*Tsuyu lands in London

It's been years since Tsuyu Asui left Tokyo Japan for the country living of Lexington Kentucky. Since then she hadn't really left the USA, with her friends from UA visiting her instead. But here she is, having been picked up from waivers by the London Royals and now having to leave the USA for the UK. Not that plane travel bothered her much as she had traveled a lot that way before. What is making her concerned is having to again get used to another countries culture.

The good news is that her former fellow University of Kentucky player quarterback Adam James is going with her, but not as a fellow player. The unfortunate truth is that during thier final game Adam would take a massive dirty hit from a defensive lineman right to his left knee, completely destroying it permanently. The only good news from that whole mess is that Adam has become Tsuyu's agent and travel mate so they can still be friends, though Tsuyu hasn't expressed much desire to purist a romantic relationship.

"So London huh? Adam asked as they got onto the plane "think they will have good haunted houses?"

"I sure hope so Adam" Tsuyu smiles "looking forward to seeing the Tower of London. Lots of history there"

"Yeah and I actually do want to see some museums" the plane takes off and Tsuyu looks put of the window with a wistful look on her face. "Tsuyu if you're worried about me trust me I am fine. Doctors said retiring is the best thing for me"

"The scream...I couldn't save you.." Tsuyu mumbled as she remembers the horrifying screams Adam made after he got hit. She was so distracted by her getting a touchdown that she didn't see what happened until it was too late. Why couldn't she save him? Why was she so selfish? He then shook her shoulder to snap her out of it

"Tsuyu its fine!" Adam said as she calmed down "no matter what you do, the unfortunate truth is that you can't save everyone. But you should still try to save as many people as you can. Do you understand?'

"Yeah...yeah I do" Tsuyu smiles a bit "sorry its just a really bad memory" the plane lands a few hours later and they were full of jet lag and were insanely hungry "we should get something to eat..." She says, extremely groggy

"Yeah I am beyond starving. Let's find a fish and chips place" They manage to find a local restaurant after managing to get some pounds and call a taxi. As they eat, Tsuyu texts the Royals staff that she had managed to arrive in London. They told her to meet her at the stadium.

"So we are heading to the stadium after we eat" Tsuyu says between bites "I hope its a decently sized one"

"Don't be surprised if it's not that big, remember the DSFL isn't as big as the ISFL" Adam notes "still this is very exciting you finally get to play professionally"

"I know I am over the moon right now with all of this. Hopefully I can continue being the best player I can be. I know i will have to overcome the same doubters I had at Kentucky"

"Yeah there is no getting away from that" Adam says sheepishly. They finish thier food and call another cab to the stadium. The stadium wasn't ISFL big as they suspected but it was plenty big and looked fun to play at. They head inside the office of the GM where Tsuyu was fitted for the unique uniform she requires in order to play. It happened to be similar to her hero costume but had a lot more padding and a unique football helmet and an opening for her tongue.

"I like these colors." Tsuyu smiles as she puts on the team shirt for a photo shoot. "Black and Gold will always go well together"

"Yeah I love these colors, and I am sure you will like the uniform we will make you" The London GM smiles "we asked Kentucky how they made the uniform for you and we will try our hardest to copy the design and maybe improve it with a larger budget then colleges get. Maybe make it a bit more comfortable to wear and shock proof?"

"Oh yeah that would be great" Tsuyu smiled as she was given a tour of the stadium. Along the way they saw thier Ultimini trophy and a Linebacker of the Year trophy. "Who won this one?" She asked

"Oh that was Eric Richards." The GM smiled wistfully "he was a great player."

"Was? What happened to him?"

"Oh nothing major or scary. He just quit football after getting an injury and instead became a professional wrestler" The GM chuckled a bit "he's actually quite successful and has won a few titles"

"Oh really? That's a unique career path" Tsuyu notes "if I wasn't this, I might have become a professional video editor. It's kind been a passion of mine to edit highlight videos and the occasional amateur music video"

"Huh. Maybe you can help us edit some videos" the GM says "anyways we will show you to your studio apartment you will be staying while you are here. Of course if we draft you then you will be able to buy a house or condo"

"Alright lead the way" Tsuyu smiles as they headed to the large apartment building where her apartment was on the top floor. "I glad this place had an elevator." Tsuyu says "it would be hard to carry my luggage or any groceries up the stairs"

"Yeah that would suck" Adam says "still this place looks homely and has two bedrooms so I am sure it will be fine" They look around the medium sized fully furnished apartment and find a map of London on the wall "hey this outta help us get around. Here is the Tower of London if you want to go right now"

"Actually i just want to nap this jet lag immediately" Tsuyu said as she headed to the bed "goodnight Adam"

"Heh, goodnight Sue." Adam chuckles as he sits down on the couch. He pulls a picture of him and her at practice and sighs happily before deciding to take a nap as well right there on the couch.
