As a new player in the ISFL; I was cautiously optimistic that this league would be different. The LRs are popping; there's tons of stat geeks who are crunching numbers on the daily and above all; there's tons of dedicated users here who love this league. I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up, because just like in every other sim league; the voters are atrocious.


Cheese Farley; hyper active rookie of the Kansas City Coyotes. Maiteers Rico-Shea; inactive lay-about of the Tijuana Luchadores. The prior has consistently been present and popping off in his LR. The latter is too busy shitposting in the PBE to even bother checking in on the streams. Cheese Farley had 61 pancakes, 0 sacks and 0 penalties this season. Rico-Shea had 62 pancakes, 0 sacks and a whopping 9 penalties costing his team 69 yards. Cheese Farley has a DSFL OLOTY nomination and a perfect season. Rico-Shea has the OLOTY trophy and a squeeky clean bum from how much ass kissing he got from the voters.


Do I think this malice from the voters? That they were biased against Farley, or KCC? Or that they were biased towards Rico-Shea and wanted their boy to win it? No, no I don't. I don't think this was a malicious act to rob Farley of his much deserved OLOTY.


I THINK THAT THE VOTERS ARE LAZY AF AND THEIR DECISION MAKING PROCESS WENT NO FARTHER THAN LOOKING AT THE OL LEADERBOARD AND PICKING SHEA BECAUSE HE HAD ONE SINGLE PANCAKE MORE THAN FARLEY.


This media is their first time hearing about Farley's perfect season or Rico-Shea's 9 penalties. Because the voters don't watch the streams and they sure as hell don't make an informed and thoroughly researched vote come ballot time. Do the league a favor next time and leave that ballot blank.
