Whether you've just won a big game that can change the season, your team has no shot of making the playoffs, or just random down time, there is always some shenanigans happening in the locker room. Write about one of these situations, it could be anything.

Graphic: Make a graphic showing an event in the locker room. Did someone just beat the team in some tabletop game (IE Table Tennis, Pool, card games, or board games), did the situation get out of hand and lead to some dispute? Just show what happened, include at least 2 renders, and whatever may be happening (such as a table for some sort of board/card game, or a ping pong tabble or pool table)

This is a story from a long while ago. Back when the Liberty were in their first season (S2) and we were all young rookies just having fun, we saw one of our fellow rookies holding out. Yes, to the veterans that read this story this person is indeed Matt James. The rookie was unhappy going to the Liberty, and while we were all having fun in the locker room he was nowhere to be found, sitting around with his agent thinking that he was worth more than most of us, making ludicrous demands within his contract. Well, when he was traded away and released his line of “Failadelphia” T-Shirts we decided to buy a box of them. First, they were used spare towels if someone needed one, then the uses became more and more bizarre. A few T-shirts turned into various targets, whether it was throwing any type of ball, or a dart board, the t-shirts became target number 1, and eventually we decided to send them in a blaze of “glory” if that’s the best phrasing for these horrible shirts. We all met at the training facility and had a cookout, and then a bonfire, where we burned all of the shirts we had bought and laid to rest the bizarre situation that was the Matt James Saga. All the guys in the locker room were a bit down after we were made to replay our match against the Solar Bears. We'd given everything to beat them the first time around and there just wasn't anything left in the tank. To our credit we kept it close, but it still hurt a lot to lose that game after thinking we'd come out of it 2 - 0.

Anyway, after we're all finished in the showers and are putting our clothes on to front the media -- which none of us were looking forward to -- coach comes barging into the locker room and yells, "Alright boys, turn those taps back on becaue it's time to re-sim your showers!"

Anyone who wasn't quick enough to get back into the showers was thrown in by coach and the boys wearing their expensivre clothes and suits and what not. It was all a huge laugh. Coach knew we wanted nothing to do with the journalists while we still had the sour taste in our mouths from the rematch, and he turned what was a negative experience into a good laugh and a fond memory.

So this one time after practise yeah? The team was feeling a bit peckish. So I suggest we get some cheeky nandos, however Trey Willie is all like nah bruvs let get a wendy's. Then Leclair chimes in and suggests going to red lobster. Hendrix walks in and overhears us talking about food plans and he's all like, let's smash down at Maccy D's. The fuck how old are you hendrix? Fuckin suggesting Maccy D you scum. Then Blocksdale says he's really feeling some Taco Bell right about now. Watcher looks disaproving and mentions Subway. Yeah nice thinking mate, fuckin subway, aka choice anxiety heaven. Taylor seems to want to go get some take away at Panda Express. Fletcher has the same idea, but recommends going to P.F. Changs. Then they start having arguing about which chain has the better food.

Goodson has had enough and yells at us and storms out the locker room. It is at this point we all just agree that we should all just go our seperate ways tonight.

Rafael Reyes - Cornerback - wasn't particularly happy even though San Antonio Marshals won all 3 games to start the season. Reyes was long time DSFL veteran, playing mostly unique Run Support role for the cornerback. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to make a name for himself in the big league. Now even bigger problem appeared. Vladimir "Siberian Swatter" Fyodorovich was claimed on waivers just after the season started. This talent hailing from Yakutsk immediately took his place in all defensive line-ups. This couldn't go well with Houston native. What's even worse for Reyes perspective his teammate performed well in new role. Words weren't needed when he charged into Vladimir. Fyodorovich, who grew up constantly fighting was no stranger to such situations and held his ground firmly. After few hits other players broke the scuffle and told Reyes to get some fresh air instead of ruining otherwise great atmosphere in the locker room. This is just temporary a solution, because while both of these hot headed corner-backs are on the same team you can count on them to continue the quarrel.

The first win of the season and the first win for our rookies made the locker room a very happening place this week. The result was trash everywhere. I feel particularly sorry for the janitors. Angus Winchester and Bradley Westfield saw themselves having a bit of an identity crisis on the field this week when Westfield kept running out on defense instead of Winchester. Westfield held his own and made some plays but it makes you wonder how much better Angus wouldve done. Afterwards in the locker room amid all the chaos you could see Angus and Bradley going over the playbooks and tape while the rest of the locker room was being destroyed with papers and bottles everywhere. Robert Phelps even had a gatorade container dumped on his head. It was all laughs until the coach came in and gave everyone a stern talking to and then made a few quips and jokes on his way out.

Hmmm what happens in the New Orleans Second Line locker room you ask? Unfortunately there is a saying as old as time that "What happens in the locker room, stays in the locker room." The locker room is a sacred place you see, a place where only players are allowed, and the New Orleans head coach respects this tradition religiously. No reporters are allowed, no friends or family of the players, and sometimes not even equipment trainers or other personnel. It's strictly for the players to connect with each other, hang out, bang hookers, strategize, and grow closer together as a team. Yes just good old fashioned manly men hanging out together in their towels in a hot and steam room with nobody else around. That's where you really feel alive and connect with your teammates on an emotional, mental, and especially physical level, and is precisely why nobody else is allowed in the locker room. Like that one time there were a bunch of hookers. Could you imagine if the media found out about that?

The Colorado Yeti locker room is a mystery to many in the league, including myself before being drafted in the S5 draft... but Michael Tillman learned the hard way what horrors occur when you walk through those discord doors each morning... First, the team is overseen by Matthew Vincent, a boss who is obsessed with winning so much to the point he has been seen given human sacrifices to the gods with a certain controversial QB that isn't here anymore.... It gets worse as Michael Tillman seems like he parties more than he practices which showed on the field, despite being the better player got beat out by Brister for DROTY. Showing up hungover isn't a once in awhile thing for Tillman anymore and is even influenced by locker room leader/quarterback/playboy Nicholas Pierno. Pierno, despite being more focused in his "ComebackSzn" can name every hot spot in the Colorado area and is known to hang out with celebrities during the season. The new edition of a cocky stud WR like Dwayne Aaron hasn't helped the focus of the team either. Carlito Crush has stepped up in his sophomore year and is known to have a temper when things don't go his way, throwing chairs and punching holes in the wall are an often reassurance after a rough Yeti season. Not all is bad though, there are players in the locker room who are determined, walk into work and do their job including Andre Bly Jr., Haruki Ishigawa, and Antonio Sandoval providing a veteran presence. Even rookie K/P Micycle McCormick has been noted of being a bright spot of the locker room. This is all I've heard from the locker room, but I can only imagine what other tom foolery goes on in there...

The Baltimore Hawks have the best locker room in the league. This is something I feel very confident in saying. The Hawks are a bunch of great dudes - nearly all of whom are old as fuck. This leads to various different activities in the locker room including a D n D game that has broken out in a separate server.

But really the Hawks LR is so great because we all get along really well. There's been a theory of sim leagues that activity breeds activity and I certainly think that is the case in the NSFL. The Hawks right now have far and away the most actives and the reason behind that I believe is how our locker room. We commiserate together when we blow a bull shit game against the Yeti and we celebrate together when we rip through our opponents and make back to back Ultimus games. This team is the best in the league in the LR and we're gonna prove that we are the best on the field too.

Baltimore’s locker room is rarely rowdy. I attribute that to the team culture that both GM Hendrix and star QB Avon Blocksdale pride themselves on. Their lead by example mentality sets the tone for a positive and inclusive atmosphere. I would also say that generally speak across the board, we have one of the oldest player bases in the league. Although our age gap spans nearly 2 decades, our young players are some of the most responsible and dedicated member, not only in our locker room, but in the league as well.

We do still have fun though as we have plans for an upcoming challenge amongst players. This challenge should be a good way to build rapport, overall team camaraderie, as well as put a few dollars into our pockets. Despite striking out in free agency, we have done a great job building through the draft and continuing to have one of the most active player bases in the NSFL.
