Week #11&12 Broadcast
Agent Tesla: Hello and good time appropriate greeting dear DSFL friends! We are back again with highlights from the latest DSFL doubleheader and so we have a whole lot of action to cover. Please get us started with the first game Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Tijuana Luchadores at Portland Pythons. Pythons won 24 to 7. Offensive player of the game is running back Bronko Mills of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 24 rushing attempts for 103 yards, an average run of 4.3 yards, a long of 10 yards, 2 receptions for 14 yards, an average reception of 7 yards, and a long of 9 yards.
Agent Tesla: Mills' first highlight of the day came towards the end of the first quarter on a second and ten that they converted with a 10 yard run. Early in the second they turned a second and five into a first down with a 9 yard run. Then a little later in the drive on a second and four they tied their long of the day with another 10 yard run. Tell us about defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is free safety Moe Skeeter of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 7 tackles, 1 sack, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception touchdown.
Agent Tesla: Skeeter made sure their highlights counted as their first came on third and goal in the second quarter where their 6 yard sack forced a field goal attempt. The next drive they did not wait as long as on the second and seven right after the first play Skeeter picked off the pass and ran it back 45 yards for a touchdown. Third quarter on a third and six Skeeter made the tackle short of the line to gain to force a field goal attempt once again. Then just to cap it off they made the tackle on fourth and eighteen in the fourth quarter that all but ended the game with a turnover on downs.
Game two of week eleven please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Minnesota Greyducks at Norfolk Seawolves. Grey Ducks won 20 to 0. Offensive player of the game is running back Mike Rotchburns of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 21 rushing attempts for 160 yards, an average run of 7.6 yards, a long of 59 yards, and 1 touchdown.
Agent Tesla: Third and three midway through the first quarter and Rotchburns had their first big gain with a 10 yard run. That would be massively upstaged by their next carry in the game on a third and one in the first quarter where they ran it 59 yards into the end zone for a touchdown. Fourth quarter Rotchburns proved they could last as they had a 10 yard run on first and ten from their own two yard line. Once more to defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is free safety Damian Blackfyre of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 3 tackles, 1 sack, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception.
Agent Tesla: Second and two midway through the third quarter and Blackfyre picks off the pass just on their side of the field and runs it back 11 yards to take possession in opponent territory. Fourth quarter on second and eleven Blackfyre turned heads again with a 6 yard sack on a drive that would end in a punt.
Onto game three please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game London Royals at Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. Buccaneers won 17 to 9. Offensive player of the game is running back Terry Yaki of the London Royals with a stat line of 27 rushing attempts for 104 yards, an average run of 3.9 yards, a long of 12 yards, and 1 reception for 5 yards.
Agent Tesla: Not an individual highlight, however I want to highlight the opening of the second quarter would be a third and three converted by a 3 yard Yaki run, then a third and five converted by a 9 yard Yaki run, and then a third and six converted by a 7 yard Yaki run. Fourth quarter saw their longest run of the day though as they got 12 yards on second and seven. Onto defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is defensive tackle Boat Frank (GM) of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 5 tackles and 2 sacks.
Agent Tesla: A solid stat line, but we do not honor bots here. Instead the award goes to linebacker Chet Larson of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 5 tackles, 2 for loss, and 1 pass defended. They started with their tackle at the line of scrimmage on a third and two in the second quarter that would force a field goal attempt. Continued their performance with a broken up pass on first down in the third quarter on a drive that would end in a three and out. Then on third and two in the fourth quarter they made a tackle at the line of scrimmage on a drive that would end in a turnover on downs to effectively win the game.
One more game of week eleven please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Kansas City Coyotes at Dallas Birddogs. Coyotes won 27 to 14. Offensive player of the game is running back Cobra Kai of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 25 rushing attempts for 116 yards, an average run of 4.6 yards, a long of 16 yards, 1 touchdown, 2 receptions for 8 yards, an average reception of 4 yards, and a long of 6 yards.
Agent Tesla: First and ten right at the end of the first quarter Kai got their first big play with a 15 yard run. Second quarter saw their long run of the day come on a first and eighteen from their own three yard line where they ran it 16 yards to make for a manageable second down. Third quarter on second and goal Kai ran it in from 1 yard out for the touchdown. Now onto defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Richard Leaking of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 10 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery.
Agent Tesla: Midway through the first quarter Leaking had the best play of the day with a 7 yard strip sack, and made more impressive as they were able to recover it for a 17 yard return before being stopped. Second quarter showed they were not just one big flashy play though as they made a tackle short of the line to gain on a third and six to cap off a three and out.
Week twelve game one please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game London Royals at Kansas City Coyotes. Royals won 31 to 21. Offensive player of the game is running back Terry Yaki of the London Royals with a stat line of 14 rushing attempts for 111 yards, an average run of 7.9 yards, a long of 57 yards, and 2 touchdowns.
Agent Tesla: First quarter on second and seven and Yaki went for 57 yards and the touchdown. Second quarter on first and goal Yaki was able to get in from 1 yard out for the touchdown. The next drive Yaki converted a second and ten with an 11 yard run. Yaki was also counted on to get the first down that iced the game courtesy of a 4 yard run and two 3 yard runs at the end of the game. Tell us about defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is strong safety Tony Yeboah of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 7 tackles and 2 sacks.
Agent Tesla: First and ten on the opening drive of the game and Yeboah got a 7 yard sack that would help to force a punt. Second quarter on a first and ten Yeboah allowed just 2 yards to be gained before making the tackle well short of the line to gain. That allowed them to finish the drive off with a 7 yard sack on the third and eight that eventually followed.
Game two of week twelve please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Norfolk Seawolves at Tijuana Luchadores. Luchadores won 31 to 7. Offensive player of the game is quarterback Mike Boss Jr. of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 19 of 25 for 168 yards passing, an average pass of 8.8 yards, 3 touchdowns, a passer rating of 133, and 1 rushing attempt for 1 yard.
Agent Tesla: Towards the end of the first quarter Boss Jr really stepped it up starting with a 21 yard pass on second and ten, and then following it up with a 16 yard touchdown pass on second and one just a play after. Third quarter on a third and thirteen Boss Jr found the end zone again with a 17 yard touchdown pass. Boss Jr made it a hat trick in the fourth quarter with a 6 yard touchdown pass on second and goal. Now tell us about defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is cornerback Mason Gillion of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 6 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery.
Agent Tesla: Gillion got started early with a forced fumble on a second and four on the opening drive of the game that they returned for 2 yards. Later in the first quarter on a second and ten Gillion got a 6 yard sack to help force a punt.
Onto game three of week twelve please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Portland Pythons at Minnesota Grey Ducks. Grey Ducks won 27 to 17. Offensive player of the game is running back Darren Pama of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 19 rushing attempts for 85 yards, an average run of 4.5 yards, a long of 14 yards, and 1 touchdown.
Agent Tesla: First quarter on first and goal and Pama only needed one opportunity to get the 6 yard touchdown run. Right at the end of the third quarter Pama picked it up again with a 13 yard run on first and ten. Second and eleven in the fourth quarter and Pama had their long run of the day for 14 yards and the first down. Defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is cornerback Jeeeeroy Lenkins of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 4 tackles, 3 passes defended, 2 interceptions, and 1 interception return touchdown.
Agent Tesla: It seems like Lenkins waited a while to make their move, but in the fourth quarter on third and six they picked off the pass and ran it back 82 yards for the touchdown. That was well worth the wait and it alone would probably be enough to win them this honor in a two score game. Lenkins wanted to be sure though and so with about a minute left in the game they picked off another pass with a 10 yard return to give their team the ball in opponent territory.
Last game of the doubleheader please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Myrtle Beach Buccaneers at Dallas Birddogs. Buccaneers won 34 to 6. Offensive player of the game is wide receiver Zach Crossley of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 7 receptions for 130 yards, an average reception of 18.6 yards, a long of 38 yards, and 1 touchdown.
Agent Tesla: First play of the game and Crossley kicks it into high gear with a 34 yard reception, and all that after they had a 34 yard return on the kickoff. Just a couple of plays later and Crossley caught the 4 yard touchdown pass on first and goal as well. Still in the first quarter and Crossley had their longest play of the day of a 38 yard reception on a first and ten to get across midfield. Midway through the fourth on a second and ten Crossley caught another long pass with a 21 yard reception to get across midfield once again. One more time to defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Chet Larson of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 4 tackles, 1 for loss, 1 sack, 2 passes defended, and 1 interception.
Agent Tesla: Larson was also a quick start as they picked off a pass in the first quarter on a second and three, although lost a yard during the return it was still over midfield. Second quarter came their second highlight with a 10 yard sack on second and nine. Fourth quarter on a first and ten Larson made the tackle after just a 1 yard gain, and then on the following third and nine broke up the pass to force a punt.
Thank you for joining me once again and I hope to bring you more highlights from week thirteen. We appreciate you being here and we hope to see you again then!

Agent Tesla: Opening drive for the Seawolves sees Forty-Two get 24 yards on the kickoff return, run it 3 yards to convert a third and one, and then carry it five consecutive times for a total of 29 yards and two first downs. That drive would end in a 1 yard touchdown run by Mr. Forty-Two on third and goal. Playoffs Broadcast
Agent Tesla: Good time appropriate greeting dear readers! Today we are talking playoffs and no I am not kidding you! Joining me today as always is the representative of the sim I call Sim Rep who will start us off with the SFC game please!
Sim Rep: Game Tijuana Luchadores at Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. Luchadores won 19 to 13. Offensive player of the game is wide receiver Quavious McGrady of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 7 receptions for 104 yards, an average reception of 14.9 yards, a long of 25 yards, and 1 touchdown.
Agent Tesla: First quarter on a third and eleven McGrady had a long 22 yard reception to get a first down. It was overtime where McGrady really made their mark though starting with a 12 yard reception on first and ten. After that the team got to third and three before McGrady converted with a 13 yard reception. Then on the second and nine shortly thereafter McGrady converted again with an 11 yard reception. All on a drive that ended in a 25 yard touchdown reception by McGrady that won the game! Three first downs and the touchdown on the drive that won the game is deserving of honors in my opinion. Now tell us about defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Tyrone Woods of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 11 tackles and 1 sack.
Agent Tesla: Second quarter on a first and ten is where Woods had their best play as they secured a 7 yard sack that would help lead to a three and out. Third quarter on a third and nine Woods made the stop after just 3 yards to keep the opposition in punting range rather than field goal range. Just before the fourth quarter Woods had a tackle on first and ten well short, and on the second and eight that followed also made a tackle short of the line to gain on a drive that would end in a turnover on downs. Later in the fourth Woods would do it again with a tackle well short on a first and ten that helped lead to a three and out.
Tell us about the NFC game please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Minnesota Grey Ducks at London Royals. Royals won 33 to 13. Offensive player of the game is running back Terry Yaki of the London Royals with a stat line of 20 rushing attempts for 113 yards, an average run of 5.6 yards, a long of 13 yards, and 1 touchdown.
Agent Tesla: Midway through the second quarter Yaki had their long run of the day of 13 yards to convert a first and ten for their first highlight of the day. Their best drive came just before the end of the first half starting with a 9 yard run on first and ten, continuing with a 9 yard run on third and ten, and finishing with an 8 yard run to convert a fourth and one on a drive that would end in points. One could argue their drive in the fourth was better though as they had a 7 yard run on a first and ten twice over on a drive that ended in a 1 yard touchdown run by them on first and goal. Defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is strong safety Captain John Price of the London Royals with a stat line of 6 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery.
Agent Tesla: Biggest defensive play of the game I would say was by Price in the third quarter on a first and ten to open a drive, and that drive would end on that first and ten as Price got a 6 yard sack that forced fumble that Price was able to recover for a 9 yard return. Price also came through in clutch late in the fourth quarter on a third and eight where they managed a 6 yard sack on a drive that would end in a turnover on downs and effectively end the game.
Congratulations to our winners and I look forward to the great Ultimini that they will put on for us tomorrow! Stay safe out there everyone and we hope we will see you next time with highlights from the Ultimini!

Agent Tesla: As cutely named as that bot is we do not honor them here and so instead the award goes to wide receiver Quavious McGrady with a stat line of 8 receptions for 91 yards, an average reception of 11.4 yards, a long of 24 yards, and 2 touchdowns. McGrady's first highlight being a 4 yard touchdown reception on second and two midway through the first quarter. Second being another 4 yard touchdown reception this time on first and goal early in the second quarter. Then their big play of the day a 24 yard reception on first and ten midway through the second quarter to get the team across midfield. Onto defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Logan Sarrasin of the London Royals with a stat line of 14 tackles.
Agent Tesla: Sarrasin led both teams in tackles with four more than anybody else, and twice as many as any other member of their own team to win this honor. Their first highlight of the day also comes on the opening drive as they made a tackle short of the sticks on third and five to force a three and out. Later in the first Logan did it again with a tackle short on third and twenty to add another three and out. Early in the second quarter on another third and twenty Sarrasin made the tackle short to force a punt.

Just a couple of plays later and Crossley caught the 4 yard touchdown pass on first and goal as well. Still in the first quarter and Crossley had their longest play of the day of a 38 yard reception on a first and ten to get across midfield. Second quarter came their second highlight with a 10 yard sack on second and nine. Fourth quarter on a first and ten Larson made the tackle after just a 1 yard gain, and then on the following third and nine broke up the pass to force a punt.

Ultimini Broadcast

Offensive player of the game is running back Richard GilBot (GM) of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 22 rushing attempts for 111 yards, an average run of 5 yards, a long of 12 yards, 1 touchdown, 2 receptions for 6 yards, an average reception of 3 yards, and a long of 7 yards.
