With it being double media I decided to release my top offensive and top defensive prospect lists a tad bit early. Also, the rankings are in no particular order. I didnt hide who I think the top pick on each side of the ball are, but after that its completely random. I based the decision off of TPE, User and stats during the dsfl season. A lot can change between now and the draft so these lists are as of now and not final season rankings.
Top 8 Offensive Prospects
1. Madison Hayes RB/WR 267 TPE- Minnesota Grey Ducks 203 Carries 996 Yards 4 TDS 31 Catches 301 Yards 2 TDS
First player on my list is RB/WR Madison Hayes from the Minnesota Grey Ducks. I believe Hayes is the overall #1 player in this draft. Hayes has the ability to make plays whether its lining up at RB or lining up as a slot reciever. Hayes is on pace to be the offensive rookie of the year, while dominating in both categories. Whoever drafts Hayes is getting a future league superstar.
2. Xander Creed RB 245 TPE Kansas City Coyotes 244 Carries 1060 Yards 7 TD's
Next up is KC RB Xander Creed, Creed is more of a traditional RB and doesn't do much of Catching the ball. Creed leads the Coyotes Offense in rushing with over 1000 yards while netting 7 TD's. If it wasn't for Hayes being so dynamic, Creed would be a clear cut top 3 pick. Still, I believe Cred will find himself a new home in the top half of the draft.
3. Tsuyu Asui WR 245 TPE London Royals 58 Catches 524 yards 3 TD's
Asui is the first WR on the list and it's for a reason... Asui finds himself in the Top 10 for receiving yards with 3 TD's. Asui is known for having great hands making him a solid Possession receiver. Being a bit of a bigger receiver, Asui uses their body to make grabs while being hit. Asui will be a great addition to a teams Receiving core the next few seasons.
4.James Wilkinson TE 251 TPE Bondi Beach Buccaneers 43 catches 416 Yards
Wilkinson is really the only top tier TE in this draft. Having already 251 TPE while playing for the Buccaneers, Wilkinson has the perfect balance of athleticism and size making a true balanced TE. Not only can he catch the ball, but Wilkinson also helps in the run game with excellent blocking. Potential top draft back this season.
5. Eleven Kendrick-Watts WR 237 TPE Kansas City Coyotes 66 Catches 825 Yards 5 TD's
Kendrick-Watts just sounds like a HOF name. In his first season Kendrick-Watts is 2nd in receiving followed by also having 5 TD's. Averaging 12.5 yards per catch, Kendrick-Watts is the type to climb the ladder and pull down the 50/50 balls while being a huge Red Zone Threat. Kendrick-Watts could very well be the first receiver off the board.
6. Cheese Farley OL 235 TPE Kansas City Coyotes 51 Pancakes 0 sacks
FAIR RUBS! Farley is the top OL in the draft. Farley leads the way for the KC OL and opens Holes for Creed while giving the QB time to get the ball to guys like Kendrick-Watts. Farley has tremendous athleticism which will allow him to play any position on the OL in the ISFL.
7. Joseph Radetzky WR 209 TPE Norfolk Seawolves 33 catches 469 Yards 1 TD
The 3rd Receiver on this list is Joseph Radetzky, the WR out of Norfolk. Radetzky leads the Seawolves in receiving with 469 Yards with 1 TD. While being a run heavy team, Radetzky as been able to show flashes of play making ability and which ever team drafts him will hope he can bring it to their team.
8. Ace Savage RB 204 TPE Norfolk Seawolves 208 carries 911 Yards 7 TD's
The Last Offensive prospect we have on the list is Norfolk RB Ace Savage. Norfolk have established themselves as a run first football team with established RB Forty-Two as well as rookie RB Ace Savage. Savage has tallied 911 Yards while getting 208 carries. Savage is a favourite to be a offensive rookie of the year candidate tallying 7 rushing TD's. Savage could be a big steal for a team selecting in the 2nd round.
Top 8 Defensive Prospects
1. HeHateMe PickSix II CB 239 TPE Bondi Beach Buccaneers 39 tackles 1 TFL 1 FF 1 INT 12 PD
First player on the defensive list is Bondi Beach Buccaneer Corner back HeHateMe PickSix II. After the early retirement of PickSix 1, PickSix II came into the dsfl on fire. Knocking down 12 passes, PickSix II has established himself as a shut down corner. The Buccaneers leave him on an island with some of the leagues best and he continues to shut them down. I wouldn't be entirely shocked if PickSix II is the first defensive player off the board.
2. Duke Cheeks LB 238 TPE London Royals 87 Tackles, 6 TFL 4 FF 2FR 1 Sack 4 PD
Last player we had someone who can shut down the pass game... now second in the list is someone who shuts down the run game. Duke Cheeks has been a beats for the London Royals this season. Cheeks has forced 4 fumbles while have 2 recoveries, as well as having 6 TFL. While registering 87 tackles, he also accounts for 1 sack and 4 PD's.
3. Lawrence Miller CB 236 TPE Portland Pythons 49 Tackles 3 INTS 11 PD
The second Corner back on the list is Portland Python player Lawrence Miller. Miller has notched in 49 tackles so far this season with 11 PD's and 3 INTS. His 3 INTS has him tied 2nd in the league 2 back from 1st. Miller has a nose for the ball when its in the air and isn't afraid of being aggressive. Miller seems poise to be a potential top 5 pick.
4. SparkySparky Boom-Man Safety 215 TPE Norfolk Seawolves 79 Tackles 2 FF 1 FR 2 sacks 1 PD
The first Safety on the list is Norfolk Seawolves SparkySparky Boom-Man. Boom-Man makes his living inside the box and coming down on the run. Notching 79 tackles, shows the Boom-Man isnt afraid to get physical in the run game. Boom-Man is also able to get it done in the passing game have excellent speed and vision to close in on WR's. Boom-Man is going to be a hard hitting saftey for a long time to come. Ball Carriers beware...
5. Fergus Callaghan JR DT 215 TPE London Royals 42 Tackles 4 TFL 6 Sacks
Our first Defensive Lineman on the list is London Royals DT Fergus Callaghan JR. Callaghan JR is a big bodied DT who can plug holes and stop the run, while also having the speed to get to the QB on passing downs.
6. Kevin Morrison LB 214 TPE Portland Pythons 87 Tackles 1 TFL 1 Sack 4 PD
The 2nd Linebacker on the list is Portland Kevin Morrison. Morrison flies at the ball downhill and makes his presence known with bit hits. Tallying 87 tackles this season Morrison is having a solid season heading into the draft and seeing his stock rise. While only getting 1 sack so far this season, he makes his presence known on pass plays hitting the QB multiple times. Once the timing gets figured out Morrison is going to be coming for all ISFL QB's.
7. Candice D. Fitinyomouf DT 221 TPE Norfolk Seawolves 36 Tackles 2 TFL 4 Sacks
8. Kita Chiasa CB 182 TPE Portland Pythons 54 Tackles 2 INTS 10 PD
Final Defensive player on the list is Corner back Kita Ciasa. Chiasa has been lights out for the Pythons Defense with 10 PD's and snagging 2 INTS. Chiasa may not be the big flashy CB but he gets the job done usually by smothering receivers and forcing QB's to make bad throws. While still being a bit raw TPE wise, Chiasa will be a good late 2nd round pick that could turn into a big steal.
Alright, so we have seen who I believe the top 8 offensive and top 8 Defensive players are in the upcoming S27 draft. Now the question remains... Where are they going to end up? Well not only am I making a top 8 list... I'm also dropping a 1st round Mock draft. Now, with there being only 1 game remaining this season nothing is set in stone. There may be some players retire or leave in Fa and sign elsewhere thus team needs changing. Just remember this us a mock draft done as if the draft stream is airing tonight. I am basing the draft order off of what it would be if it started today which means the draft order is as follows:

First Overall Pick:
Select: HeHateMe PickSix II CB
With the first overall pick the Honolulu Hahalua select HeHateMe PickSix II from Bondi Beach. Honolulu only have 2 CB's on their roster with one being S22 and other being S23. PickSix II may spend a season down in the DSFL but after that he should be their future at the CB position. With Buck Thornton stalling out at 467 TPE, PickSix II could find himself at the NB position for a season or two before moving to the outside again.
Second overall Pick:
Select: Madison Hayes RB/WR
With the second overall pick the Liberty are taking RB/WR hybrid Madison Hayes from Minnesota. The Liberty have one of the greatest RB's to ever play in the league with Sam Torenson and 3rd down back Fuzzy Dotson on their roster. Dotson is S18 while Torenson is S16. Hayes will be a day 1 starter with the Liberty as they look to turn a new page on the franchise. Hayes will be a star in Philly and with the new sim, the hybrid player can create some interesting situations.
Third overall Pick:
Select Eleven Kendrick-Watts WR
With the Third overall pick the Baltimore Hawks select Eleven Kendrick-Watts, WR from Kansas City. Baltimore adds a big weapon to their offense with big bodied Kendrick-Watts. Kendrick-Watts has made a living in the red zone in the DSFL this season for KC while using his size to out muscle opposing CB's. After a 2nd season in the DSFL Kendrick-Watts will shine in the Hawks Offense.
Fourth Overall Pick:
Select Cheese Farley OL
With the fourth overall pick, The fire Salamander select Cheese Farley OL from Kansas City. Wow OL this early? Well yeas and no. Truthfully I can see Berlin trading this pick and moving back a few spots to get Farley while also adding some later picks maybe in S28 (r/NFL class). But for the sake of this ill just say Berlin takes Farley 4th overall. Adding a 3rd member to the offensive line for Berlin will help get the offense off the ground and take them to the next level.
Fifth Overall Pick:
Select Kevin Morrison LB
With the fifth selection, The San Jose Sabercats select LB Kevin Morrison from Portland. The Sabrecats are lacking on DE's so they may look at active LB's to fill that void. Enter... Kevin Morrison. Morrison uses his mix of speed and strength to be able to play anywhere in the LB core. He will be relied on to go after the QB as well as plug any other holes thats needed.
Sixth overall pick:
select James Wilkinson TE
With the 6th pick, the Yeti grab the 2nd highest TPE player in the draft. James Wilkinson, TE our of Bondi Beach. The Yeti don't have a lot of wholes on their roster but the TE position needs a new face. 2 lower TPE players who aren't actively earning are sitting in the #1 and #2 TR positions in Colorado. With the Addition of Wilkinson, the yeti can let one of them go and instantly plus Wilkinson into their lineup.
Seventh Overall Pick:
select Tsuyu Asui WR
With the Seventh Overall Pick the Arizona Outlaws select Tsuyu Asui, WR from London. The Outlaws snag Asui as Saba Donut is in regression and nearing the end of his career. Spending a 2nd season of the DSFL is going to be great for Asui and will leave Asui is a good spot of making the roster in 2 seasons. The Outlaws add a young prospect to their receiving Core.
Eighth Overall Pick:
select Duke Cheeks LB
With the Eight selection in the draft, the New York Silverbscks select Duke Cheeks, LB from London. The Silverbacks have built a very solid Defense in 2 seasons and they aren't stopping anytime soon. Holden Summers is slowly riding off into the sunset and the Silverbacks have a perfect replacement for him. Cheeks is going to be a solid run stopper for the Silverbacks adding a little more grit into the lineup.
Ninth Overall Pick
select Ace Savage RB
With the Ninth pick in the draft, the Sarasota Sailfish select Ace Savage RB our of Norfolk. Much like the Berlin pick, I believe this is a prime spot that a team can trade up for allowing Sarasota to move down and take Savage. Savage is a early-mid 2nd round pick but fills a need for Sarasota. With a S23 RB only having 415 TPE, Sarasota can add Savage and give him 1 more season in the DSFL before calling him up to split time with Chan. Again, I truly believe Sarasota will move from this position to gain another 2nd round and take Savage there.
Tenth Overall Pick:
select Joseph Radetzky WR
With the Tenth pick of the ISFL draft, the OCO Otters select WR Joseph Radetzky from Norfolk. This could be seen as a bit of a reach but the Otters add some depth at WR with this pick. This could be another pick thats on the move considering the Otters have another 1st rounder this draft. The New GM has ties to Norfolk and they will need a 3rd WR on the roster in a couple seasons making Radetzky the move here at 10.
Eleventh overall pick:
VIA
Select Lawrence Miller CB
With the eleventh pick of the draft, the Wraiths select Lawrence Miller CB put of Portland. The wraiths snag Mervin Leonard's replacement here. Miller is the best player available at this point in the draft and it fits the Wraiths need perfectly. Miller will spend a season down in the DSFL before getting called up to the Wraiths roster, once he joins the team he'll be thrown right into things and potentially play the NB position for the team.
Twelfth overall pick
select SparkySparky Boom-Man Safety
With the Twelfth overall pick, the Chicago Butchers select SparkySparky Boom-Man safety from Norfolk. Boom-Man falls a bit in the draft just because the safety position isn't a big need. Chicago takes Boom-Man here because Boom-Man can also play a bit like a LB which is a need for Chicago. Boom-Man joins a Chicago team that has found their stride and will be competing for an Ultimus sooner rather than later. Boom-Man fall is great news for Chicago.
Thirteenth overall pick:
select Maui Waialiki OL
With the Thirteenth pick in the draft, the New Orleans Secondline select Maui Waialili OL from Dallas. NOLA gets some needed help at OL. Waialiki adds a massive presence to the NOLA OL. A 2nd seaosn in the DSFL will help Waialiki get primed to join NOLA where they'll continue to make a run at another Ultimus.
Fourteenth Pick:
VIA
select Candice D. Fitinyomouf DT
With the Fourteenth pick in the draft, the Orange County Otters select Candice D. Fitinyomouf DT out of Norfolk. Fitinyomouf lands in a perfect spot with OCO. He'll most likely go back to the DSFL for a 2nd season but by the time he is ready to be called up he will have surpassed Carl Wheezer in TPE thus making him a starter on the defensive line. Fitinyomouf will add size and strength to the Otters Defense and will try to help them get back to their championship reigns.
