Dotts Website Announcement

Through the colossal effort of @caltroit_red_flames and @KoltClassic, the Dotts trading cards team is thrilled to announce the launch of our new website platform. For those of you who may be new to the league, Dotts has created thousands of collectible cards, including cards for nearly all players who have played for an ISFL franchise in league history, and numerous special sets celebrating Hall of Fame players, award winners, Ultimus winners, captains, first round draft selections, expansion picks and fantasy football top finishers. Our new website rolls out some major improvements, some of which I will highlight in this post:
1. Browser compatibility: Our first website had some issues with google authentication which resulted in many popular browsers being incompatible with our site within the first couple weeks of our launch. With a new process for logging in with username and password, the new site works with all browsers, even Google Chrome and Safari!
2. Improved collections pages: Our first site sorted all cards in your collections page by team only, and appeared in order of addition to the site. The new collection pages have pagination, allowing you to see many cards in a collection much more quickly. Additionally, one can sort cards in a collection by tier, or even search for a specific player! You will be able to see your own collection of cards and also browse through other users’ collections.

3. Improved visual experience: The new site looks better than the old. Perhaps the most interesting addition is a pack opening animation, and the ability to virtually flip through an opened pack one card at a time, imitating a real pack opening experience.

4. We have changed the pack composition just a bit to keep people from opening disappointing packs with all bronze cards. Each pack opened on the new site comes with a guaranteed star tier card.
We hope to continue to improve the website, most notably with the addition of trading in the future, a massive project in and of itself. We also will continue to improve the collections pages and overall visual and user experience as we receive feedback from you, our community.
