It took a long time to get situated, but finally Alex Armstrong has landed in Kansas, as the number one wide receiver on the team.
There's a lot of pressure on him to perform due to the lack of other WR talent, but he'll do what he can to help fellow rookie Trevor Lorenzen get some good QB numbers.
He might be the only WR, but Kansas also has TE Virginia Emmet, who is also a rookie, looking to make some big plays on offense.
Kansas has added a number of rookies to the team this off-season, the most in the league. They hope they can use this youth to but a spring in their step and improve on last year's failure to make the playoffs.
Alex Armstrong was seen putting in extra training reps, and is focusing on getting his speed up in the near future. While first hoping to focus on strength and catching, his coaches have convinced him it would be best to work on speed for now, then worry about other areas later.
Speed, hands, and agility will surely be key areas to focus on while Armstrong attempts to grow into Kansas City Coyotes most dangerous receiving weapon.
Only time will tell where Armstrong can go with this team.
