WK. 1 OFFENSIVE GAME BALLS:
Offense: Eleven Kendrick-Watts @11? 9 Receptions | 153 yards | 2 Tuds
Kendrick -Watts with the statement game!!! This was a message to the rest of the league. Defenses need to start triple teaming him or else he is going to keep punishing their secondaries. Watts gets the offensive game ball and states his case as this season's potential fantasy WR1.
Defense: Big Slammu @moonlight 9 Tackles | 1 Sack | 1 pass Breakup Talk about a team debut. The Big Slammu took a bite out of the offenses game plan all night long. Slammu smelled blood in the water as he seemed to be everywhere around the ball tonight. We got a freaking steal in our trade for Slammu and he is going to be a force to be reckoned with all season long .
Rookie shoutout: Deffo Not Leroy Leroy @mini ice ????????????????? 4 Receptions for 34 yards Deffo Not Leroy's potential flashed all night when he was on the field. This is the classic example of a box score not telling the whole story. While the stats don't jump out at you, Leroy made some clutch catches and garnered some attention that helped free his good friend Numbers up who had a big game.
Week 2 Game Balls :
Offense: Cobra Kai @Shades 19 rushes | 162 yards | 10 rec yds | 3 pancakes | 2 Tuds The man, the myth, the legend Cobra Kai was a menace to OCO tonight. He struck first and often and I'm sure is at a bar somewhere enjoying a well earned Coors Banquet after this monster performance.
Defense: Guy Fields @r0tzbua#7687 7 Tackles | 2 Sacks | 1 Pass Breakup Guy led the defensive charge tonight to shut down the OCO offense. Guy had 2 huge sacks and flew around the field like a mad man all game long! The offense failed challenging him. Run play his way? Stuffed. Throw it to his way? Knocked down. Try to let a single lineman block him? Hell 2 the nah, sack!
Special Shoutout: To.......... OUR WHOLE FOOKING SQUAD!!!! 2-0 baby let's enjoy being on top!!!
Week 4-6 Game Balls: This week Game Balls are going to be different than normal. Work business has caused me to miss a few games so I am going to catch up here. Rather than go game by game I am going to do a game ball for weeks 4-6 combined.
Offense: Deffo Not Leroy Leroy @mini ice ????????????????? Rookie Alert . Kobe stats don't matching with our wr1 necessarily but this is more about game impact considering his role this season. Kobe has been getting more and more involved on offense and has 14 catches over these last 3 weeks and got his first career td as well! Not only that but he's been a great positive influence in the Locker Room during our recent losing streak. Combine all that and you have my ROY candidate and game ball recipient!
Defense: Raeni Clark @bex Bex has been a mix of thunder and lighting for our defense these last few weeks. Lightning quick and thunderous hits. 17 tackles in the last 3 weeks and still made time to do cool stuff like being commissioner somehow.
Team spotlight Soo every one knows the first two weeks of the season are the most important which Is why we went 2-0. We are 0-3 since the less important games began (joking) but let's keep pushing! We are still rebuilding and this season will be somewhat of a roller coaster. Let's focus on having fun and getting our updates in and enjoy this ride!!
