Your boy cos is headed on a road trip to Ontario, California, so let’s get some media work done while we’re at it why don’t we? Today, I want to talk about recent happenings in the NSFL as well as for Ricardo Sandoval. Let’s begin at the main event that started the latest shit,
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]The Las Vegas Legion Mass Retirement[/div]
Yes, the Legion’s mass retirement. For those of you who know it, it needs no explanation. For those who haven’t heard about it, get out from under that fucking rock, because this was huge. Philippe Carter, Wyatt Fulton, Connor Tanner, Vinny Cox, etc. all retired in one huge mass retirement thread. Of these, only about 3 people were active so it wasn’t the biggest loss but it essentially threw the league out of balance. Sure the Legion were shitty, but at least they picked up a few wins here and there. With the team in the state it was left in after that mass retirement, every game against the Legion would be, in all essentiality, a free bye. This called for an immediate course of action, which led to rumors that @sapp2013 would be applying for the Legion GM job. With this, the Yeti would be back to not having a significantly notable gameplan or exemplary roster talent, so you can imagine my brother, Meme, was frusturated. That ushered in a new era of my brotherly love that led to…
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Aaron Brooks hired as Legion GM[/div]
Aaron Brooks, former Pythons co-GM, aka me, was hired as the new Legion GM, tasked with pulling together a crumpling pile of shit. I first attempted to find a way to get the retired players unretired from the Head Office to no avail, and justifiably. The Legion’s actions were absolutely stupid, and the HO owed them nothing. I then decided it was firesale time, and that everything must go for the rebuild. This led to trading for TE Joseph Askins of the Wraiths, who had expressed interest and even asked me if he should switch to Quarterback. I said yes, as Wallace Stone had made a comment about only staying active under a certain circumstance, and if you thought I was going to skip over this part, you thought wrong.
An “off-handed remark” does not mean nothing. Over the internet with text and no voice, there is very few ways to express sarcasm, and thus the comment that Stone would be inactive unless the team was rebranded to the Sloths stuck with me a bit. Not to mention I left the Locker Room when the team begun to rip into me about my logo design decision. I thought my QB was going IA, and thus I acquired a great substitute. This led to my VOLUNTARY unseating as GM in favor of @bovovo who is an excellent choice to run that franchise, and eventually…
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]The Trade[/div]
This trade, a 3-way trade, sent Ricardo Sandoval to his brother on the Yeti. This is where we reach the end of our journey… for cosbornballboy. For the league… oh ho ho…
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Shit Hits the Fan[/div]
For everyone in the NSFL, there was probably some level of suspicion that there was something fishy with the Outlaws success. And lo and behold, I… I mean… WE were right. @adam2552 was the one who finally found enough evidence to prove it and launch the investigation, but we finally did it goddamn it. So where do we go from here?
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]ENJOY SEASON 5 GODDAMMIT[/div]
Let’s not wallow in scandal or pissy moods for S5. So some of the teams are a bit messy now, take that shit in stride. Work with what you have and always remember, with the right gameplan, THE YETI BEAT THE HAWKS! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!! So let’s just sit back, do our updates, and get ready for some football damn it.
