Today, we asked Ricardo Sandoval to sit down and talk about what teams he would prefer to go to, and where he hopes to end up on draft night. This was his response:
Now, before I begin, I would like to address one thing. These rankings are from most preferred to not as most preferred. If a team ends up towards the bottom of these preferences, that does not mean I would not be overjoyed to be there, it simply means that either they don't have as much appeal or I simply haven't seen enough from or of them to prefer them over the others. Now, without further ado, let's get this started.
1. Orange County Otters
- Honestly, if you didn't know this would be number one, where have you been? This is the team that took me in, built me into the family, and accepted me. Also, the snail racing is a pretty fantastic locker room perk. Molarpistols and Roshambo are great GMs, and the team atmosphere is fantastic.
2. San Jose Sabercats
- First of all, obviously, Hail Lord Nibbler. Secondly, this is a team located in the same place where my charity is located. I think that is a huge benefit to me. Lastly, this is one of two teams that approached me BEFORE the Ultimus happened, something that is a huge jump on the other teams.
3. Baltimore Hawks
- This is the second team that approached me before the Ultimus to ask about my interest in joining their team. I don't know too much about them, but they seem nice, and I like their style, (minus the whole cheating allegations thing).
4. Arizona Outlaws
- I mean, as much as they're fun to hate, you can't kick a winning attitude, and they may be cocky, but they back it up. They're in the Ultimus, so they get a pass for not approaching me already, but I'm expecting something afterwards.
5. Yellowknife Wraiths
- The Wraiths seem like a fun yet serious group. They also seem very tight knit. That's really all I can say. I haven't seen or heard much of them. Dermot's chill, I guess.
6. Philadelphia Liberty
- The appeal of the Liberty is the opportunity to begin with a team that is a little younger, like my career. I would not be adding to an already great team, rather helping build a team up from the (near) bottom.
7. Colorado Yeti
- The only reason the Yeti have fallen this far is because they're a forgettable team, which isn't bad, it's neutral. I still haven't decided how I feel about the Yeti. They're pretty chill, I guess.
8. Las Vegas Legion :scrub:
- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No.
