help lead to a three and out for the opening drive. Second quarter on a third and fifteen Burfict did it again with a 7 yard sack that knocked the opponents out of field goal range. They added one more big time contribution in the form of a tackle after a 4 yard rush on third and sixteen in the second quarter that caused another three and out.
We are onto game one of week three please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game London Royals at Norfolk Seawolves. Seawolves won 20 to 17. Offensive player of the game is quarterback Emi Rune of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 20 of 29 passing for 195 yards, an average pass of 9.8 yards, 2 touchdowns, a passer rating of 110.6, 2 rushing attempts for 3 yards, an average run of 1.5 yards, and a long of 2 yards.
Agent Tesla: Opening drive for Rune's team and they start their highlight reel with a 22 yard pass on third and five. An act they followed with a 15 yard touchdown pass on first and ten. Early in the second quarter Rune did it again with a 10 yard touchdown pass on second and goal. Third and two in the second quarter and Rune converted with a long 25 yard pass. Now for defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Tommy Tenners (GM) of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 11 tackles and 1 sack.
Agent Tesla: One guiding rule for these highlights is no bots and so in place of Tommy Tenners we are giving the honor of defensive player of the game to defensive end Sam Roes of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 8 tackles, 3 for loss, and 1 forced fumble. Roes stepped in on the opening drive with a tackle at the line on first and ten, and then a tackle after just a two yard gain on second and ten to contribute to an opening drive three and out. Fourth quarter they had their best with a tackle for a 1 yard loss on second and four to contribute to a three and out.
Time for game two of week three please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Minnesota Grey Ducks at Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. Buccaneers won 13 to 6. Offensive player of the game is running back Jameson Vermillion of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 26 rushing attempts for 107 yards, an average run of 4.1 yards, and a long of 11 yards.
Agent Tesla: Vermillion got off to a quick start with an 8 yard run on second and nine as the second play from scrimmage. Third and five in the second quarter they contributed again by converting with a 9 yard run. Then on the final drive they converted a second and six with a 9 yard run to help run out the clock. Tell us about defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Chet Larson of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 8 tackles, 1 for loss, 1 sack, and 1 pass defended.
Agent Tesla: Third quarter on a second and seven and Larson broke up a pass on their own side of the field that would help lead to a stop outside of field goal range. The next drive they added a tackle on third and four that forced them to settle for a field goal. Fourth quarter on second and four Larson managed a 5 yard sack that contributed to another forced punt.
Once more to game three please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Portland Pythons at Kansas City Coyotes. Pythons won 14 to 12. Offensive player of the game is running back Darren Pama of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 29 rushing attempts for 113 yards, an average run of 3.9 yards, a long of 19 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 reception for 3 yards.
Agent Tesla: Pama picked it up early with a 19 yard run on a third and ten that helped lead to an opening drive score. They also were the centerpiece of a touchdown drive in the second quarter where they ran for thirty-five total yards including a 1 yard touchdown run on third and goal. Their third quarter performance measured up well as well including a key third and two conversion with a 5 yard run. Defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Matty Martinsson of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 7 tackles, 2 for loss, 2 sacks, and 1 pass defended.
Agent Tesla: First quarter on a first and ten and Martinsson made their first big play of the night to break up a pass. That play would help lead to a punt, but their next forced one as they made the tackle at the line of scrimmage on a third and three to take it to fourth down on the next drive. Second quarter on a first and ten and Martinsson ruined the drive before it had a chance to start with a sack for 11 yards that the opponent would not get back before fourth down. Fourth quarter and Martinsson did it again with a 6 yard sack on second and eight on another drive that would end in a punt.
We are onto the last game of the doubleheader Sim Rep, and so please take it away!
Sim Rep: Game Tijuana Luchadores at Dallas Birddogs. Luchadores won 20 to 13. Offensive player of the game is running back Cobra Kai of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 29 rushing attempts for 135 yards, an average run of 4.7 yards, a long of 45 yards, 1 touchdown, 2 receptions for 6 yards, an average reception of 3 yards, and a long reception of 3 yards.
Agent Tesla: Cobra Kai back with the ludicrously long runs that you love to see! This game Kai took a bit to get started, but when they did they took off like a rocket. A 12 yard run on a first and ten in the third quarter, and then a 6 yard run on the following first and ten. Just a play later on third and two Kai ran it 45 yards to set up a first and goal. Then on second and goal Kai pounded it in from 4 yards out for the touchdown. Out here doing it all! Now onto defense one more time please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Vincent Jones of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 16 tackles and 1 sack.
Agent Tesla: Taking us to tackle town it seems! First highlight from the first quarter was a tackle after just a four yard gain on second and seventeen to help force a punt. One of their biggest plays came in the second quarter where they made a tackle after just 3 yards on a third and thirteen that would lead to a blocked punt attempt on the following fourth down. Towards the end of the second quarter they had their best play though as they secured a 7 yard sack on fourth and three to get a turnover on downs with better field position.
Thank you for joining me for another edition of highlights. We appreciate you being here and we hope you have a most marvelous day!
Week #4 Broadcast
Agent Tesla: Hello and welcome back to DSFL Highlights! I am joined once again by the representative of the sim known as Sim rep and we are here today to bring you the highlights from week four. Introductions out of the way so please take it from here Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Dallas Birddogs at Kansas City Coyotes. Coyotes won 34 to 17. Offensive player of the game is running back Sergio Kitchens of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 27 rushing attempts for 129 yards, an average run of 4.8 yards, a long of 13 yards, 2 touchdowns, 3 receptions for 15 yards, an average reception of 5 yards, and a long of 8 yards.
Agent Tesla: Kitchens kicked off their highlight reel towards the end of the first quarter with a 13 yard run on a second and ten. Midway through the second quarter they found paydirt with a 1 yard touchdown run on first and goal. An act they followed on their next drive with a 6 yard touchdown run on third and one. Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Richard Leaking of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 18 tackles.
Agent Tesla: Richard Leaking closed out the first quarter with their first highlight being a stop just beyond the line of scrimmage on third and nine to force a punt. Fourth quarter saw them make their best tackle of the day as they stopped them short of the line to gain on third and two to cause them to settle for a field goal attempt. Good play throughout by Leaking, but these two terrific plays are what put them over the top I would say.
Game two please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Portland Pythons at Tijuana Luchadores. Luchadores won 13 to 10. Offensive player of the game is running back Darren Pama of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 22 rushing attempts for 104 yards, an average run of 4.7 yards, a long of 12 yards, 3 receptions for 16 yards, an average reception of 5.3 yards, and a long of 6 yards.
Agent Tesla: First quarter on a third and six saw Pama get their first highlight with a 10 yard run to convert. Second quarter on a first and ten Pama did it again with an 11 yard run. Third quarter Pama had their long run of the day of 12 yards to convert a second and four. Next is defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is cornerback Mason Gillion of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 11 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recovery.
Agent Tesla: Opening drive of the first quarter after a long pass the tackle was made with such force that the ball popped loose, and Gillion was there to scoop it up right around midfield. Third quarter on a second and seven and Gillion contributed again by stopping them short of the line to gain on a drive that would end in a punt. The fourth quarter though saw possibly their best play of the day as on a second and six they managed a 6 yard sack that contributed to a three and out.
We are onto game three please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Norfolk Seawolves at Minnesota Grey Ducks. Grey Ducks won 30 to 7. Offensive player of the game is running back Mike Rotchburns of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 40 rushing attempts for 120 yards, an average run of 3 yards, a long of 11 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 reception for 20 yards.
Agent Tesla: Oh my that is a lot of carries for Rotchburns! First quarter and Rotchburns' first highlight came on a second and eight where they converted with a 10 yard run. Rotchburns' longest run of the day came in the second quarter on a first and ten where they ran it for 11 yards to get the first down. Just one drive after that Rotchburns would score from 6 yards out on first and goal. Their longest play of the day came in the fourth though as they converted a first and fifteen with a 20 yard reception. Defense next please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Tommy Tenners (GM) of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 11 tackles and 2 for loss.
Agent Tesla: No bots and so instead we will give it to defensive end Sam Roes on account of their 7 tackles, 4 for loss, and 1 forced fumble. Roes' first good tackle for loss came in the first quarter on a first and ten where they took 2 yards from the offense. Their best play of the day though was early in the second quarter when they made a tackle at about midfield that forced the ball loose and was recovered by their team. Third quarter and their third highlight as Roes made a tackle at the line of scrimmage on second and seven that contributed to a forced punt.
Last game of the week please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Myrtle Beach Buccaneers at London Royals. Buccaneers won 27 to 16. Offensive player of the game is wide receiver Tugg Speedman of the London Royals with a stat line of 9 receptions for 153 yards, an average rception of 17 yards, and a long of 45 yards.
Agent Tesla: Love a deep threat and it seems the sim agrees with me here! First drive of the second quarter and Speedman got off to a swift start befitting their name with a 36 yard reception on third and ten. They opened the next drive up with a 45 yard reception on first and ten. Third quarter they had another big play with a 20 yard reception on first and ten. Defense once more please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is free safety Zack Mouse of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 8 tackles, 2 passes defended, 2 interceptions, and 1 returned for a touchdown.
Agent Tesla: First quarter on third and seventeen Mouse made their first highlight play with a tackle close to the line of scrimmage to force a punt. Third quarter saw Mouse grab their first interception of the day and return it 12 yards on a first and ten, but was unfortunately stopped just one yard short of the end zone. The very next drive Mouse was set that they would not be stopped again as they picked off a pass on second and two then ran it all the way back a total of 63 yards for a touchdown.
Thank you for reading once again and we will see you next week. Hope you have a great time!

Pama's first highlight of the day came towards the end of the first quarter when tehy converted a fourth and two with a 12 yard run that put the team in the red zone. Agent Tesla: We are not here to honor the simulated simulated players, and so robots like this are strictly disqualified.
