#101 - BER - DB Jadakiss - Safety - hotdog - S23
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want safety Joel Drake at this pick, who went one pick earlier. Jadakiss is as good of a consolation prize as you can ask for, though. Hotdog is a great earner, and I think he’s actually a GM in the SHL, so he brings some management experience to the table. I’ve done a good job of putting a strong defense together, so I wanted to keep rounding it out, and try to lean on the defense to win us games. That meant that a good and young safety was a great direction to go.
#102 - HON - Richard Gilbert - RB - SwankyPants31 - S22
Gilbert’s caught a series of bad breaks in Colorado, always being stashed as an RB2. First, Owens & now, Williams. Gilbert has earned the chance at a starring role & here it is.
#103 - COL - Joseph Joestar - LB - Lime - S24
JoJo seems to have really spiked in popularity during quarantine, but I don’t get it. Meanwhile, Joestar has burst onto the ISFL scene as one of the league’s top tacklers two seasons running. He uses his speed to zip around the fields and finish all kinds of plays. He and Mango-Panda should be able to keep everything in front of them in coverage and also both be able to get after the Quarterback if asked to do so. S24 and - S25 are going to be highly valued players, and I feel like getting such a young Linebacker in the 8th round, feels like a very good value. I should have about 4 years of incredible high-quality production from my Linebacking duo before I need to worry about a true replacement.
#104 - PHI - Literallyjust A. Hexagon - S - Jpach - S22
Another S22 player! Jpach might be best known for their contributions to the league such as league streamer but they have an excellent player too! Sure he thinks that he’s going to retire and make a QB but oh boy do I have some news for you Jpach..
#105 - CHI – Bubba Thumper – DT – woelkers – S17
Chicago didn't wait much longer to pull the trigger on their final defensive linemen, picking up the legend himself, Bubba Thumper. With 4 seasons more time in the league than his fellow defensive linemen, Thumper will be the anchor of the line, ensuring the others lining up next to know what to do and when to do it. Whilst father time is slowly but surely catching up to him, he still has shown a lot of talent throughout his career and is still a scary figure for an offence to be lining up opposite from. With Thumper’s talents added to the D-line, no one player can be left underrated, each on their own can call for a double team and take over a game, having 4 of these on one team is going to cause massive headaches every single game.
#106 - NYS - Flash Panda - Wide Receiver - juniped - S21
I’m not sure if juniped remembers me, but they used to not have the greatest opinion of me, haha, after I purposefully ruined the Philadelphia Liberty’s counting bot back in the day. I’ve since changed my ways and become a great counting bot contributor, with over a 98% success rate. So hopefully we can move past all of that and keep building this team. I think that with this pick, I’ve most likely put together the best passing attack in the league. I’ve got three wide receivers that are all nearing max effectiveness, and possibly the best receiving tight end in the league.
#107 - AZ -David Rector - CB - Ddrector - S18
Hello fellow S18 member! I know that you’ve had a tough career not registering some of the stats that you would expect from someone with your earning caliber, but regression changed something and you are on fire this season! Maybe it's just that great new update that you have
but whatever it is, bring that talent on over and help this secondary tear up the entire league.
#108 - NOLA - Tyrone Biggums - Safety - Revolution5 - S18
I drafted long time user Rev here at safety for New Orleans because his experience and viability to still play the position outweighed the eventual retirement, hopefully after a couple successful seasons. I felt Rev could contribute to the War Room and help upcoming safeties. You can not have enough people like Rev on your team.
#109 - SJS - Venus Powers - K/P - Baron1898 - S20
With a offence that shall prove to be dominant and scoring loads, some might question taking a Kicker/Punter this early but the Sabercats wish not only to take away some teams future options of saving themselves but ensure that the plethora of touchdowns they do score will be capped other with extra point after extra point. No one is better in the business for doing that than Powers, the highest TPE K/P who shall continue to round out the Sabercats, where if their offence does occasionally fail, one swift bomb by powers puts the opposition team right back on their heels, allowing the pressure not to be placed on what will be a weaker defensive unit compared to other teams.
#110 - BAL - Matthew McDairmid - K/P - Matty7478 - S22
Simply put, Matty is an absolute beast & what he brings to the table off the field is invaluable, so even though the sim won’t let him kick in overtime, I couldn’t risk letting him slip through my fingers. Also, did you know he’s Scottish?
#111 - OCO - Thor Kirkby - S - Acsolap - S20
For many seasons, I have admired Thor from afar. Now, I get to have him on a roster, which is incredibly exciting. Being from S20, he will hit regression in his first season with this new team, but his ability will still be more than enough to keep up and help this team compete immediately. With that being said, an eye needs to be kept on the future, so some younger DBs will be on the menu for later on in this draft. For now, Kirkby and Dawkins will lead the way for the new Otters Secondary.
#112 - AUS - Bob Bob - S - nickyvmlp - S23
First things first, I’d like to tip my hat to nicky for his media piece assessing team needs from around the start of the season; we in the New York war room enjoyed that read. Now, again, secondary has always been king in this league, and Bob Bob joins Prince Vegeta and Matt Krause to further cement the Copperheads as one of the best in this new look league. I have a soft spot for S, so there’s a good chance Bob Bob could find himself playing in a CB spot, but that versatility is, well, exactly why I have a soft spot for S. Not to mention nicky is a great locker room presence, and a force to be reckoned with in media.
#113 - AUS - Brach Thomaslacher - LB - RDBSouthPaw - S24
Brach Thomaslacher, in my understanding, was built to be a bit of a powerhouse at LB, likely more the SLB type than the MLB type, but regardless of which spot the Copperheads play him at, he figures to be dangerous for them. My limited interactions with RDB as a user have been quite pleasant, and he seems to bring a capable mind to the war room in Portland, so he has the potential to be quite a useful member of this new Copperheads locker room.
#114 - OCO - Adam Schell - LB - Cincyfan96 - S24
Even though Cincyfan is taking me out behind the woodshed in ISFL Fantasy Football, I decided to put my grudge aside and draft the incredible young Linebacker to pair with Quaid. In my eyes, S24 and - S25[/b] are the golden tickets in this redraft project, and Schell is my pick from those groups. The key is a balance of youth and experience, and my Linebackers are a prime example. Quaid is nearing the end of his career but still has multiple quality years left. And Schell will reach his peak as Quaid starts to fall off. Later in the draft I will look to get another young Linebacker to further bolster this unit and prepare for the future.
#115 - BAL - Claude Miller II - DT - Bruins10 - S22
I’d be lying if I said I knew this user all too well & for the purpose of this exercise, I am sorry for that. On the field, though, Miller has been an absolute stud for Berlin, winning Defensive Tackle of the Year in Season 25. This may be a bit of a risky play stocking up on S22s like they’re going out of style, but they’re heading into their prime so I may as well take a shot.
#116 - SJS - Louisiana Purchase - CB - Modern_Duke - S18
On their ninth pick, San Jose finally picked up their first defensive player, as well as their kick and punt returner in Louisiana Purchase. As he is seeing out his last legs in the league, Purchase will be looking to use what gas is left in the tank to propel a weaker defensive team to an Ultimus victory. Whilst a great cornerback, Purchase is known more so for his success as a returner, holding both the highest season and career kick return average. When he helps the defence ensure the opposition has to punt, Purchase is the best man in history at returning the ball and will give the offensive unit the ability to start playing on the front foot, and with the line-up of the offence, any extra inch they are given is going to be turned into miles or rather, touchdowns.
#117 - NOLA - Marcella Tōriki - Running Back - Bex - S18
One of the best Running Backs to come through New Orleans. I know that Bex has retired Marcella since I made this pick. But when I made this pick, I thought to myself, I can convince her to stick around through another round of regression and help lead this offense. And maybe another season since we are STACKED! If one thing winning can do, is keep off father time.
#118 - AZ - Videl-San - WR - ValorX77 - S23
Valor, Did you ever do that 5 minutes of praise that i purchased in the charity event? If so, I'm going to need a link. Either way you can add this to your praise. I added you to this excellent team with another S23 wide receiver who is going to take the other teams CB1 away from you. You have a QB with the most important stats max. Jump on this bandwagon and let's go win a championship!
#119 - NYS - Julio Jones - Offensive Line - 24redcrayons - S23
We got the man with many names. Whether you call him 24, crayons, John Smith 2, or Valor, I’m sure you’ve heard of him. Crayons is one of the funniest people I’ve met in the league. He’s a max earner. He’s arguably the best offensive linemen in Minnesota Grey Ducks history. He’s been my teammate on two different teams, so why not make it three?
#120 - CHI – Melvin Murder-Moose – LB – SchwarzNarr – S24
With 4 pieces of the secondary and their four-person line complete Chicago finally turn their attention to the linebackers of the league, who, with more depth, allow Chicago to really pick up some valuable assets to the team. The first line-backer taken by them is a murderous moose named Melvin. Despite being a murder-moose, Melvin isn’t all about making the big hit, they are in fact a very balanced player who can stop the run or cover the pass.
#121 - PHI - Busch Light - LB - Crow19 - S24
A little younger than the rest of the defense but that had to happen based on how I’ve neglected the position. Thankfully Busch is a great LB and Crow is a great earner and constant updater. He had 553 TPE at the time of the draft and that is plenty for him to be a great addition to this insane defense!
#122 - COL - Future Trunks - WR - Lemon - S21
If you take a user named Lime, are you not then morally obligated to take a user named Lemon? I certainly believe so. In all seriousness, Trunks is easily one of the coolest Dragonball Z characters. Wait wait, I’m off again. Future Trunks is a fantastic Receiver in the ISFL and is established as a top threat in the league. He is putting together his 3rd 1000-yard campaign in a row. And while his first season was not a 1000-yarder, it was a 900-yarder. Suffice it to say, Trunks is a good ball catcher. I know, shocker. S21 has another full season before entering regression, so he should have another 3-4 years of great play.
#123 - HON - Rich Triplet - CB - Kotasa - - S25
I can’t say enough about this guy. Kotasa is an absolute beast & I am beyond thrilled to have him on my team, both for real & again in this redraft. A top earner from the - S25[/b] class, Triplet will slot in well across from Shields.
#124 - BER - Magnus Valdyr - Safety - KamiCommie - S22
As I mentioned at the end of my last pick explanation, I wanted to keep rounding out the defense. Well, I wanted to keep that theme going here, and grabbed my other starting safety in Magnus Valdyr. He’s S22, and if I’m not mistaken, I think that I’ve seen him in at least one ISFL Pro Bowl. Getting a couple of pro bowl safeties can only mean good things for this outstanding defense.
#125 - YKW - Leeroy Jenkins - Wide Receiver - dahayn - S22
I do not know user dahayn, but what I do know is he has built a solid Wide Receiver. I know Sam and him can get on the same page in the sim, he has a few seasons before regression hits and having a solid wideout is never a bad thing.
#126 - SAR - James Lewandowski - TE - 3lewsers - S21
One of the better TEs in the league, I couldn’t pass on this opportunity to pair James Lewandwoski with his Baltimore QB, Chika Fujiwara. Targets are going to be a hot commodity for this new Sailfish roster, and James Lewandowski will be jockeying for position to get his fair share. 3lewsers isn’t a user I know much about; if I had to guess based on his S21 tag, he likely hails from the MLR, and those users, generally, have been exceptional additions to our league, and thus, I’m happy to have him as part of this team.
#127 - SAR - Hank Steel - DT - DrChops - S22
I figure every good DT needs a sturdy companion piece, and considering the Sailfish already have their companion piece in Daymond Brooks, Hank Steel is an excellent addition to the roster here. Quiet in his time with NOLA and quiet again with Berlin, maybe the Sailfish can give Hank Steel a true opportunity to shine. Chops, meanwhile, is an excellent user, and although he’s a bit quieter, he’s lowkey one of the nicer users the league has to offer, and one of the more flexible users as well. Other teams just happened to overlook him, and that will pay dividends for the Sailfish here.
#128 -YKW - Mo “Mamba” Magic - Offensive Line - thevoicelesscreator - S22
O man, where to start, I absolutely love TVC, he was one of the few people I got acquainted with at the beginning of my time in the league. He has remained a close friend. He has helped lead Colorado the Ultimus a few times. And having him in the War Room and in the Locker Room will help provide much needed leadership and balance. Plus, Sam needs someone to guard his blindside.
#129 - BER - Taro Raimon - Wide Receiver - xTri - S24
Okay okay, fine. We’ll grab another offensive player. Cortez is great, but he’s obviously going to need some weapons. As I said earlier, we’re going to lean on the running game heavily in the start of this new team’s next chapter. That said, with this pick we’ll grab a younger wide receiver to grow into their own along with Cortez. This should be a dynamic duo for many years to come.
#130 - HON - Randy Vuxta - WR - roastfuego - S20
Despite some recent bad press, Vuxta is still a solid receiver & entering his final season before regression, should compete with Howlett for the WR1 spot in camp.
#131 - COL - Logan Noble Jr. - DE - ItsJustBarry - S21
10 rounds in, it is finally time to take on the team’s first Defensive Lineman. Now, I have to show my hand here and say that my time on the Awards committee had clouded my judgement. After seeing Noble’s statistical numbers over the years in the Awards discussions, I thought he was a clear choice to grab here. And, technically, his stats are great. But he’s been IA for some time now and I missed that. The good news is, he’s been performing regardless, so not all hope is lost. If he can continue on a similar trajectory as his previous 3-4 seasons, he’ll be a TFL machine that could also get the occasional sack. It could be worse, but I’d rather have an active member for the locker room.
#132 - PHI - Rusty Rucker - LB - LancedJack - - S25
We had to go younger than intended at LB on back to back picks but these are still great players and I have to look at this as a long term build for this team. Good enough to make an impact but long term still great players and give the team some diversity.
#133 - CHI – Hingle McCringleberry – LB – Jmac NCheese – S23
The second of the two line-backers taken, Hingle McCringleberry may be a season more experienced but is the less acclaimed of the two back-to-back Line-backers taken here by Chicago. Whilst the Moose could do anything asked of her to a great level, McCringleberry specialises in doing one thing amazingly, and that is being fast. Hingle excels at rushing past the blockers put in front of him and stuffing any chance of a play happening, whether that be sacking the quarterback or wrapping up the running back if the ball is being played along the ground. Whatever situation comes up, you can rely on one thing, and that is that Hingle will be there in no time to put a stop to it and make his presence felt.
#134 - NYS - Sam Sidekick - Kicker / Punter - Evok - S22
EVOK! I love Evok so much. She’s one of my favorite people in the sim league world. She’s my teammate on the Chicago Butchers, and she’s my GM in the SMJHL with the Quebec City Citadelles. It might be a bit early to grab a kicker in this redraft, but it’s definitely not too early to grab this user! She’s a great earner and a great person. Her player is from the S22 draft class, so she should be around for quite a while, especially playing the kicker position.
#135 - AZ - Dorothy Zbornak - DE - Slothman07 - S24
What's that? You want to play CB? Well that's just too dang bad! In the real sim you may have shaved off a ton of weight and somehow shrunk several inches, but here you’re a wonderful DE that is playing opposite of Claxton. Sure I have 1 more DB slot available but you’re going to sure up my DE position and hopefully sack some QBs. This team is looking young and dangerous!
#136 - NOLA - Garfield Despacito Jr. - Wide Receiver - Gwdjohnson - S22
Closing in on almost nine hundred TPE and a very experienced user is Gwdjohnson. Was super happy he was sitting here at this pick. I needed someone for Sloth to throw too. I snagged Phillips as a TE threat but needed a True number one Wide Receiver, insert, Despacito!
#137 - SJS - Mervin Leonard - CB - hihihi_62 - S17
Lining up on the other side of Purchase is Mervin Leonard, another veteran CB who will offer an extremely wise, versatile and steadfast presence for the Sabercats defence. There isn’t much that Leonard hasn’t seen in his career, and whether it be in the new era of the league we are into, he has performed consistently well. Paired up with Purchase, the starting CB duo for the Sabercats offer a strong anchor for the rest of the unit to always rely upon and look to in times of need to reassure and structure them.
#138 - BAL - Dukburg QuakStak - CB - Bwestfield - - S25
Back to the GM gang we go with yet another member I’ve known for quite some time. Westy’s built a couple of Hall of Fame caliber receivers, but this time he’s decided to try his hand at the defensive side of those matchups. With Oles & Hellzapoppin already in tow, Baltimore’s building themselves an impressive secondary now & moving forward.
#139 - OCO - Tex Wrecks - DE - 209tacos - - S25
Almost halfway through the draft, the Otters elect to take their first Defensive Lineman in Tex Wrecks. Defensive line is a critical position group, but the good news is there is incredible value even at the midpoint of the draft. Tacos has been a backfield menace in his first two seasons in the big leagues; racking up tackles for loss like it’s his job. One of my failings in these redrafts is that I don’t have a huge pool of interactions spread across the league. I mainly stick to my two Locker rooms. That being said, I don’t know much about tacos as a user, but I can’t imagine a sentient pile of 209 tacos could possibly be that bad.
#140 - AUS - Asher Montain - DE - Attopax - S24
The Copperheads, like Sarasota with their last pick, need to find a way to add talent to their defensive line, and perhaps no player is better suited to that than Asher Montain. Although still young, Asher Montain should pair nicely with Magnus Rikiya on either side of the line, and figures to create a handful for opposing offensive linemen to manage. Attopax, meanwhile, is a top tier user, who holds one of my favorite league gigs as a member of the Appeals team. Despite that job not paying very well, no team should fear that Attopax is going to be leaving this league any time soon.
#141 - AUS - Clark Boyd - TE - Cheech65 - S22
Although the Copperheads are less desperate for a TE as a threat in the receiving game, Suleiman Ramza will no doubt be relieved to know he’s gaining a good one in the form of Clark Boyd. The former second fiddle to James Angler in Sarasota, Clark Boyd has begun to grow into his own in Berlin, and with Suleiman Ramza throwing him the ball on the Copperheads, he may finally have an opportunity to flourish. Cheech is an easygoing user to add to the locker room as well, so this is a solid pick from top to bottom.
#142 - OCO - Raylan Crowder - DE - Asked Madden - - S25
Woah! Two Defensive Ends in a row?! Are you nuts? Something that I should note at some point in this draft writeup is that I was flanked by the current San Jose GM, CK Royal. This entire draft was a constant battle for the Sabercats. As such, I had to alter some of my strategy accordingly, because, no bias at all, Sabercats are the best. And Madden is one of the best of them. After taking Tex, I felt confident that Woelkers would not look Madden’s way, but with CK lurking, now was the time to grab the lad. Crowder has had a down season statistically, but he’ll bounce back. And as a user, he’s absolutely top-flight. Could not be happier with this selection.
#143 - BAL - Davriel Lavigne - S - Raven - - S25
Again, we tap into the GM pool with former Honolulu GM Raven. Another young max earner from the - S25[/b] draft class like QuakStak, Lavigne fortifies the secondary & should make this group really tough to pass against in a couple seasons. Plus, who doesn’t love a good 2000s punk reference?
#144 - SJS - Mack Arianlacher - LB - LordMacharius - S19
With most of the other teams going heavy on defensive players to start the draft, the Sabercats start to go looking for a defence that can compete well in the first couple of seasons that can do a job that sees their offence be the star of the show. With this, a large number of Line-backers were gone and left on the table was the wily veteran Mack Arianlacher. Playing for both Austin and Yellowknife, many might see him as a bit of a journeyman, doing a job but never rising to fame, but that is exactly what Sabercats are looking for in their defensive unit. Mack is a guy who won’t steal the show but will do what is asked of him for a defensive unit that won’t be on any highlight reel, just the winning side of football games and that’s what matters.
#145 - NOLA - Ray-Ray Jackson - Cornerback - Jason - S23
Ah a former duck and Defensive Back teammate of mine. How could I not shore up my secondary more by taking someone I know can handle the job. Jason may not be as active as some in the locker room. But he is a fantastic user and for me was a no brainer here. He can slot in at safety and will be free from regression for a few more seasons.
#146 - AZ - Goat Tank - DT - Goat Tank - - S25
Goat. Tank. I should leave it at that, but I’ll say more because it's media and I could alway use more cash. You were a monster user in the - S25[/b] draft. Most people would argue that you still should go 1oa but i ruined that. But I’ll make up for it as best I can but picking the GOAT for this elite Arizona team that I’m drafting now. At 445 tpe at the start of this draft you join 2 fantastic DE on an outstanding young defense.
#147 - NYS - Gregor Macgregor - Safety - KanakoTheSquirrel - S21
With this pick we’re finally going back to the defensive side of the ball for the first time since round five. I don’t know Kanako very well, but I believe that they used to be a GM for the Portland Pythons, so they clearly already know what they’re doing. I’ve never seen them be rude or anything, so no red flags in my eyes. They play safety and have a good amount of TPE, so this was a pretty easy choice when I saw them still on the board.
#148 - CHI – Joseph Petrongolo – RB – Jo3fish5 – S23
Chicago are called the butchers, but that doesn’t mean that aren’t animal friendly, after drafting a moose, they now pickup the best damn frog in the league, Joseph Petrongolo. After 10 picks of defensive players, Chicago finally pull the trigger and look towards who will take the field in the key offensive positions and when such a fine specimen like Petrongolo is still available, there was no time taken in making this pick. Your classic speed back, Petrongolo hops side to side of defenders, and leaving them in his dust. A young star of the future, Petrongolo has a little bit of time before he becomes one of the best running backs in the league but he his making all the right hops to get there with his potential and eagerness to learn and grow.
#149 - PHI - Rashad Hilliard - CB - GotDatWeeFee - S24
Looks like we have to keep getting younger but this is a great pick because now CC cant draft every player that has ever been a duck. What a homer that CC guy. If you are reading this far into the draft send CC a DM so that he can make new friends and draft different players.
#150 - COL - Lebong Simwell - DT - Birdman - S24
Just as I did with my OCO draft, I’ve gone back-to-back Defensive Linemen with picks 10 and 11. Was that intentional? Nope. But a fun coincidence, I guess. While most Defensive Tackles don’t show up on the stat sheet too often, Simwell has managed to get 4 sacks this season which followed up a solid - S25[/b] campaign. The rise of human-controlled Offensive Linemen has made life difficult in the Defensive trenches, but Simwell is a large lad that will fill the interior gap more than adequately for a long while to come.
#151 - HON - Julio Tirtawidjaja - RB - indonesianhusker - S22
Much like Gilbert, Julio’s another one who’s been biding his time, waiting for a chance to be a true #1 back. I guess they both can’t be #1s, but I’ve handled touches for tougher RB battles before, so we’ll see how this shakes out.
#152 - BER - Big Edd - Defensive Tackle - Big Edd - S22
Big Edd. The bane of my existence. I’m not sure how he fell all the way down to pick 152, to be honest. Even though his sole purpose in this world is to ping me with nonsense, the other teams have forced my hand here. He isn’t the greatest earner, but he is on the Defensive Tackle of the Year ballot every single year, winning multiple of the awards, as far as I can remember. He’s a fun user to have in the locker room, so that’s a bonus to the on field production. Again, I have no idea how I got a perennial Defensive Tackle of the Year candidate this late in the draft. Another win for the Berlin defense.
#153 - YKW - Hank Winchester - Linebacker - timeconsumer - - S25
Ah a banking team member, I know timeconsumer is a staple in this league. I wanted him not only for his experience, but the fact that he was sitting here as a - S25[/b] player and I knew I had a fantastic user/earner I could not let him slip any farther down. He will be the anchor for this defense for many seasons to come.
#154 - SAR - Brendan Lanier - S - jdourtled - S22
I won’t pretend to know a ton about Brendan Lanier’s career arc with San Jose; I just quite simply don’t know. I also can’t pretend to know a ton about jdourtled; I’ve spoken with him, he’s a solid user, but I don’t know a ton about him. What I do know is that the Sailfish still need to complete their secondary, and the Brendan Lanier/jdourtled combo platter here is likely the best way to continue building that. The secondary for the Sailfish is going to have a ton of success, and Brendan Lanier immediately adds to that.
#155 - SAR - Sean Snyder - WR - DatSmolBoi - S22
I’ll reiterate how important the receiving corps is for a QB like Chika Fujiwara: very. With William Lim as an incredible WR1, this team needs a sturdy player to pair across the field from him, and Sean Snyder is exactly that. First in NOLA across from Ed Barker, and now in NY across from Jackson Kingston, Sean Snyder has made his career as the perfect pairing for your top target, and he’ll continue to thrive in that role with the Sailfish. DSB as a user is similarly nothing to sneeze at; he tends to be a bit quieter, but any time he does poke his head into the locker room, you know you’re in for a treat.
#156 - YKW - Tree Gelbman - Tight End - RenoJacksonHS - S21
Although I have drafted Tree in fantasy the last two seasons and it just hasn’t broken out like I knew he should be (I blame CC and the whole Chicago War Room, Yeah, I said it!) The snagging Tree here was too good. Gives a reliable balanced Tight End for Sam and our whole offensive.
#157 - BER - Dan Foster - Cornerback - Arkz - - S25
This is my first pick from the - S25[/b] draft class, and I’d be hard pressed to find a better user from the class, if I’m being honest. He was one of my favorite prospects when I was head scout for Minnesota prior to his DSFL draft. He’s proven himself since then as well, becoming an awards committee head and remaining one of the top earners in his class. I love Arkz as a person, love messing with him, and I’m excited to get his fake player on my fake football team in this fake redraft of an already fake football league.
#158 - HON - Icebox Riposte - OL - Mavfatha - S24
As I’ve said many times before, I’m not against human OL, but picky about who I’d trust enough to unseat a bot & Mav certainly checks that box. He’s been a consistently high earner, not only in this league, but in PBE as well over the last 3 years or so.
#159 - COL - Rickie Vaughne - CB - supertardis101 - S24
While he may not earn as highly as some of his fellow S24 compatriots, I have it on a great authority that Tardis is a great locker room guy and a multi-sport athlete. That authority is me. Because we’re teammates in San Jose. He has struggled a little bit to stack some cheddar in this league for equipment, but that wasn’t going to keep me from adding him to the squad. He fits a need, and is a young lad with plenty of potential ahead of him. Now with Defensive Backs from S22, S23 and S24 I have some flexibility and time to find new blood later down the road.
#160 - PHI - Joshua Campbell - WR - Buttersquach101 - S24
We had to go back to offense at some point. We are looking at Josh Campbell to boost this WR core. As previously mentioned our main receiver is going to be Heath Evans, but Campbell is going to be our WR1 on the depth chart. As a ISFL GM and veteran player I know that he will continue to earn and improve.
#161 - CHI – Mattathias Caliban – QB – PigSnout – S24
With one key offensive star taken, Chicago sure up the other, most important position on the field, with their drafting of Mattathias Caliban. Another young star of the future, Caliban has been riding nothing but a wave of new-found respect and stardom by his performances in his rookie year of the top league. Given time, Caliban has the skills to take a team all the way, already displaying a talent and managing a game and remaining cool under pressure when the pocket is collapsing, well pass a level expected for a quarterback with his experience. Keeping this pairing of Petrongolo and Caliban together will definitely see the Chicago Butcher’s offence light up the scorecard in a few seasons time, whilst being able to hold their own come game 1 after this league redraft.
#162 - NYS - Nicholas Ayers - Running Back - Faded - S23
Running backs have taken a pretty big tumble in this draft, most likely because there are so many quality running backs in the league that are available for us to draft. This means that I can still get a stellar starting running back all the way down here in round 12, like Nicholas Ayers. Faded is a good user. He’s a good dude. He’s a fun guy who I’ve talked to quite a bit, and I’ve played games with him a decent amount. Not a bad pick at all.
#163 - AZ - Gunner Thorbjornsson - RB- Z-Whiz - S24
Running back was one of the lowest priorities for me in this draft. I think we’ve seen that a solid RB over 250 TPE with the right speed can be very successful.Given the talent at the position I get to wait this long but still at a young fantastic running back to this team. At this point we only have one and they aren't the speed archetype so I’m not confident how well they’ll be able to play Slot if needed.
#164 - NOLA - Susan Cash Jr. - Wide Receiver - 2Burkeulosis - S22
Bam! A teammate of mine and a solid user. He maybe slightly quiet and pop in from now and then, but he will slot in just fine in the slot or outside as the #2 wide receiver, was super happy to grab him here and hopefully get some solid production!
#165 - SJS - Medicinal Toblerone - DE - JuOsu - - S25
The youngest player drafted by the Sabercats so far, they look to start to build a defensive line with a wealth of potential in a young age player. Medicinal Toblerone may have one of the most recognisable and beloved names in the league, but don’t forget the impact they can have on the field. Whilst the first season for the Sabercats will see a mostly older defence take the field, Toblerone is the number one future star for them and will be looking to show all teams around the league what faces them for leagues to come, a true terror a nightmare for opposition offences.
#166 - BAL - Captain Rogers - RB - TeyonSchavari - S24
With the big name quarterbacks gone at this point, I thought it’d be wise to double down on the run game with another young back in the form of Rogers. A true speed back, he should pair nicely with Yoda’s more versatile style of play.
#167 - OCO - Swantavius Jones - CB - Swanty - - S25
Swanty is my third - S25[/b] pick in a row, and what a pick it is! In his rookie season, he absolutely showed out as one of the top tackling corners in the league. Initially Swanty will line up as CB2 behind Beerus, but in a couple seasons should move up into the CB1 role. Again, this is the strategy I wanted to play out in this redraft. Take some established vets to lead early on, then surround them with young talent that can easily replace once regression starts to take its toll. One more Defensive Back should help round out what I think is a pretty sweet all-around Secondary.
#168 - AUS - Yuuto Kira Cloudera - DT - kentakira - S23
After Colorado traded Yuuto Kira Cloudera to San Jose, I consider him to be the infamous one that got away. It is also worth noting that, following that trade, Colorado immediately lost back-to-back Ultimus games to San Jose. So, maybe Yuuto Kira Cloudera has that special spark. Or, maybe Yuuto Kira Cloudera is just a piece of the puzzle, as he will be for the Copperheads. Kentakira is a user I always liked, and who deserves to play a key role in building a quality defensive line; adding him to a team with Magnus Rikiya and Asher Montain provides exactly that opportunity.
#169 - AUS - Tayshawn Crunk - S - Crunk - - S25
Tayshawn Crunk made a hell of a name for himself prior to the - S25[/b] ISFL draft and continues to do so to this day. His sim performance has been outstanding, putting him healthily in the Defensive Rookie of the Year conversation last season, and even briefly allowing him to rival his new defensive backfield mate with the new look Copperheads, Prince Vegeta. Crunk himself has also rapidly climbed the ranks, ascending to the GM throne in Arizona, and cementing himself as the type of user you just have to have in your war room. He’s young, so his slide isn’t too terribly shocking, but it is a blessing to have him here.
#170 - OCO - Tre’Darius J’Vathon - WR - Rise of Smitty - S24
Give me speed or give me death! If I’m completely honest, it truly is a coincidence that all three of my Wide Receivers are Speed Receivers. But it totally works for the persona I have developed in my redraft writeups. And, while it was an accident, I’m not convinced that having all this speed is a bad thing. This also gives me Receivers from S22, S23, and S24 which means I won’t have to worry about drafting this position for at least 3-4 seasons. Overall, I’m pleased with the position group I’ve assembled, and if they all continue with their current earning, they should be top competitors for a long time. Kaepercolin should feel confident throwing to any of these targets.
#171 - BAL - Deondre Thomas-Fox - WR - AW13 - S19
Is anybody really shocked here? Despite being in his first season in regression, I was a bit surprised he was available this late, but I’ll certainly take a gift in round 13. DTF has been one of the most reliable wideouts in the game over the past few seasons & his ability to drag defenders seemingly miles is unparalleled. It’s also worth noting here that while I was aware that he was planning on retiring after this season, he hadn’t officially done so before we started, so he had to be treated as normal.
#172 - SJS - Guy Fields - LB - r0tzuba - - S25
Back to back - S25[/b] backs as Sabercats start to map out a defence of the future, after their offence starts to fall down due to regression, it is the players like Fields that will make way for a top tier defence to become the anchor of the team. Whilst it’s the CB’s that will be the starting anchors for the Sabercats, Fields will grow with Toblerone to fill that role for the future of the defence, showing a massive amount of promise and skill. Fields can already hold his own and will only continue to develop under the tutelage of long-time vet Arianlacher, so look out in the future as to what Fields will be doing.
#173 - NOLA - Mai Fukushu - Running Back - Jiggly_333 - S24
Another longtime user with a ton of experience fell to me here. On their way to almost eight hundred TPE already, Mai cements their self as our RB1 going forward. Having a longtime user provides needed stability and a voice that can be trusted when it comes to decision making.
#174 - AZ - Gary Goodman - LB - ShnarlyDude - - S25
I thought I may have waited too long to get another Linebacker, but If I can get a player like Goodman at this late in the draft you have to be happy. Again, you can't underestimate the talent on this defense and most have plenty of room to grow. This player and user has a very bright future in the league ahead of them.
#175 - NYS - Mike Karpaasi - Defensive End - puolivalmiste - S23
I don’t know this user at all, but they’re S23 and have enough TPE to be an anchor on our defensive line, hopefully for a long time. He plays for Frost, and even though Frost sucks, I trust that most, if not all, of his players are good people. So let’s pick up this unknown and see how they work out!
#176 - CHI – Austin McCormick – TE – Nokazoa – S19
With a quarterback secured, Chicago starts to look towards who his targets will be. With a young pairing in the key positions and plans to take a quite young group of receivers, this pick looks to bring a wealth of experience into the offence, a veteran presence and a reliable player to start the team off whilst the others develop. In comes Austin McCormick. For seasons, he was the most dominant tight end in the league and whilst he is now just past his peak, McCormick is still one heck of a player. He will be priceless in helping Caliban learn the system with a reliable set of hands to keep the offence moving during games. McCormick will become quite the asset and transition piece between the present and future for the offence of the Butchers, and to get a force like him in the middle of the draft, the Butchers are laughing all the way to the bank.
#177 - PHI - Givussafare Rubbe - OL - Caltroit_red_flames - S18
We all have to draft 1 OL player each. I chose to take a vetran Oline who is in regression but is an effective experienced player who could anchor a team. I wanted to get a High TPE OL for this championship level team and to save on drycleaning costs for Jack’s jersey.
#178 - COL - Jed Podolak - WR - KC15 - S19
Jed. The Podo. The other Lak. These are the things his friends call him. No need to confirm with him, because you read it here and how could I lie? Here are the facts: He is S19, so he is already regressing, but he has a thousand TPE so I’m not mad about it. He is a Speed Receiver so you already knew he’d end up on one of my times. I’m finding out he’s a Speed Receiver as I type this. Those are the facts. Listen. If Nate Swift can win 3 rings as old as he was, S19 isn’t going to scare me away from Receivers any time soon.
#179 - HON - Richard Leaking - LB - ReverendOReily - - S25
With only a few young linebackers left on the board, this one seemed the most promising to slot in next to de Ville. Rev’s a teammate of mine in SHL & he’s a character, so he should mesh well with this group.
#180 - BER - L’Gazzy Burfict - Linebacker - y2bobman - - S25
This is basically the last piece that I needed to complete my league leading defense. I don’t know him personally, but I’ve seen him in the London locker room when I pop in there from time to time and he seems like a nice person. He’s a good earner, and he’s - S25[/b] which means he’s got a lot of time before regression. This defense is going to be dominant for several seasons to come.
#181 - YKW - Dre Matthews - Wide Receiver - Confictional - S23
Another Berlin pick here by me. A user who I don’t know much about, but I know his player is a solid addition to this team. Just under six hundred TPE, few seasons from regression. He is the second leading receiver and can line up on the opposite side of Leeroy.
#182 - SAR - Calvin Golladay - OL - CalvinGolladay - S22
Fair rubs granted. I mean no disrespect to my friends on the other side of the trench by saying that this position was not my top priority, I mean simply to say that there are enough OL users that I was comfortable with that I felt I could afford to wait. However, at this point, I could wait no longer; Calvin Golladay simply felt too good to pass on any further. Although it is a bit tough to wax poetic about OL statistics, and particularly about the statistics of OL who have just never quite had enough to win Offensive Lineman of the Year, Calvin Golladay has been a sturdy presence in his time in the league, and CalvinGolladay has been a quality user. That’s what a team really wants in their OL, and that’s why he’s off the board here.
#183 - SAR - Peter Patterson - CB - slate - - S25
Another young talent who slid a bit further than he likely deserves, Peter Patterson is another key piece of the puzzle for Sarasota’s defensive backfield. Peter Patterson hasn’t been producing crazy numbers the way Tayshawn Crunk has, but he’s no slouch, and he brings longevity to the table for a defensive backfield which, generally speaking, is a bit older than him. Slate, again like Crunk, is an incredible user who brings a ton to both a locker room and a war room, and he deserves the same level of respect despite sliding to a slightly later pick.
#184 - YKW - Jameson Vermillion - Running Back - Vainknight13 - - S25
To compliment Zoe and have a back so far from regression, I was astounded that he was still sitting here. I almost swapped him and Dre but was hoping this would work out as it did. I know Vainknight from Minnesota and I know what he brings to the locker room. Cannot say it enough about how stoked I was for this pick.
#185 - BER - Killian Chambers - Wide Receiver - charlit - - S25
Char is another guy from the Minnesota Grey Ducks - S25[/b] draft class. He didn’t stick around as long as most of the others from that class, but we love him all the same. Even if he didn’t feel right continuing the role, he was chosen to be an ISFL GM, which is impressive to me. He’s a nice dude who I enjoyed having around in our locker room. He’s a good earner as well, so let’s goooo we got another great Grey Duck.
#186 - HON - Xmus Flaxon Jaxon-Waxon - S - ConnorM123 - - S25
Is Jaxon-Waxon right? I swear those names keep moving on me as I can never get the order right in my depth charts. In any case, Connor’s an awesome user, great at graphics & hey, did you know he’s Scottish too?
#187 - COL - Albert Ruschmann - DE - katarn22 - - S25
Colorado’s fourteenth selection in this draft is probably one of it’s best, especially for value. Katarn was one of the hottest properties in the - S25[/b] and his player has lived up to the billing. Ruschman adds to the growing youth on the new Colorado defense and is the first member of the - S25[/b] class added to the team. Drafting Brock skewed my plans offensively, which led me to leaving the defense out a bit. Hopefully in the final third of the draft, I can continue to add youth and strength; preferably some more of his talented classmates.
#188 - PHI - Iheart Syracuse - S - Huskies311 - S23
This pick is awesome. I get to draft my former GM/CO-gm on to my current team. Huskies are a great dude and still a good friend. I wish he was earning slightly better with this player, but we’ll gladly take him to help fill out this neglected secondary. Although we may have to see if we are able to change that terrible name yet.
#189 - CHI – Korbin Brown – WR – YoungTB – S24
A fourth consecutive offensive player for the butchers, we start to get a glimpse as to how their offence will be looking to shape up in a few seasons time. First look at this is with the selection of Korbin Brown. Brown is a receiver from the same class as Caliban, hopefully having built some sort of friendship or connection that they can take onto the field, but more importantly have a career that peaks at the same time to set the field alight. Korbin’s speed is his greatest weapon and that can’t be taught. He will be looking to build on the other parts of his game to pair with that blistering pace and could very well become one of the league's best receivers if he is able to do so seamlessly.
#190 - NYS - Wasrabi Gleel - Linebacker - Crodyman - - S25
I’m really scraping the bottom of the barrel here, huh? No, this may be a bit of a reach at this point, but I had to reach a bit to make sure that I was able to grab one of my favorite people in the league. Everyone knows that I’m being a homer in this redraft, and this is definitely another homer pick. Wasrabi Gleel was someone that we drafted to the Minnesota Grey Ducks during my offseason as head scout, before I was made GM. After that, we brought him to Chicago so that I could officially be a teammate of his. He’s one of my favorite users, he’s a max earner, buys equipment, and makes some of the best media in the league. There were several other homer picks that I’ve wanted to make and missed out on, so I had to pull the trigger here to make sure that I got another one in.
#191 - AZ - Doy Fieri - DT - Punter715 - - S25
Why are all the Defensive lines switching to CB? Who cares if you're a DT? We can discuss a position switch in future years. I continue to opt for upside and younger players over higher TPE IAs for the upside and longevity. Punter715 is also establishing himself as a great user taking over the GM role for the Liberty. If that's not a steal at this point in the draft I don't know how I do better.
#192 - NOLA - Dougie Smalls - Kicker/Punter - iseedoug - S21
Looking at the board there wasn’t anyone who immediately jumped out at me and having a solid and accurate kicker and someone who can flip the field as a punter was a great underrated addition. Dougie still has plenty of life left and I wanted to fill this position a bit early to make sure I grabbed some value.
#193 - SJS - Asher Quinn - CB - Dewalt27 - S18
Sabercats doubled down on their belief of having a veteran secondary unit, taking former wide receiver and now cornerback Asher Quinn to further add some level heads and league veterans to the defence. Whilst new to the cornerback position, Quinn knows exactly what a wide receiver is looking to do each play, after spending the majority of his career as one. He can take this knowledge to the other side of the ball and spread that amongst his teammates for that competitive edge in clutch or close moments that can tip the balance in his teams’ favour. Quinn will also become part of the anchors to the defence and mentors to the young stars they share the field with.
#194 - BAL - Djibutee McJimmerson - TE - UberBJ - - S25
TE was really the only position I hadn’t touched at this point (besides QB, but we’ll get to that) & the market was starting to thin out a bit, but I think I got myself a really promising young one here. Uber’s been very active since joining in S24 & I wouldn’t expect that to change anytime soon.
#195 - OCO - Honky-Tonk Haywood - DT - jzajenius36 - - S25
Gimme dat Honky-Tonk badonkadonk! Haywood is my first interior Defensive Lineman, and won’t be my last. Another young buck to add to a great core of young defensive players, the - S25[/b] Haywood should be a solid run stuffer in this new front-seven. The emphasis from round 9 forward was youth. Build with a mind to compete now, but also prepare for the future. Thanks to a great recruiting team in the ISFL, there is a wealth of talent to be found even this late in the process from S24 and - S25[/b], including, but not limited to, Haywood.
#196 - AUS - Brock Bodenhamer - WR - toivo - S23
Offense is not as important for the Copperheads as I made it for Sarasota, but at some point this team needed its WR2, and that comes in the form of Brock Bodenhamer now. NOLA has always been a run-focused offense, so Brock Bodenhamer has generally stayed out of the spotlight, but with Ramza to toss him the rock, now may be his time to flash his true talent. Toivo is predominantly an SHL user, but in spite of that leaning, he is widely regarded as a quality user in our community, adding just a bit more of that to a Copperheads locker room already chock full of the best.
#197 - AUS - Byron Dolls - OL - Symmetrik - S22
The Copperheads are going to be doing a ton of scampering, which means I probably should have snagged them an OL sooner, but with Byron Dolls available this late, I still feel quite comfortable with the talent they have available. Although Byron Dolls, like Calvin Golladay, doesn’t really get a ton of credit for his work, he is once again a sturdy OL, and exactly the talent the Copperheads need to elevate their offense to the next level. Symmetrik, meanwhile, is a sim league veteran, and the right type of user to have at OL; very much a team player, you can rely on Symmetrik to stick with it.
#198 - OCO - Darren Pama - RB - ztarwarz - - S25
A user so cool they have two Z’s in their name. How could you pass that up? But in all seriousness, Pama is a very good RB prospect and will have a couple seasons to grow behind Lackson before eventually taking the reins. He has already amassed 11 total TDs in his rookie season, with 3 games left to play, so the kid can most definitely play. Am I also noticing at this moment that both of my Running Backs are Speed Backs? Yes. I believe it is safe to say these new Otters have the one of the fastest offenses in the history of the ISFL.
#199 - BAL - NationalSimulation FootballLeague - S - SDCore - - S25
This is an 80 grade name right here. I mean how could you not want the legendary NSFL on your team. This is a player who was seemingly born to play in this league. A third - S25[/b] DB drafted by Baltimore, he’ll round out a good, young secondary that should be poised to dominate for a while.
#200 - SJS - Mac Griddle - S - mcgriddleLuver - S23
This is where the Sabercats decide to talk a strong business move over what may have been the best player option available to them at the time. By picking up Mac Griddle here, Sabercats also have opened up the door to be sponsored by McDonalds, a deal worth close to a billion dollars for the 10 years that has been inked between the two. Mac Griddle will hopefully upgrade his skills with the senior members of the secondary helping up but just the sponsor money he brings with him will make the Sabercats management happy, knowing that a state-of-the-art training facility is just as important to developing an Ultimus winning team as it is player skill in the modern game.
#201 - NOLA - Damian Blackfyre - Safety - Thundertitan82 - - S25
I really hate that I have to say good things about this user here. But I guess he deserves it. Another GFX wizard through the Minnesota Pipeline, an outstanding earner and all-round general great person. He will be a staple in the Defensive Back field for a long time. Another user to throw in the war room as well. You are welcome Thunder. P.S. leave Chicago they do not love you there……. Wait is this tampering? Sorry H.O. This is NOLA so it’s not like we’ll get in trouble anyway.
#202 - AZ - Adam Mellott - OL - GuitarMaster116 - - S25
This guy! I had planned to draft him as my OL for one of my teams since the draft started. Since my time as his DSFL updater our relationship has continued to grow. Now we’re to the point where I’m his ISFL updater and we couldn't be happier. He is a fantastic guy who is always active in the locker room and seems like a genuinely good person. Also your player is pretty decent too which i guess is important.
#203 - NYS - Jayson Kearse - Defensive End - JaytheGreat - S19
Every pick that I’ve made as the New York Silverbacks in this redraft has been a relatively young player. I’ve already filled a lot of holes on the team, so I figure I’ll go after a player with solid TPE to hold the team over until we’re able to replace them with a rookie sometime soon. I think that I’ve seen Jay in SHL, so maybe he’s more active there. He’s still around even though he hasn’t earned super well in this player’s career, so that’s a plus as well.
POST CONTINUES IN PART 3
