"Before I take questions I just want to take a moment to say thank you to my teammates at BSU, as well as the coaches, the students, the city of Boise, and folks at Hometown Buffet for not asking too many questions. It's been an amazing four years and I'm proud of everything we accomplished both as a team and as individual people. I hope that you'll continue to support me as I make the move to professional football just like you supported me when I tried out for a few of the Theater Department's shows. I promise I won't do that again. Okay. That said, any questions?"
Have you formed any opinion about any NSFL team? Do you have any kind of preference for next week's draft?
"Well, as a fan of the NSFL I have a lot of opinions that I've shared with my tv, usually very loudly. But any personal favoritism I may have goes out the window as soon as my name is called. Whoever drafts me is going to get a player who will embrace the team. One at a time if necessary. In all seriousness though, I'm gonna go in and do what I've always done. Work hard, exceed expectations, and come to win. My preference is a team that understands that and accepts that I'm a little bit crazy and I'm never going to be a suit and tie guy out there hocking expensive watches on magazine covers. Drafting me is getting the player who never quits on the field and the person who loves to have a good time and sometimes ends up on the local news for crashing a Nativity play dressed as the Grinch."
What questions should Hometown Buffet asked?
"Well, let's just say that my entire O-Line and I would hit Hometown after practice a few times a week. I'm sure they were afraid we'd empty the entire place a few times."
Why should a team draft you?
"I'm coming into the league for one thing. Rings. I want to have so many rings that I have to wear some on my toes. And I'm willing to put in the work and the effort as both a player and a teammate to get that done. I want to leave a legacy of championship play and making sure my teammates and fans got the most out of me that they could."
If you had to choose between money and loyalty, what do you choose?
"Championships. Also, hot dogs."
What kind of player should GMs expect from you?
"They should expect someone who works hard, plays hard and then plays hard off the field. They should expect someone who will ask why in every team meeting so that I understand not just what the coach wants from me, but why. Expect someone who's going to drive them nuts and be very involved in every facet of training, playing, and team activity. Any other questions? Well, I want to thank everyone for their time. Good fight. Good night."
