Day 15
This training camp is a living hell. I do feel I'm faster and nimble but I miss playing football.
They've said that we get our first pre season game this sunday, against the back to back champions the San Jose Sabercats. Nobody expects us to win, but that's the fun part of it, if we show the results of this training I believe that we have a good chance to beat them.
End of day 15
Day 19
Yesterday we had a great game agains the Sabercats, a last minute play gave us the victory on a game that could go either way. Powers with clutch field goals kept us in game. That, combined with a last minute touchdown gave us the win. the sabercats ran a powerful offense, that's for sure .

Day 31
It's been a month since I've first landed in Honolulu. The team and the community were super welcoming and it already feels like home.
Somehow we managed to win all four pre season games with me securing the Right Tackle Spot for the season.
I know that it's going to be a really hard job but I'm confident of my skill and my working philosophy to keep things this way. I'm faster and nimbler than I've ever been before.
Now, with the season quickly approaching, I'll start working on my blocking to be the human meat shield this team needs me to be.

Day 40
"...after 4 hard fought quarters the Honolulu Hahalua couldn't repeat their pre season performance and pull the comeback against the San Jose Sabercats in a Trailing game filled with mistakes.
Player of the game was Captain Luke Skywalker.

After the great offseason we expected to see more from the hahalua, but sadly their offense wasn't strong enough to wound the Sabercats enough that with two quick series on the second quarter got a difference of 17.
After that the Hahalua had to try for a comeback but their slow offense wouldn't score again until the end of the 3rd quarter.
The 4th quarter started with San Jose pushing their lead a bit with a 34 yards Field goal, 35 seconds into the quarter.
Again the Hahalua would put a field goal 2 minutes after and wouldn't put the foot on the pedal until it was too late. Scoring their last touchdown in garbage time. Just in time for the clock to reach zero.
What this reporter wants to know its:
What happened with the Hahalua that played last month?"
The press.... Right? The game was bad, really bad, specially for a debut.
The coaches are working us out day after day because of that. We are expected to contend and can't do this kind of stuff... I'm happy to be playing here, the work hours are long but the sea helps me relax after work, I'm swimming a lot before going back to my home, the team sends me every meal and this humble shack is way better than a department in the city center, I think I'll stay here and see what happens.
In other news, I hope the match vs Baltimore is a bit more gentle with us, but anyways, the team is coming, we gotta run before it gets too dark, we have a team meeting on a while and the coaches are making us run anywhere we gotta go.
End of day 40
Day 44
We lost again... This time at Austin, the game ended an hour ago and everyone went to their rooms immediately after we came to the Hotel.
Nobody wants to talk about this but there's a weird vibe on the team for this kind of loses, it's like nobody knows why we can't move the ball.... This worries me. I know that being a rookie it will take some time for me to adapt, but oddly enough it's like not other rookie is having the same problem.
At least this game I played way better, 5 pancakes to lead the team puts me in a really good position compared to the other guys. I've heard the coaches talk about changes in the trenches and I want to stay here, maybe it won't be this year but the next, in any case my it's my job and my family is planning to move from Green Bay to Hawaii just to be able to come to home games, it will be a good experience but they need a better place to be... I wonder how much would a house cost close to the stadium for them...
But let's stop rambling and get back to the game.
It feels like we didn't even play for the first two quarters. It took us thirty minutes to get two field goals.... (2019 Packers comes to mind) after that we took the lead on the third quarter just to lost it with a last second TD from Austin... Once we get back to Honolulu I know the coaches will work us out even more... Get ready body you're in line for a 3 times a day work out no days off...
If that doesn't makes us a better team at least I hope it changes our team's will to play and start fighting from the get go.
We can win against this teams, we've beaten them before and we can do it again. A win will come soon (I hope).
But even then, each and every single one of us gotta work 5 times harder for it. We are professionals for fucks sake!
I know I will work harder, I can feel my technique being better already and I will only get better as time passes.
I know next season a couple players will come, I was the only rookie from my draft class not sent back to my DSFL team, but that matters not, we must win now so they can get into a working unit.
